    Bubbisa plodded down the hallway, wary of anything that seemed un-ordinary. As she passed the place where Smiler had fallen, swept clean of dust bunnies and gearghost bits by the ravenous priest, Bubbisa noted the pressure plate that had sprayed Gobs during Smiler's final moments. SHe also spied a pair of short benches, each with a tiny dot of discoloration at head height behind the seat. And a secret panel possibly hiding a hidden passage.
    Gobs moved into position behind Bubbisa, doing his best tostep where she stepped and look where she looked. His growing adoration for his new chieftess sped his steps and he nearly walked onto Bubbisa's ankles when she stopped at the doorway where Smiler had died. With a nod and some hand gestures, Bubbisa pointed out where Gobs could see the pressure plate for the acid trap he'd tripped during the combat. Beyond in the room he also noted the spots of discoloration on the walls abov the bench seats, as well as the secret panel. What he also noticed, that Bubbisa hadn't, was that the secret panel was trapped, or something like it. Alchemical glue was used to seal it, likely pointing to a gas trap if he knew Smiler's preferences, as he suspected he did. However, a well-concealed hatch in the floor between the benches was safe but probably locked. Gobs was sure that sitting on the benches was a bad idea, considering that likely there was a sharp point ready to poke someone in the back of the head if they sat. Gobs set to work on disabling the tile while explaining to Bubbisa what he'd discovered with her guidance.
    "Boss, there for sure traps behind spots on wall. Me thinkin' pointy things to the head. But secret panel trapped! There 's a floor hatch between the benches. That's trap-free I think." Gobs dug loose a small spike from his tool kit and a tiny hammer, gently working the wedge into a seam in the floor to freeze the pressure plate in place. He gestured grandly to the room as he entered and stood beside the floor hatch and tapped his toe on it to indicate its space. "Want me to open it?"

    Bubbisa's Perception 24 sees tile trap, bench trapx2, secret door trap;
    Gobs perception d20(19!)+8+4 (Bubbisa's expert aid)=31! Woot woot! Success, sees everything Bubbisa did, plus that the door panel is trapped but a floor plate, which I cannot represent, but imagine to be between the "h's" in the ch for bench "icons", is not trapped.
    Gobs Disable Device d20(14)+10=24, easily disables the trapped tile

    Bubbisa nodded to Gobs. "Me want see what in secret door. Go Gobs, show me. And no goblin sit in chairs unless want another hole in head." She said to everyone. Mostly she didn't want her trapsmith distracted, he had a job to do.

    "Me want see what in secret door. Go Gobs, show me. And no goblin sit in chairs unless want another hole in head." Bubbisa's wish was Gobs command. He drew his sword, in case there was something below awaiting them. Then, with a bit of effort, as the door was stuck shut, he wrenched it aside. Below was a low tunnel, goblin-sized and dusty. Nothing stirred within the darkness. Gobs leaped into the hole, swiveling backwards and forwards to look at the tunnel.
    "It go back towards torch room one way. Other way has door at end." Gobs poked his head up to give his report. He grinned. "Want me explore back or forward or what?" Gobs waited for his leader to respond.
