Wow looks very cool...I like how they kept the same style from the Chronacles books.

The truth is that I dont like that design, Tas looks too serious in my opinion.

Nice cover! I also like the way it follows the "Weis/Hickman novel motif." Now I'm really psyched for this book to be released. (Sigh...wait, wait, wait.)

Could anyone please remind me of which companions went on this particular adventure? Was this when the team had already split into two groups? I only re-read Chronicles for the third time just a year ago, and already I forget. :o

This is before the heroes were separated in Tarsis, so it's everybody.

Ack! Every time I click the Enlarge View button, the new window that opens up shuts down right away. :(

EDIT: Never mind, had a pop-up issue and I didn't realize it. :o

I really hope they change it.

Even the red background with the dragon (which is the best part of it) seems to have been reapeated too much for my tastes. I realize that they try to fit the new Chronicles into the series, so it's natural to use a cover in the tradition of the latest editions, but I mean come on, there must be some new ideas! It's something we've seen before, thus very un-impressive (<--- bad for a new product).

I like Stawicki's covers, but I expect to see something at least a little different on each new novel, somthing that justifies the word "new".

Personally I love the cover with Flint and Tas and Tanis on it. I thought it looked stellar kind of a throwback to the original Chornicles covers. I am going to buy the book just on this cover alone. If only I could get an autographed copy.
