Tahla watched the droid's posture shift defensively, how it's torso craned back on what must have been robust servos, and how the glowing hot blade was placed between she and it. The Jedi Master moved to mirror it as if by instinct, adopting a guard, watching and waiting. She felt her heart beat twice before stepping forcefully forward, shimmering white blade leading, growling with the motion of the lightsaber through the air.

OOC: Standard to Attack: 1d20(14)+19=33. Spending a Force Point to modify: 2d6(4,4)=4, I guess. 37 total. Possible Damage: 2d8(3,3)=6+9=15.

Default End Round 3 - Begin Round 4

The rebels attacked ferociously. Through the will of the Force, Kadrien’s energy blast impacted the neat hole in the droid’s armor, further damaging it. The thing’s servos whirred in protest, as popping cracks of electricity traced its chassis. Tahla followed through as well, scoring a minor hit to an appendage that ate away cortosis plating. Meanwhile, Shayle and Alsia focused on the stormtroopers. Another grenade peppered the gun-less gunner, and stun energy knocked a trooper off his feet.

In response, the Imperials took a more guarded approach with the odds slowly turn against them. Assuming the droid to take care of the jedi, troopers continued hammering the motley assortment of aliens dogging their positions. While the gunner took cover, an energy salvo seemingly immolated Kadrien. A simple wave of the hand, and the blast disappeared, including many of the wounds suffered only seconds prior. A similar disturbance occurred down the passageway as the Force absorbed more blaster energy. A light singe to Alsia’s uniform was the only trace that it actually happened.

With the attacks doing little to deter the enemy, the droid took a different tact to ignore the small jedi. Its shoulder-mounted missile launcher tracked the closest aliens, bearing down via laser guidance. At the moment of fire, smoke emanated from the launcher due to other malfunctioning systems. The weapon lagged, pointing down towards the deck as the droid struggled to reroute power.

OOC: Kadrien auto-crits with attack on Purge Trooper, takes 48 damage.

Alsia hits SG for 20 damage.

Shayle moves to current and hits S1, knocking him unconscious with stun damage.

Tahla hits Purge Trooper for 5 damage.

    Imperial’s Turns:

SG moves to current. Takes a move action to draw frag grenade.

    S2 attacks Kadrien with autofire: 1D20(18) + 16 + 1 (PBR) - 4 = 31, burns FP (5/6) = 37, hit.
    3D8(17) + 5 = 22 damage
    Kadrien UtF to Negate Energy: 1D20(10) + 18 = 28, success.
Burns a Force point to heal 22 damage.

    S3 attacks Alsia with autofire: 1D20(8) +16 +1 (PBR) – 4 (autofire) = 21, miss.
    3D8(18) + 5 = 23 / 2 = 11 – 10 (DR) = 1 damage.

PT attacks Kadrien and Shayle with missile launcher: 1D20(1)…wtf.

Emboldened by the malfunctioning droid, Tahla pressed her attack, slashing at the monstrous machine with her lightsaber.

OOC: Full-Round Action to Double Attack - 1d20(2)+16=18. 1d20(5)+16=21. Probably both misses. Sorry guys.

"Last one." She thought to herself. "Gotta make it count." However, she got thinking about her next move and the distraction cost her and she knew immediately as it left the tube.

    ooc: Attack same trooper
    1d20(6)+13=19; 4d6(6, 1, 1, 6)+6=20

Kadrien reached out with the Force, feeling the cold metal killing machine that was the massive droid. The droid was big, and in the Force he could see every little whirring servo that was necessary for it to function. Though the droid may be too big for him to control in the Force, he could make a few of those gears and servos grind to a halt. He focused on them as he built up his strength and then gripped them in the Force. If he was strong enough, and lucky enough, the droid might just grind to a halt.

    OOC:
Kadrien will activate Force Grip on the Purge droid. If UtF beats Fort defense, droid takes 6d6 damage and can only take a swift action next round.

    UtF:(12) + 18=30. Spending a Force Point:(3,5)= 35 total. I believe it gets a +5 size bonus to it's fort defense.

    dmg:(4,3,6,2,6,20 = 23 damage.

