    Conditions Healthy

    Description Well toned, but not overly muscled, Downfall's figure is noticeably smaller than a full grown human. His unkempt, shoulder length hair frames a face more often than not smirking in self satisfaction. What is exposed of his tan skin is riddled with nondescript Kagonesti tattoos. The left side of his face is scarred from a savage Dire Bear claw attack.

    He is clad in a chain mail shirt, with leather straps tightly securing the normally loose sleeves and waist to his arms and abdomen. Around his neck he wears a self carved wooden medallion depicting a feather. At his waist, a simple belt supports two blades. The curved sheaths are criss-crossed at his back, with the handles extruding downward. Across his chest is a bandolier housing multiple daggers. A well worn looking backpack is tightly secured to his back as well, with a flatness that suggests minimal contents. A female wolf with better temperment than his own seems to follow him wherever he goes.

    Background
    Princess Lauralanthalasa Kanan had grown weary of one of her fathers least civilized servants, Tempest Windstrider. She decided to play a trick on him by using illusive magics to make him believe one of the Old Gods appeared before him. Tempest, having no idea it was an illusion or who was behind it, believed Chislev wanted him to spread word of the Gods' return. After a cursory study of religion, Tempest changed his name to Downfall, hoping to evoke the image of his Goddess' symbol descending from the heavens.

    After a brief period of mockery in his hometown, Downfall set off to spread his message to a more open minded audience. During these travels he happened across the Blue Crystal Staff of Mishakal. Unable to wield the staff, and suffering from a disease incurred by the surrounding swampland, the young Elf stumbled upon a woodcutter named Aegir who took him in. Aegir was able to wield the staff and through it use Divine Healing for the first time in ages. A few days after healing Downfall with the staff, the two met up with Aegir's friends after which the group was run out of Solace by the Highseekers and began a series of world changing quests.

    Throughout his adventures with the group, Downfall was contacted by Chislev twice. The first was a test in which Chislev appeared as a Dire Bear and fought Downfall. It was during this test that Downfall acquired his wolf companion, Faoiltiama, as well as the claw mark scars on his face. More recently, Downfall was led away by Fao who spoke in Chislev's voice and gave him the mission of reclaiming the forest of Silvanesti.

    Usha Majere wears her years with grace and man is still powerless to call her anything but beautiful. She is short of stature and sleight of frame, but underestimate the hungry gleam in her weird, golden eyes at your own peril. A jewel-encrusted silk headband keeps her shoulder-length blonde hair out of her face. She dresses comfortably for travel in soft cloth and supple leather, but she is never without the long black cloak that marks her place in the Orders of High Sorcery.


    Bio
    The River of Time diverges and joins in many places, and many thousands of people can be affected by the slightest ripple. Usha Majere was not immune from the River's subtle influence. Usha's fate was changed not by any action of her own, however, but by that of the man who would one day become her husband. Palin Majere erred during his Test of High Sorcery, and was killed attempting to win his place. One wrong decision made by one man affected lives thousands of miles from the Tower of Wayreth. Never meeting Palin, the spark of love had never kindled in her heart. The Academy would never be founded, they would never marry, and no children would follow them into the world.

    The Chaos War woke something in Usha. She had seen real power, brushed with it, and even wielded it for a time. The hunger that the events of the Chaos War had awoken in her would never subside. Meeting Raistlin, Usha discovered that the fantasy of a lonely little girl was in fact true. He was her father. Having never met Palin, Usha had no reason to leave Raistlin, and apprenticed at his side until she appeared at Wayreth's gate to try the Test of High Sorcery, and take her first steps along the Path to achieve her one desire, tempered and honed at Raistlin's side: Power.
