OOC: this is after the dragon overlords have settled, and the land around Qualinesti is starting to turn swampy. Sable is extending her reach, over the elven lands, her power has grown as she has taken several dragons into her service.
The dark knights have hold of Qualinesti and are fearing the wrath of the Black Overlord. They have doubled their watch and have killed many of the Black's service, goblins, humans, draconians and spawn.
In a small village near the edge of the Quainesti forest, a group of mercenary warriors have been hired to take care of a black dragon that has been spotted nearby, but due to the weavers in the village, the village has stayed hidden.

Kelevandros looked around he had hoped there were more than this, after all it was well advertised. He had three elves and a Knight of Neraka, great.
"Right, listen up we are after a black named 'Sulphuric', he has been taking this land for his own and is causing a lot of trouble, we have to take out this dragon, but he is hidden somewhere and his minions are everywhere. Normally I would put you into two groups but as there are so few of us we will stick together." Kelevandros walked in front of them and let the news sink in.
"This is what we are going to do, there is only one person who knows what is going on in the forest and that is the leader of the Kagonesti, and as always they are proving very elusive to find, so we have to travel to Qualinesti to find a kagonesti to get us in contact with their leader. Is everyone following?" He waited. "Good, lets go."

"that sounds a bit to easy. are you sure the kagonesti are just going to hand the infromation over?"

[Calus]

"Nope not really, none of us are fellow Kagonesti, so we have to wait and see what their leader says."

[Calus]

"Well then we had better be on our way then, the sooner the better", kelevandros said to the group. Qualinesti is a full two days away, they have to travel over the same river twice as it circles around to their path again and across dense woodland.
Kelevandros walked into the forest, they had been travelling for about half a day and something was not right, the ground had suddenly turned to marsh land and was becoming boggy and unpleasant to the elvish sight.
There was something else a feeling that they were being watched, in the fog a small figure ran between two bushes, Kelevandros saw the glint of steel and stopped. He started to hear voices. "Goblins", he whispered. He drew his Longbow out, strung it and placed an arrow in it, ready to get the first goblin head to poke out, the voices were coming from all around.

Mourndomeiel drew her sword from it's hilt, turning to face the rear, praying their wasn't to many goblins.

On his patrol routine, Kundar was horse-riding on the road. ''Home,sweet home i'm coming... this damn patrol is sooooo long... '' He tought... Then he heard a commotion not alot far than here... ''Let's go Fire Arrow, the sound of a battle make my blood boil!''he said to his big red horse. The horse run a the maximum speed he could. Now, Korgan could see three figures at the end of his sight. '' Some escapee??'' tought the knight.

Kelevandros swivelledaround as he saw agoblin head poked outfrom the smoke, he let loose his arrow and was satisfied by a scream. Goblins burst out from the undergrowth. There were loads of them, Kelevandros shot down another three before he drew his long sword.

OOC: I did this in Tides have Turned. It worked quite well. It is an enemy counter, so I have killed 4 gobbos, there were twenty of them. so Gobbos left 16.

'' There is a good archer, I need to be vigilant...'' tough Kundar, keeping the pace... He was now able to see the goblins. '' FOR OUR LOST QUEEN!!!!'' he said in his charge to one of the goblin who was near him.

She saw Kele takedown three goblins when two came rushing at her from the side. She spun around to face them and stabbed one in the chest, the other goblin aimed a blow at her; she dodged out of the way and cut it's throat.

The unlucky goblin who was the target of Kundar finsihed without head. ''You have the right to fight those goblins but after you'll need to explain your business here.'' said the knight at the same time he cut the arm of a goblin and trust his sword in the body of an other.

OOC: sorry am i with the group or what?

OOC: Prevail you are with us, the three elves left together, we are beign attacked and now papytofu has turned up with his Drak Knight.

IC: Kelevandros prepared for the charge by two goblins, he killed one and through the chest, and barely dodged the other goblin's attack. Kelevandros was mediocre at the sword and so he had a little trouble as he couldn't remove his sword from the body whilst trying to dodge the goblins sword.
This game lasted for a couple of minutes, the gobln wasn't getting tired and the sword wasn't moving, as quick as lightning Kelevandros pulled an arrow from his quiver and stabbed the arrow in to the goblin's neck; he withdrew his sword and turned to fight the
next goblin.

Three goblins circled Kundar, doing small cut on his horse. ''Pesky goblins!'' growled Kungar. His horse charged and stomped on the goblin in front of them... With his trained reflex Kundar had the time to finish one of the two goblins. The one without an arm ran away, leaving a long blood trail behind him.

OOC : 7 left... please don't kill the one-armed goblin, he could become a foil in the story, like a spy for the black dragon or something like that...

Krynin who had stood by and watched most of the fight, wasn't planning on fighting. Standing there a goblin ran at him, shaking his head he waited for the goblin to get close then he quickly pulled out one of his shamshir and sliced upwards in front of the goblin. Then down across the back of the goblin, Krynin turned and stabbed it in the back. Deciding to help he lunged at full speed, with bloth shamshirs out at a goblin so fast that he was a blue blur. Slicing an x on the goblins chest then cutting off its head, Krynin stood looking for another goblin.

Turning again, Mourndomeiel saw yet another goblin running at her. The goblin was not very good with a sword and she easily beheaded it. As she watched the head fall a second goblin knocked her sword out of her hand. Furious, she quickly grabbed her bow and struck down the goblin.
OOC: 3 left...who wants em?

OOC: I think I will. :D

IC: Kele parried the three swords at once and skewered one of the goblins, he then turned to face the other two; blocking and parrying, twisting and turning Kele slowly tired the goblins he waited for them to make a mistake, he found it, a goblin had brought his sword too high in the air and his partners sword was too far away to stop Kele from stabbing the goblin. The last goblin was easily killed.
Kele looked around, "Are there anymore", he asked. Kele searched the surrondings but couldn't see anyone. He then looked at the group and they seemed to have survive the encounter, he noticed a knight on his steed. "I don't say this often, especially to Dark Knights, but thank you for coming to our aid. My name is Kelevandros."

