"Very well, it seems like we have teams coming together," Admiral Varth answered. "Colonel Wist'lya, I suggest you lead the other strike team. Master Tahla and Captain Verza can pilot their fighters I assume?"

Alsia nodded her head in acquiescence, she had nothing to add to the matter.

"Very well, we'll still need two pilots for the other fighters," Varth said.

"I have a man, Vordell," Zrak added. "He's good for fighter escort and still owes me a favor."

"I can spare one of mine," Bel Iblis confirmed.

Varth nodded. "Good, we'll send a few soldiers on both the Jaded Trickster and Beginner's Luck to round out the boarding team."

"You have your orders. The attack commences in 12 hours. It's a two hour jump from here to Byss. Get some rack time..."

At that the meeting dismissed. Kenobi stayed behind to catch up with Organa, while Bel Iblis and Zrak took their leave.

OOC: Ok folks, post at will. I don't know if you want to talk among yourselves. I will move us ahead tomorrow morning.

Tahla left the briefing room, and headed toward the hanger. The immense dreadnought still felt unfamiliar, and probably would forever. If she lived to see forever, anyway. She missed the tighter spaces of the Resurgence, if such a thing could be missed. These corridors were so wide, nobody ever interacted, it felt like. She was thankful for the Peregrine, after the cramped conditions on Polis Masa, but there was no place like home.

Turning a corner, she jogged to the end of the passageway before the dreadnought's massive hanger deck swallowed her whole. She could see the Black of space, dusted with glistening stars through the hazy blue "there and gone again" mirage of the magnetic field in place over the open bay door for just a few moments before yellow lights began to flash, as a klaxon alerted the deck crew on duty a minute or two before the huge launch bay door descended with a regally slow procession, replacing the stars inch by inch with flat grey durasteel. She figured they were about to jump.

the Jedi Master crossed the deck to where the Jedi Interceptor, dubbed the Jewel of Corucant by Bail Organa nestled down on its three landing struts like a resting raptor. She stood tiptoe to peer into the engines. Satisfied, Tahla ducked, craning her neck up toward the fighter's underbelly. She ran both hands down the belly, all the way to the arrow tip point at the other end. There was mild scoring from space dust, nothing wider than a centimeter or two. Should be fine. Her shields held up fine in the flight from the Resurgence, and the blue and cream paint was still bright and unmarred. She walked around, stopping at each of the landing struts. She leaned down, and grabbed each with both hands, hauling and shoving back and forth until she was sure that there was no wobble. On the starboard side of the cockpit, just below the canopy, some joker thought it would be a cute idea to paint a scorecard on the fuselage. She'd have it covered over if she made it out again. The last thing that she needed was a reminder of the lives she had taken. She stood there for a long time, transfixed, one hand pressed onto the angular hull. It might be the last preflight check she ever made. Letting her eyes flutter closed, she stretched out with her feelings. Tahla slipped into the all too familiar trance, the air around her replaced with the golden dust of life-stuff that swirled around everything in her minds eye. She stretched, flowing out of body, passing through bulkheads, every living being about the dreadnought a pinprick of light in the sea of gold.

"Master Qui-Gon..." She breathed, counting her heartbeats.

OOC: Tahla will spend a Destiny Point to use the Farseeing power to contact the Force Ghost.

The eerily photonic muted blue and white manifestation of Qui-Gon Jinn came forth. His stern, yet somehow kind, visage was implacably unreadable.

"You've done well, Master Tahla," he said with a nod. "With Obi-wan and all the allies gathered here, this fight has a chance to succeed."

"I have succeeded in a military rebellion where I've failed the peaceful Jedi Order, Master. Trangle Lightspeeder threw his life away, and Master Thorla was murdered. Master Kenobi would return to seclusion, and Master Yoda willingly remains in exile. I brought Bran Kota back from the edge of the Dark Side only to have him taken from us, and though his son's life hangs in the balance, we've had no word Fromm Rahm Kota. My student Kadrien Soth's sister remains in the Emporer's service, and I feel as though everything I've ever known is slipping through my fingers like sand in the tide, Master Jinn."

Alsia went her own way, the force was drawing them towards their destiny - whatever that was. She knew she needed some rack time but she had other things to do first. After several wrong turns and some helpful tips from others, she found the armory. She stood in line at the weapons cage for her turn. When it was her turn, she stated plainly, "I need something for killing dark jedi, nothing with a beam that can be reflected back. What do you have in the "special" section?"

Deep in thought, the elder jedi crossed his arms. Tahla thought it odd. Was he not one with the Force, an extension of its being? Or was this just the jedi afterlife? Perhaps the Force ghost only made human expression as a shadow of his former mortality? Who knew. Jinn's training was unknown territory to her.

"I have watched you a long while now. Where the jedi order failed, your insight brought success in survival. Why is that? Why do you think you stand here now, a jedi master, despite all odds?," he asked.

OOC: Will, Rahm Kota is on his way. Garm Bel Iblis confirmed.

The master at arms was an RA-7 protocol droid, the type used at the end of the Clone Wars for military analysis. It turned to regard Alsia, insectoid head titled to the side. How such a droid came to be on weapons detail was beyond the Antarian ranger.

"Dark jedi, you say," the droid replied in a cultured, gravely voice. "Energy weapons will not be of much use. Have you thought of projectile explosives? I can issue a standard grenade launcher. You can fire them away from the jedi and them still be caught in the blast radius."

Alsia listened as the droid basically stated back to her everything she had initially. She was initially disappointed with the grenade launcher option but it was still better than nothing. "Sounds good, please give me what you can." After receiving the gear, Alsia left for the hanger. She needed to check on the Objects.
