Cool Nine Years of the Nexus

Has it been nine years already? It sure doesn't seem like it. Yet this month, the Dragonlance Nexus celebrates its ninth birthday!

At this time of year, I get a bit nostalgic. I think of old friends, some of whom have moved on. I think of all we have been through, and about what a great community we have. I think of all of you.

The Dragonlance Nexus was born as a beacon. It called to Dragonlance fans, and was a place around which we could rally. Here we are, nine years later, and we're seeing another time of uncertainty. Yet the Nexus remains.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has contributed to the Nexus, shown support, or just had fun using it. It is to all of you that the Nexus, a site by the fans and for the fans, continues to light the way.

    Hooray!
The official canon of Dragonlance, for a variety of reasons, is not as good as it could be. I do it better.

See, what I really like about the Nexus is the many friends it's brought into my life. The mountain of resources that's just waiting to enhance any gamer's enjoyment of Dragonlance is just a fantastic bonus.

So it has been that long. Certainly something when you look back on all of it.