''Maybe you'll not thank me in a second, so what's are you business here? Trying to escape Qualinesti?Spies? You're under arrest until I deliver you to marshal Maden. Any attemp escape will lead you to your death... So say me your bussiness and maybe I'll be more gentle with you pointy-ear...But I need to say that you know how to fight...My name's Kundar'' said Kundar at first angry but now almost happy.

OOC : The strange behavior of Kundar is because i don't like torture so if he see that you are honorable he'll let you go and will do like if nothing had happened, cause the knighthood sometime disgust him, like Marshal Maden

OOC: Good thing you wrote the thing at the bottom was wondering where we were going to go then.

IC: "My name is Kelevandros, we elves have been hired to take care of a small black dragon that resides near here. We are actually on our way to Qualinesti to find a Kagonesti to help us find the dragon. What are you doing so far away from Qualinesti?" said Kele coriously.

''I'm on a patrol, that's all that is your concern. So to verify if what you say is true i'll escort you to that Kagonesti... It doesn't bother me cause I was going to Qualinesti to make my report.I think the green bit... euh his majesty Beryl would be pleased that you erradicate one of Onysablet's minion.''

[Calus]

"Well heres the thing, we aren't looking for a specific Kagonesti, any kagonesti really and we haven't actually killed the drago n yet. We need the kagonesti to take us to the dragon first."

[Midnightstrider]

Mourndomeiel picked up her sword and placed it in the hilt. The glancing at Kundar she said "Kelevandros, the knights have no need to know of our bussiness!"

''It's my duty to make sure that you will really do what you've said so we'll go in Qualinesti, i'll speak to the Marshal and i'll go with you kill the dragon... you don't have any choice, elf...take the good habits of your friend and we should be able to not finish that in a bloodbath, said angrily the dark knight to mourndomeiel

[Calus]

"Do you want to threaten us Kundar? Three elves of which you have seen there skill with bow and sword versus one human and his horse, I don't think that is too good an odds, do you?" Kele said smiling and readied and arrow on to his bow.

OOC: I'm trying to find a good reason to not finish that in a bloodbath, so pardon me if it sound cheesy...

''Please... I don't want to hurt you and you surely don't want to hurt me. Aren't the elves eternal pacifists? Aren't they the chosens of god of light? I have to be reporting at the marshal tomorow morning so let's not tarry here and we should move on, shall we? If i'm not reporting at the marshal tomorow he would find that really strange... maybe now you are three but the odds will soon by at my side...No harm shall be done to you, because like my honorable enemies says ''Ost Solarus Oth Mithas'' said honestly Kundar

Kele laughed, "You speak the truth we are the chosen of the Gods of the Light, but we can kill in defence, and you speak truly of your fellow knights, we do need someone to help us when we get there. The oath you said was close enough. Fine you are welcome to join us."

Kundar smiled''So, it will be an honor for me to fight at your side, let's not tarry here... like I said I need to have the Marshal authorisation before to go,I think he'll accept he owe me a favor.''

[Midnightstrider]

"How can that be your decision Kele!" Mourndomeiel grew very angry, "Remember he is a knight!"

OOC: don't worry papytofu I don't want this end in bloodbath ether ;)

[Calus]

"We have to do this Mourn, there is no other way we can safely get in to Qualinesti without being imprisoned."

Kelevandros led the group into the forest once more, they crossed the river twice and just saw the top of the Keeper of the Sun's magnificient tower. An arrow passed through the trees and landed a hairsbreath from his head, he immediately recognised the arrow as a goblin arrow, turned and pointed his bow in that direction. He let loose his arrow and was satisfied with a scream from a goblin. Kelevandros heard something else as well, a low gluttural and hissing sound, he turned to the group and said, "Goblin and draconians, one of them is definitely a spell caster so watch out."

OOC: Well again you don't know there are this many but we keep fighting in the assumption there is more to come. EC 1 Bozak, 2 Kapaks, 6 Baaz, (10 - 1 = 9) Goblins.

Wait! Maybe they are Beryl's man so I can't attack them it would cause problem to the marshal... awww one more, one less the green bitch will never find that and if there no one to tell it she'll never know that a dark knight killed some of her monstruousity...''said Kundar with a smirk. In a low whisper he said: Cover me, I'll go find them. The dark knight jumped out of his horse and unsheated his sword, ready to fight for his life...

[Midnightstrider]

Mourndomeiel unsheathed her sword "I can not believe I'm fighting beside a knight," she mumbled to herslef.

Progressing in the forest... Kundar saw a little green figure running behind a big tree...'' So they are there...''he tought ''Psst... they are behind this tree...ready your bows. I'm gonna run into them.''whispered Kundar hoping that the elves had better ears than the draconians.

[Calus]

Goblins poured out of the forests, charging the travellers. Kele shot two down and drew his longsword in one swift motion he cut off a goblins head.

''Pesky brats...DIE!!'' Kundar charged a group of three goblin trusting his blade in one of them. Letting his sword in the body he took over the two others goblins and smashed their head on a tree. After this butchery he took his sword from the goblin corpse... ready to charge on the draconians.

OOC : Always wanted to do that... 3 goblins are left... enjoy!

Mourn stabbed the goblin nearest to her and another one behind her.Noteicing there was only one goblin left she killed quickly killed and and prepared to fight the draconians.

OOC: well as seeing as most of you are here.

IC: the 6 baaz charged out of the undergrowth and hit the elves and humans hard, mean while two kapaks turned up one dropping behind Kundar and the other behind Mourn. The gluttural sounds got louder as a burst of flames shot at Kele; Kele manged to shoot a bazz turning him to stone, he jumped out of the way rolled and placed his arrow on the bow string. He pulled his bowstring back and it snapped in his hand, he cursed, threw his bow to a side and charged the baaz with a longsword.

