I have no idea how I feel about this.

I would say that I am cautiously optimistic. Let's hope Disney doesn't mess up too bad.

I'm not going to deny it: I turned my back on Star Wars after EP 2. I made the mistake of giving EP 3 a try and for years, Star Wars has been dead to me.

Once they got it away from George Lucas, I am actually optimistic about EP 7.

Disney is doing great things recently. However, I thought the lightsaber cross-guard was a little cheese.

If he instinctively grabs hold of that part with it other hand........ouch

But the X-Wings and the Falcon part = Awesome.

Also the new Storm Troopers actually look more menacing than the old ones.

Agreed on all accounts. He probably has trained to not grab the lightsaber like that. I wonder if we could come up with gaming rules for that...

With Lawrence Kasdan on the script and a better focus on practical effects, I am all in. The teaser didn't tell us much, leaving me hungry for more. Exactly what it's supposed to do. Not to mention the final movie usually looks a bit different a year later. I am ready!

Something about it just didn't feel right to me. I think its the music at the beginning and the style of the trailer, it didn't feel like star wars. But its just a teaser so I'll wait to truly judge.
