    Default Dwarven Depths Preview

This news may have been posted already. I so, my apologies!

The first chapter of Dragons of the Dwarven Depths will be included in Amber and Iron, due out in February.

Another reason to buy the book right away.

You guys sure don't make it easy for those of us who were going to wait for the paperback.

I'm just as excited about this book as any fan -- as it's one thing I speculated for years would be picked as a subject by the TSR/Wizards book department. As a fan, I'm relieved and excited that it will be Weis & Hickman telling this tale. In Dwarven Depths we'll get to see Raistlin in red robes, hear Flint's grumbling and bickering with Tasslehoff, and see Sturm Brightblade act with honor and bravery.

I really love the "modern" post-War of Souls era of Dragonlance, but this is one blast from the past I can't wait to read. And we get to see it this year!

Woohoo! Great news! Just to echo Jamie, I cannot wait to see the companions but I am really looking forward to the Dwarves.

Yet another reason to lock my friend in his room till he finishes reading it!!! Then take it and not give it back till I get it, like I did with Annotated Chronicles!!!

That is pretty neat with the appendix and the preview chapter bundle with A&I too that is quite a bit packed into that book now.

I couldn't agree more with you here. I oringinally wasn't sold on this series when it was title Dark Chronicles because I thought it would primarily focus on the Dragon Army during the War of the Lance. I wasn't interested in reading a story told from another viewpoint, but as I have read on these boards the book will be covering the stuff that was skipped. It will be new, and it will contain those who have already left for one more final and glorious adventure.

    Question any actual date yet?

Has there been any actual date for Amber and Iron in February? Amazon doesn't even have a page for the hardcover yet. Can't wait!