OOC: 1 bozak, 5 baaz and two kapaks left

The Kapak backstabbed Kundar in a bad point, his curving blade covered of his poison. ''arg...you fool...'' With all his energy Kundar swang his sword behind him, hiting the Kapak directly on the head. Stunned, the kapak didn't see the blade of kundar slicing his belly,the kapak explosed in acid. spraying a good amount on Kundar... the armor of Kundar protected him a little but a bad blow touched him in the face... Kundar felled on his knees but he wasn't abandonning the combat slowly moving in direction of a baaz, the sword over his head.'' For Neraka!'' The baaz laughed when he saw Kundar in such a position, but by the time he was guarding his self kundar had time to slice his arm and to trust his sword in the body of the draconian. Petrified, the draconian fell on Kundar who was totally exhausted.

OOC : 1 bozak,5baaz,1 kapak left.

OOC: sorry, i take so long to post, football will be over next thursday.

IC: Krynin standing beside a tree, pulled out his left shamshir then rubbed a trinket on his robes and like lightning was charging at two of the baaz. He slid to a halt behind the two baaz and slashed one across the back of the legs, disableing it from walking. The other baaz noticied him and turned to swing but Krynin was already there slicing it across the chest. Krynin kicked it over, and stabbed it in the back. Turning to the other one, he finished it off.

OOC: Calus said at the begining to just jump right in whenever, as long as we've got a good part to introduce ourselves. I plan on just jumping in now, if you don't mind. If you do mind, well then, kill me ;)

IC: The Dwarf ran, hunched over, following the tracks on the ground. "Blasted mercenaries..." he muttered into his beard, "advertise for something, then leave before anyone has a chance to make it...stupid, bloody mercenaries...oh wait...I'm a mercenary now..." The Dwarf continued to walk, following the tracks, until he crashed head-first into something. "Stupid trees!" he cursed. "Trees and mercenaries, all out to get me..." he looked up, and noticed that he had not, in fact, walked into a tree-he had been so absorbed in his own thoughts, he had walked straght into a baaz Draconian.
"Oh my!" he shouted. Acting on instinct, he swung his axe around, hitting the Baaz in the left leg. Hoping it wasn't part of the mercenary group he was looking for, he pulled the axe out, and jumped backwards, dodging the Baaz's downward swipe. He swung again, this time planting his axe firmly in the gut of his opponent. He withdrew it and sepped backwards, as the Draco turned to stone and fell over in front of him.

OOC: I'll describe myselves when the battle is over...no time for introductions when there are Draconians charging you!

OOC: nice to see you Lord Soth, yes you can jump right in and you are welcome, Talinthas in the top right hand corner of the screen is a little link saying private messages coulc you read it please thankyou. Erm Lord Soth could youintroduce your character by saying name race gender that sort of thing, Talinthas you are welcome to join, but if you just post a question like that you will need to send it by PM (private message) because if everyone did that then the thread will be full of OOCs and as previous threads have shown this KILLS them, so don't do it.
Oh and remember people there is one kapak and a bozak still around as well as the baaz.

IC: Kele spun around and couldn't see anyone in his vicinty, he would have pulled out his bow but the string was burnt and broken, he heard a commotion from behind and jumped toward the noise. He brought his sword into a baaz draconian only to see him stab it at the wrong moment and his sword was stuck, he looked behind the statuette and saw a dwarf with an axe, "Quickly there are draconians aplenty, save the others and watch out for a bozak." just on cue a stream of fire burst once more from the wood but at a different direction, it covered the human Kundar and poured over toward Kele once more, he hid behind the statuette and the fire passed him. he turned to his sword and waited for the baaz to turn into powder.

OOC: Alright, sorry.

IC: Right now all you know is it's a young-looking male dwarf, young looking despite his flowing black beard. He looks very uncertainly and untrustworthily at everyone, his eyes darting around suspiciously. After slaying the Baaz, he just sort of steps back, eyeing everyone carefully.

Using all his last forces kundar stood up on his knee, not even able to take his sword. '' I hate...to...be...weak...pardon me...comrad... ''

[Midnightstrider]

Mourn stabbed her sword in the stomach of the baaz, turning it into stone. Pulling her sword out of the dead baaz she did not see the kundar coming up behind her ready to strike her down.

[Lord Soth]

The Dwarf continued to watch the battle. He saw the human with the armor of a knight of Neraka fall, victim to the Draconian's acid blood. He watched as a Bozak unleashed a fire spell into the forest.
"Damn, how did I get myself into this..." He sighed, pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket. "Oh, right. That's how." Folding the paper and putting it safely away again, he hefted his axe and ran foreward.

The Bozak turned, noticing him. Knowing this was not a good thing, he chucked his axe over his head, straight at the Bozak, and dived behind a bush. His axe hit the Draconian in the chest, and more acid sprayed everywhere. The axe hit the ground, the handle smoldering slightly.

Edit: OOC: Did Bozak's turn to stone upon dieing? I apologize, but I forget if Bozak's always exploded or sprayed acid, or if it had nothing to do with Bozak/Baaz.

OOC: Bozaks explode, kapaks spray acid, and baaz turn to stone

IC: Kele moved swiftly after his sword was released by the crumbling statue, he jumped into combat killing a baaz and stabbing the last kapak in the back before it could hurt Mourn. The spray spurted over his entire bosy, but due to the magical effects of his sword he was not harmed.

OOC: Whoops sorry all draconians are dead.

IC: Kele turned and called to everyone, "right identitfy yourselves you newcomers."

Turning to the sound of a kapak's scream close behind her, she saw Kele covered in acid. "How come the acid does not effect you?" she asked him quite couriously,noticeing he seemed to fine.

'' Yes... how did it doesn't hurt you? But who's speaking? I can't see anything...) mumbled Kundar. The poison began to have his effects on his metabolism..