If Kade takes damage this round, I will use my Delay Damage class feature so that he doesn't feel the effects till next round and doesn't need to roll a UtF check to maintain Force Grip.

Tahla continued to strike at the large droid, but the thing's speed belied its overly large size. It dodged both strikes of her lightsaber. It wasn't until she heard a crunch of metal did the droid hesitate, but for only a moment. Kadrien's crushing use of the Force had only a minor effect, it's servos whining in protest.

Meanwhile, Alsia's final grenade did the job, exploding down the passage to take out the gunner for good.

OOC: Tahla misses with both strikes.

Kadrien DC 37 UtF check, failure. Purge Trooper takes half damage: 11 - 10 (DR) = 1 damage and is still up.

Alsia puts down SG with final grenade.

    Still Shayle to go!

Shayle stayed in his alcove. He leveled his blaster and fired at the trooper across from he and Kadrien. He hoped they could end this soon with minimal damage, he hoped.

OOC: 2 swift action to Set for Stun

    Attack at #2 1d20(19)+12+1= 32

Damage 3d8(7,6,4)+6+1= 24 stun damage. If beats damage threshold goes -3 on condition track. Takes 12 real damage.

Default End Round 4 - Begin Round 5

While Alsia traded out weapons, Shayle’s stun bolts hit the closest trooper. Though energy tendrils danced along his armor, the Imperial shook off the worst of the attack.

In response, a hail of fire impacted the spaces around Kadrien and Shayle. Each rebel now had a dozen small burns upon their bodies. Shayle’s fur and uniform smoked, almost catching aflame. The Purge Trooper again swung its scythe-like burning blade. Tahla attempted to parry, but the droid’s strike came lightning fast, plunging into the meaty quadriceps muscle of her left leg with surgical precision. Tahla’s vision became hazy for a moment, using jedi meditation techniques to ignore the pain.

OOC: Elder, it’s ok that Alisa dropped her weapon and drew her gun.

Shayle’s attack his, but does not beat damage threshold. S2 takes 12 damage and is -1 down the track.

    Imperials Turns:

S2 takes two Swifts to begin moving up the track.
    S2 attacks Shayle with Autofire: 1D20(15) + 16 + 1 (PBR) – 1 (Condition = 31, miss.
    3D8(17) + 5 = 22 / 2 = 11 damage.

    S3 attacks Kadrien with Autofire: 1D20(12) + 16 + 1 (PBR) = 29, miss.
    3D8(19) + 5 = 24 / 2 = 12 damage.

    Purge Trooper attacks Tahla with purge blade: 1D20(12) + 24 – 1 (Condition) = 35, potential hit.
    Tahla UtF to block: 1D20(7) + 18 = 25, miss.
    2D10(16) + 20 = 36 damage and Tahla is -1 down the track.

    Your turn!

The hot metal blade pierced her thigh. She felt an intense pain, and smelled her own flesh cooking. Her vision swam and she felt the corridor turn beneath her feet before she managed to fight through the overwhelming sensations before managing to control them.

I am one with the Force, she thought.

Her lightsaber blade dipped, the blazing white stream of controlled plasma pointed down to the deckplate, and she let her eyes flutter closed, trusting in the Will of the Force. She reached for the stormtrooper behind her, felt his mind fuzzy with the chaos of battle, and like a Teras Kasi practitioner, shifted all of her mental weight forward.

    Hard.

OOC: UtF check to activate Move Object - 1d20(12)+18=30. If successful, she'll throw S3 into the Purge Droid. Possible Damage - 8d6(2,1,4,6,5,3,1,2)=24. Spending a Force Point to tack on an extra 2d6 damage - 2d6(4,1)=5+24=29. Yuck.

The jedi master reached out, telekineticaly flinging the farthest trooper across the passageway. He collided with the droid in a sickening crunch of metal and plasteel. As the trooper fell to the deck, Tahla could hear the grinding of gears. The droid was on it's last leg...

OOC: UtF to Move Object, success both targets. S3 is moved to current on the map and is prone.
    PT takes 29 - 10 (DR) = 19 damage.
S3 takes 29 damage and is -1 down the track.

    Still everyone else!
