    Default Dragonlance eTools Dataset

For those of you who make use of eTools for your D&D games, click here! The Dragonlance Campaign Setting dataset is now available for purchase and download.

    That's awesome.

Now someone just needs to produce unofficial DL plugins for DM Genie or PCGen.

What are e-tools. I just started being a DM and am looking for ways to improve my skills.

    E-Tools Info: http://www.codemonkeypublishing.com/...=display&pid=6

It is a computer program that allows you to generate characters and monsters for D&D. It also capable of being used to produce a lot the random effects results for things from the DMG like weather, town generations, and other stuff.

It has just recently got a data-set that allows things for Dragonlance to be calculated into its program now.

You have to purchase the dataset seperate, though.

Yeah, but I assumed that people have clicked on the link in the first post before they get to here. Then again, you figure even then some people might not be too clear on the whole thing.

My understanding is that a PCGen plug-in can't be far away...

Marvelous! I'm a big fan of PCGen (and Open Source in general).

I am a bit confused here:

Wasn't PCGen shareware at one point? Also, which one is better, E-tools or the PCGen?

I remember with my old Core Rules program I could create my own classes, monsters, whatever, can I do it with these programs?

    Finally, are they worth buying?

    Any opinions are welcome.