[Lord Soth]

The Dwarf, noticing everyone was paying attention to the dying knight, coughed nervously. "Erm...hey there...Listen, I don't know if you're who I was supposed to be killing, or the people I'm looking for, but I'm a mercenary for hire, and I may be able to save that man's life if, how shall I say this, the price is right. Here..."
He began patting his pockets, searching himself. "Hold on, I've got it here somewhere...herb-picking is somewhat of a hobby of mine...seeing as how you can sell them...less...hyssop, helps absorb acid from flesh wounds, I know I have some...one more pocket...aha!" Pushing his way forward, he approached the knight. "Now, I've never actually done this before, so...grit your teeth in case it hurts..."

Kele looked at the dwarf, "what is your name? And what are you doing to Kundar?"

[Lord Soth]

The Dwarf stopped, and turned to face the elf who had adressed him. He held out a grubby hand. "Names Tholamin Gemviper," he said. "Although, I suppose you could say Gemviper's more of a...description. See, I come from a long line of theives. My father was a theif, his father was a theif, and his second cousin was a theif. Or something like that, I never really got into history...but, anyways, I was in the area, and I heard that a small group needed help to fight a black dragon, and realized I had a bigger calling in this world. Theiving is fine for some-but me, I'm a mercenary, I just know it! Feels it in my veins," he said. He absentmindedly wiped some sweat from his forehead with the hyssop leaf. "Oh...well, I'm sure it'll still work. See, I've got a bunch of little hobbies...the thief upbringing of mine has taught me to do anything that can make you money, which involves a lot of herb collecting and studying. Now, what do you say? Mind if I join your little band of mercenaries? I shoud warn you though...that Draconian back there...was the first thing I've ever actually killed..."

'' A thief is helping me? Where the world his going... I suppose I should be grateful so... thank to you short-legged...My name is like the elf said, Kundar. I'm now in dept with you...'' said Kundar preparing to grit his tooth... '' Why the dark queen and her priest left us....It was so easy to heal ourselves those days now we must rely on herbs... ''

Mourn eyed the dwarf suspiciously "Are you sure you know what your doing? If that draconian was the only thing you have killed and all we can rely upon is a "feeling your blood" then how are you going to kill a dragon? We are also about to go into elf country you will not be very respected there."

[Lord Soth]

The Dwarf shifted gazes from one elf to the next, and scratched his beard, contemplating how to answer. "Welll...true, that Draconian was my first actual kill...but, I DID kill it, eh? And with little trouble, eh? This may be my first real campaign, but I'm not completely incompetent! I mean, I've trained and all."
He stopped, and his eyes widened. "Wait a minute...did you say Elven lands? We're going into Elven lands? Why? The dragon isn't there, is it?" Oh dear... he thought to himself. I never saw this coming... "Erm...wait, I've got it! If this dark knight is with you, then I can just act like his prisoner! How's that sound?"

OOC: Sorry I kinda stole your idea, but I couldn't think of anything else :p

''You'll not just act like my prisoner... you ARE my prisoner. I said i'm in dept with you but I must also respect my code so. I'll ask the marshal if you could accompaign us... maybe he will be good with you if you help us...So have you finished with those leaves?'' said Kundar tightening his grasp on the arm of the dwarf to make sure he'll not flee.'' Just help me to stand up, you'll ride with me on my horse.''

[Lord Soth]

Tholamin looked horrified at the human. "Wait, I save your life, so your imprisoning me!? I had heard that the knights of Neraka tried to retain some honor...I guess I had heard wrong." He looked over at his axe-the handle had completely been eaten away, and the blade sat alone in a pile of still sizzling acid from when he'd carelessly chucked it at the Bozak. Realizing he had no other option than to go along, he sighed. "Fine, but don't call me short-legs. My legs aren't that short...erm...can you help me onto your horse? It's...abnormally tall, that's all..."

[Calus]

Kele just stood there dumbfounded, everything was happening so fast, first of all the dark knight ws dying on the floor and his plans had taken a deep nose dive, and then a dwarf comes along and heals him; for his helpfulness he is captured :confused: . Kele said to the others, "We might as well make the last couple of hundred feet and see what happens". Kele walked in to Qualinesti to his beautifulcapital city, only to see stone buildings and drunks by a pub. Kele scowled and looked at Kundar, "What have you done to our beautiful city, you have defiled it."

'' What ''I'' have done to your city? Nothing, what those little mercenaries calling themselves Knight of Neraka have done to your city that's an other question. I know that someone really need to repair what have been done to our Knighthood and it isn't that Targonne who'll do that. I've tought of joining Solamnic but i'm not from Solamnia and they'll consider me like a spy also I'm loyal to the marshal. And Sir dwarf, I just take you for formalities I'm sure the marshal will accept your help to kill that dragon. So let's go to the marshal mansion.All my apologies if I've been rude with you... After a litle crawl in the city, the group were at the entry of the Marshal's mansion. A guard was behind the gate. '' Ah... Kundar, my friend... the marshal had been worried about you. Who's the ones with you?'' said the guard.

-''Hello Brad,they'll will come with me see the marshal. They have been recruted to kill a black dragon so I wanted to ask to lord Medan if it's ok.''responded Kundar

-''Sure thing... you may enter but you'll need to give me all your weapons.They'll be waiting for you when you'll go out of here''said Brad looking suspiciously to the companions of Kundar.

Kundar gave his longsword to Brad.

[Calus]

Kele held onto his bow and sword and then thought better of it, he hadned ver his weapons.

[Prevail]

Krynin, just following the group not saying anything. Not wanting people to hate him, for his sarcasm. When the guard asked for their weapons, Krynin looked at the guard then to his swords then back to the guard. " I'm not doing it, I'm not letting him hold my weapons."

[Midnightstrider]

Mourn had to think for a minuite on weather to hand over her weapons. She looked over at Kele who handed over his weapons, she had trusted Kele, but this is where she drew the line. Her sword was her pride and joy and she would not just hand it over. She handed the knight her bow, but grasped her sword tightly. "You can take my bow but, I am the only one who lays a hand on my sword."

'' Let them go, Brad, I'm confident of them and take me responsible if they do something...'' said Kundar wishing from the bottom of his heart that the guard would let them pass.

OOC : Calus do you want to roleplay Medan?

Krynin eyed the guard then looked towards Kundar. " Kundar lets go, and get this over with."

[Calus]

OOC: Yeah why not. :D

IC: kele heard what Kundar said and picked up his bow and long sword again. Placed them on and walked into the hall with Kundar and everyone else. "How dare you come into my hall armed", shouted a booming voice. Guards appeared on either side of the hall. "Is that youKundar if it is then explain yourself and quickly."

''Yes, it's me marshal. I'm back from my patrol with those man. I'm confident of them and I take all responsability of them. Sir, they came here to kill a black dragon. This dwarf helped us after. So I'm here to have the permission to go with them and that they will not be emprisonned. They come for help us. I'm sure the green bitch will be pleased if will kill an Onysablet's minion...Sorry that they are armed they wouldn't have came here if they wasn't and the dwarf here saved my life after a draconian raid.'' said Kundar kneeling to the marshal.

[Calus]

"A draconian raid? Why haven't I heard of this?" said Medan looking around at his officials. "You are welcome to join them Kundar, but this had better be a black dragon that you are after not one of Beryls."
Kele said, "It is General Medan, he is a black called Sulphuric."
Medan thought for a moment, "I am pretty sure that isn't one of Beryls so by all means go and kill it. Plus I like you elf, you can talk to me when ever you like." Medan stood up and looked at Kendar, "May you live through this and we will see each other again, your friends won't be imprisoned and you are free to walk out. Now go quickly before any of the Black's spies contact Sulphuric." Medan walkd out of the hall, and left the group standing where it was.
Kele turned to the assembled groups well lets find us a kagonesti then.

'' For that part I think you are the best placed... Let's meet at midnight at the gate. I need to go prepare myself and to go say goodbye at my family.Is it okay?'' said Kundar with a smile when he was thinking of his family.

[Calus]

"Yes that is fine," Kele turns to the rest of the group and says, "Ok everyone you are looking for a kagonesti elf, we are to meet Kundar at Midnight at the gate."

OOC: Could someone control the Kagonesti when we meet him.

OOC : I'll be the kagonesti because in the time you'll meet him, Kundar will be at his home with his family.

IC : Kundar walked in the city to his home, his wife waiting for him at the doorstep with his three childs : two vigourous teenagers and a cute little girl. Seeing them he ran and hugged them all...

"Hmm...a Kagonesti elf? Where do we find one o' them?" grumbled the Dwarf. "Erm...and can any of you do me a bit of a favor? I need a weapon...my axe is corroding in a pile of acidic Draconian blood back where I met you...we're in this together, right? ...Right?"

[Calus]

Kele turned to the dwarf, "Well we might as well get your axe, while we look for a kagonesti." Kele walked outside and started wandering through the city, she spotted a weapons store, "You might want to try in there."

[Prevail]

Krynin followed the group, " I'm gonna check around, the part of the city i'm use to." He said. " See you's at midnight." Walking down the street, looking at the changed city. Krynin turned down an alley, rubbed a silver trinket on his robes, and dissapeared. Walking down the alley turning left and right down the winding path, Krynin reached a gate. Krynin climbed the gate and stood on top, from there he jumped to a window ledge. Climbing on top of the building, he rubbed the trinket again and was visable. Running across the roof he pulled his cloak up to his nose, and jumped acroos a dip in the mansion to another part of the roof. He stopped and lowered himself into a window, Krynin stood and surveyed the room.

Noticeing she was the only one left where the group was at one time, Mourn set off looking for a kagonesti. She figured to pub would be busy so she cheaked in there. She was right, it was very busy but mostly with knights, there were only a few elves, all of wich were qualinesti. "This is nearly impossible", she sighed and walked out of the pub to search some more.

[Calus]

Kele had stopped he looked around the streets and didn't see a single Kagonesti, he stood on the spot and turned around, he saw the same buildings and the same roads. He stopped suddenly and looked up to see the Tower of the Sun poking above the trees.
Kele walked into the tower and lo and behold a kagonesti butler answered the door, "Yes sir?"
"I actually wanted to speak to you, I need to get in contact with your leader. It is about the black Sulphuric", Kele whispered. The kagonesti butler, looked either side of him to check no one was watching, "Quickly come in."
Kele stepped inside and the Kagonesti said, "Right this is what is going to happen you are to meet me at the gate at midnight, you will meet our leader then. Understood?"
"Understood", said Kele as he was taken outside. Kele then met up with the group minus Kundar and Prevail (OOC: whoops forgotten name) he told them of the Kagonesti. He then waited for Midnight, which was only an hour away, at the gate.

''Hello my lords ,a lovely night isn't it?How was your research ,have you found a Kalinesti?'' said Kundar walking at the gate, a new sword tilting on his belt and his armor all refurbished like a new... if it wasn't a new...His hair and his beard were cleanly cut. '' It was tought to go, I love so much my family. I would do anything for them. May I ask you if you have a family too?'' said Kundar in a really happy mood.

[Calus]

Kele was just about to answer Kundars question when he asked about Kele's parents. "They were killed by Dark Knights, when they first took Qualinesti." Kele then walked off slightly from the group.

[Lord Soth]

Tholamin grinned. "You may of heard of my dad, the great Fruros Gemviper, a master theif. Taught me what I know today. Like how to get a weapon-smith to pay to give you one of his own axes, and tells you to keep the change, too." He smiled to himself, then realized Kele standing away from them, and what he had said fully formed in his brain. "Ouch, lad...I'm sorry to hear that..." he glared at the knight, half hatefully, half pittifully, and hoisted his new axe over his shoulder. "Er...shall we, umm...erm...get going then?"

''It's part of war that man die... Was him a figther? Because I know that inoccent people died because of the stupid new recruits of this army.I'm so ashammed of that, but know that the solamnic aren't so much better.'' said kundar with a grim face.'' and sorry mister dwarf but I don't know your father, maybe it's better like that.'' joked Kundar. ''We shall move on now.''

"This is the next point, as we are meeting the Kagonesti leader here", said Kele, walking back to the others with a Kagonesti walking with him. The elf nodded to Kele and ran through the woods. "That was the leader of the Kagonesti, he told me Sulphuric belongs to Sable (OOC: Normally elves say the full name but I forgot it :) ) the black is in a cave to the north West. We must go now."

[Midnightstrider]

"Shouldn't we get the nessary provisions before we go, like food? I wouldn't mind takeing a bath ether. I think Tholamin might need one as well." Mour said as she sniffed the air, "We also have to wate for krynin so we should have time."

[Prevail]

Krynin stood by the window, he saw a door by the far corner. Pulling out one of his shamshirs he opened the door a cracked and looked through. He saw a guard on the other side, he opened the door and slit the guards throat, pulled him back and in to the room. Krynin slowing and quietly shut the door, walking down the hall trying to remember which door it was. He reached the end of the hall, and saw it a blue door with swirling paterns on it. Krynin rubbed the trinket on his vest again and was gone. He opened the door and walked around a bit, the old man in the chair smiled. " I knew you'd be back, it was just a matter of time." Said the elder. " Shut up old man, before I cut your head off!" Snapped Krynin. The old man chuckled, "still sad aren't you."

[Calus]

"Ok", said Kele. "We will wake for Krynin."

[Prevail]

Krynin rubbed the trinket again and reappeared, standing right in front of the old man. "Shut up you don't know what your talking about." Said Krynin. " Oh but I do, your sad over your wife's death aren't y.... Like lightning Krynin drew his sword and sliced at the old mans neck but his sword cut right through the air. He looked and the old man was gone, but there was a small bit of blood on his sword. Then looking over and saw a shadow in the corner, " Who are you!" Krynin yelled.

IC: Kele waited with the others patiently walking around, waiting for Krynin to show his face.

"Yes it has been near three years now hasn't it. I have been good, better than before." Said Valas then he walked closer to Krynin and said,"I believe there are some people waiting for you to return shall we leave now".

Krynin nodded and headed out the door, "We better get out 0f here. You just turned their boss into nothing." Krynin walked down the hall, through the room, and out the window. Walking across the roof, he turned and lept onto a wall walking across it until he came to the group. Krynin jumped down and introduded Valas to the group. "Guys this is my friend Valas."

Kele looked around at the newcomer and Krynin. "Where the bloody hell have you been, it has passed midnight. Oh", he looked at the newcomer and looked him up and down. "Hello Valas, what exactly are you?"

Hello sirs, we've been waiting dor you for hours.What the hell were you doing?'' said Kundar with an hint of anger. ''Those elves, always thinking that they are better than everyone...Chosen of light eh...'' thought Kundar

"Pardon me what do you mean what am I. I don't understand?"

[Calus]

"I mean what are you? are you a mage or cleric, or someone that wears a cloak? Actually we don't have time for this lets get moving, talk as we go, we have a little trek before us." Kele said pointing towards the path, and when everyone started moving he followed from behind just to keep an eye out for this Valas.

[Midnightstrider]

"yes lets be off," Mourn said then turned her gaze towards Kundar, "Ever think that there is a reason why elves are better? Knights are a perfect example."

It was like if the elf had read in his toughts, '' No I ever thought a second that elves were better than anyone, they are just like any others. Dwarf,elf,human,kender,gnome all the same I say, it's honor that make the difference. And yes, I've just said that elves are just like kender or draconian, even OGRE, yeah I said you aren't better than an ogre!'' Kundar was amused to tease the elf like that, but he knew that what he was saying was true. After all those years of warfare experience.

''We need to do a formation, I suggest that Kelevandros lead us, any objections? I'll take the rear-guarding post.

"I really do not think letting you take the rear guard would be so wize after all when it comes down to honor, kinghts are no better then gully dwarves or trolls, even if they think otherwize." Mourn was prepared for a battle of wits, in her eyes what she said was true, even if she tried to hide her amused smile.

[Prevail]

Kryinin walked with his head down, staring down at the ground. Not paying attention to Mourn and Kundar fighting, he was thinking about what the old man had said. How did he know I would be back, I was suppose to be dead. And what was Valas doing there.

What Mourn said was more than what Kundar could accept : '' Never insult my honor or you'll have to talk with my blade! Isn't it bad to have prejudice? But that all that you have it seems. I think that you are one hundred time worst than one of those knight without honor after sixty mug of dwarven spirit. You think you know what is honor? If you knew what is it you would be dead trying to defend Qualinesti from our assault or you would have win and i would be the one to be dead. I think that our occupation in your country is the best thing that never happen for you... Now you will learn how is the world. It's sure that many knight aren't honorable but never say that again about me or the marshal and at least 20 brave veterans that I know personnally. What were you doing in the chaos war? We're the one who save you. I saw chaos with my eyes... Can you say something like that about yourself? If i were a solamnic, would you say the same thing? '' Kundar was literally in rage.

There were no words in elvish or the tounges of men that could satisfy the rage building up inside Mourn. How could he have the nerve to say such things! He had no idea what she has gone though and the elves were compleatly fine without knights roaming their lands! Mourn looked at Kundar with extream haterid and sped up her pase.

[Calus]

Kele stopped as soon as he said about Qualinesti; when Kundar said about Chaos he turned around. "You crippled us, we would have fared alot better if we didn't have to worry about the Knights of Takhisis (OOC: remember when Knights took over Qualinesti they were of Takhisis not Neraka) as well as Chaos. We knew of the impending danger of Chaos, we were preparing, but you were unexpected that was why we fell easier than you would have. So do not mention Chaos or the Occupation of Qualinesti around me again." He breathed heavily and looked at the group, he turned around and walked along the path further along.

In the underbush, something laughed, it laughed and ran off into the forest to tell his friends what he found.

''Sorry to stop our argument but did you hear that? Something laughed, prepare yourself to combat. I think it can be some goblins, watch out for poisoned arrows!'' Said kundar unsheating his new blade.The blade seemed to be a real piece of art, with jewels incarved in it, there was something magic about this blade.

[Prevail]

Krynin rubbed a trinket on his cloak and drew his shamshirs, him and his swords lighter from the enchantment of his trinket. "I'm going to follow it, i'll be back." Krynin dashed over the brush and was gone into the forest. Running as fast as he could he chased the goblin gaining on it, he tripped on a root but flew at the goblin stabbing it in the back as Krynin rolled across the ground. He stood up and saw the goblin limping away, Krynin rubbed the other trinket and dissapeared. He walked up to the goblin and pulled his sword out if its back, then he followed it to it's camp.

[Calus]

OOC: Prevail how did you manage to pull the sword out of his back, and the goblin not noticing and carrying on to his camp? That post was confusing, nevermind.

IC: Kele sighed as he saw Krynin once more running off. He continued further along the trail. "The goblin has disappeared, and I am sure Krynin will be back soon with news of the goblin. We might as well continue on and remember we have enough elves here to pick out any goblins from any direction."

The goblin stumbled on trying to run for his life, he broke through the underbrush and reached his comrades, a great host of goblins, draconians, humans and spawn were ammassed. The goblin continued on and a quarter of the camp turned to see their comrade stagger into camp, they saw the blood and they all felt and tasted blood on their tongues. They ran towards the goblin, one spawn said "Where?", the goblin pointed backwards "The path" was all the goblin could say he collapsed and died in front of them.
A small contigent of soldiers broke off from the camp, 4 spawn, 10 draconians and 14 goblins. They moved swiftly through the underbrush, moving around trees and ducking branches; the group reached the road and saw a small group (that is us btw) in the distance. The group ran along the side of the road until they were closer and then charged the unfortunate group, letting out snarls, roars and battle cries.

OOC: Have fun :D Remember the spawn are really hard so know easy kills with them, they are black spawn btw and so will spit acid and have acidic blood. The draconians are only Baaz. Please use the EC as well it will make our lives easier (if you have one at the end of this hee hee)

''That's what I call a battle, be brave friends!Show me that Elves are better than any other race. Ya heard that you big bastards?Those are the chosen of light, you are better to be prepared for them!'' Kundar was trying to keep himself calm

''For honor and for those beautiful woods!'' kundar charged onthe baaz, his new sword set aflame ''Feel the touch of Brave-fire!'' Kundar knew that if he killed a baaz his sword would be emprisoned in the corpse, so he just touched two draconians making them catch in fire. The two draconians rolled on the ground trying to stop the fire, but the fire was two strong and they perished.''

EC : 4 spawn,8 draconians,14 goblins, this will be a long combat...

[Midnightstrider]

Mourn knew that she and the other elves would prove to Kundar, this battle and many battles ahead, that elves were better! Almost like a reflex she withdrew her sword and impailed and oncomeing goblin in the stomach. She withdrew her sword and turned, beaheading another goblin. She watched the head fall to the ground and looked up to see and draconian chargeing at her. She ducked to avoid a blow from it's sword, and stabbed it in the back. It fell to the ground, sword still in it's back. Pulling hard, she tryed to free it, but it didn't move. She did not notice a draconian coming at her from behind.

EC: 4 spawn, 7 draconains, 12 goblins

[Calus]

Kele readied his bow, and shot several arrows off before the goblins and other allies managed to reach the group. Kele jumped back and shot a few more arrows off killing a baaz and wounding a spawn.

OOC: 4 spawn, 6 draconians and 7 goblins.

Kundar charged on the baaz that was behind Mourn, slowly unsheating a curved blade. The flaming blade beheaded the Baaz in one blow. '' It seems that chosens of light don't have eyes behind their heads.'' said kundar with a teasing smile to the elf. '' That's one point for the lesser races. Sorry m'lord but I've got goblin to kill''

Spoting three goblins who were fleeing the battlefield, the black knight ran before them chopping the legs of one and beheading an other in a diagonal swing. With his free hand he took the other one by the neck. '' That shall teach you and your friends some kind of honor.Coward'' Kundar throwed the goblin on a tree, his neck broke.


OOC : 4 spawn, 5 draconians and 4 goblins

Ignoreing Kundars remark Mourn withdrew her bow and strung two arrows to it. As she pulled back the string, she bacame aweare of the cries of their dieing foes. She let her arrows fly killing two goblins. She let another arrow go and hit a draconian between the eyes. She turned and aimed and arrow past Kundars head and hit a draconian about to strike him. "Thought I would reaturn the favour", she smilied.

OOC:4 spawn, 3 draconians and 2 goblins

OOC: I think we need some spawn power :D

IC: The spawn that Kele injured drew back it's head and sprayed a large spray of acid across the adventurers, Kele cowered as he saw the acid coming towards him. The tiny black blobs struck him, he was covered; yet he felt nothing, he stood up slightly confused and then remembered his sword, it protected againist acid.
The rest of the spawn then focused on Kele, he hadn't been affected by the acid, they thought. The spawn charged at Kele, he managed to kill one spawn and was overwhelmed by superior numbers and superior beings; Two spawn raked their claws across his chest and back, while a third bit into his shoulder. Kele screamed in pain and shock as he felt the acid in his blood, although it had no affect on him, the feeling of the alien substance in his blood didn't help his predicament.

Seeing that the odds were turning, the draconians and the goblins regrouped. They took a line formation in front of the group. The spawns regrouped to cover the other side. The adventurers group were now trapped at the center of the battlefield. '' Eh, chosens of light, do you know what we should do now? We're kinda trapped...'' said Kundar trying to keep his calm. Why the gods are never there when they should be.?..And why I haven't learn mysticism like my commander suggested me.''

[Midnightstrider]

"Accually, oh honorable knight, I figured you might have a plan, with alllll your expearince in war," Mourn shot Kundar a warning glance, "And the gods never abandoned us!" Stringing and arrow to her bow she prepared herself for the worst.

''Sure, I would have a plan, but this plan would only be possible if I was with well trained warrior which isn't the case...'' Kundar was smiling, if he was to die today, he would have a good person to argue with. The black knight was following the moves of the spawns with the tip of his sword. Speaking in qualinesti he said : '' Wait to see what they'll do. Search for some breach, like this big branch just over their head. If we find a way to make that branch fall on them, we would be saved.''

Just now, he saw than two spawns were fighting with Kele, so Kele was not cornered but in danger... '' M'lord chosen of light, could you ,please, shoot this arrow right on one of the spawns who's threatening master kelevandros? Lord Kelevandros find a way to cut this branch just after Lord Mourn... don't-remember-the-end-of-his-name shoot one of your enemy'' shouted Kundar in a well-spoken elven.

[Prevail]

Krynin saw the group of creatures pass him, and had folowed them as he watched the fight, but the now that the tides had turned he decided to help. Still invisable he decided to use his lightning speed against the spawn, both trinkets being used he lined up with the spawn and ran straight across the line slashing them all deep across the chest. "That should slow them down while you's attack he yelled!" Krynin leaped across to the line of draconians and goblins, he rubbed one trinket and was visable again. Pulling out his other shamshir he beheaded the last two goblins.

''Thanks a lot!'' Kundar thrown his sword on the nearest baaz. Perforing him in a arc of fire. Kundar charged on a second baaz, crushing his jaw with a blow, after he disarmed the baaz and cut his throat with his small blade. He took back his magic sword ready to fight another foe.

'' We are wining the battle friends! Do not shalter!''

Kele fought as hard as he could, his sword useless to kill with as there was enough room to move it; but he kept it contact with him as it was the only thing that was stopping the acid from killing him. Another jaw clenched onto his shoulder as he struggled with the three spawn; Kele wiggled his body and was able to hit the spawn in the head, knocking the spawn back dazed and leaving a tooth behind buried in his shoulder. Another claw racked along his chest, but this time, the claw caught the hilt of the enchanted blade and ripped it out of the elf's hand. Kele scream rent the air, as he felt the acid from the tooth in his shoulder worked itself around the body; Kele landed on the floor, his body convulsing and spasming, his sword lying only a few inches away.

''Damn spawn! Stop to fight just one man cowards! Fight me too. You'll perish by my blade'' Kundar charged aiming over the nose of one of the aberations.The venomenous blood hurting his face, the spawn fall dead on the ground. Kundar moved himself just between kele's body and the two last spawn. The last baaz was behind a tree searching for an easy foe in the group...

Mourn ran behind the spawn that threatened to take the lives of her friends. Trying to take the attention away from Kundar and Kele, Mourn shot an arrow in the back of one of the spawns heads. It turned towards her, apparently her shot had only done half the damage she hoped it would have. She dodged it as she snapped at her. She then hit it in the head once more, and it fell to the ground, lifeless.

a centaur came flying into the battle slicing into the spawn that was on Kele. The spawn fell onto Kele dead, but the centaur assisted him by lifting it off. He was a very built Centaur with armored chest plates and a helmet. He carried a battle axe and a crossbow. He had a strap holster on his back for his axe aND A WAIST HOLSTER ON THE HORSE PART OF HIMSELF where his crossbow now sat. He had a wrist band of darts for his crossbow. he had horns coming out of his helmet. He had green eyes that could scare even the strongest of warriors. "Are you injured?" He then turned to the Baaz that hadjumped out of the tree to attack them he quickley fired an array of arrows into the baaz. it fell to the ground dead. He looked around having saved this band of adventurers he had no initiation of staying but found fighting along side them was exciting and a rush of adrenaline. so he thought to himself i might just convince them to let me travel with them.

Mourn ran froward and knelt beside Kele. Looking up at Jackolius she offered him her hand, "I am Mourndomeiel, elf of Qulinsati." She looked down at Kele worridly, "We will speak more of our quest later, but first we must hurry and find a cleric"

Krynin was standing away from the group wiping the blood from his shamshirs, he put them away and walked over to the centaur. "The name is Krynin, thanks for your help." Krynin said in his mellow voice. Krynin picked up Kele's sword and handed it to Mourn, "The sword seemed to protect gim from acid maybe it will stop the pain, so we can get him to a cleric."

ooc: Jackolius may seem a little errigant and demanding but that is exactly wut a centaur is. they are always expecting life to heed to them so i incorporate that into my character.

As Kele was passed his sword, he felt his pain being released, he stopped convulsing and sigh gently. His breathing fell back to normal and his heart grew quieter, his eyes opened as he felt himself bobbing up and down in a rythmic fashion. "Where... where did we get the horse? Where are we going?"

In all of his years of fighting and killing this was the first group of beings he had rescued and this Kele was the first he had ever rescued and assisted to a place of recovery. Could this be a turning point in his life or just a nother unsuspected wall that he will go around and go back to normal, or as normal as he could return to. These days nothing feels right, at least not until he had done this.

Rejoining the group, Kundar also asked how Kele was feeling. '' I know a good healer, a little bit crazy but he should do the trick. He live in this forest, he fled the nerakian army when he saw that our army was beginning to get corrupt. I helped him in his escape, I think he still owe me a favor. The Centaur kept trotting along listening to the fellow travelers ask Kele if he was ok, wondering why his men didn't do the same for each other in the battle of arsus. They just stood there yelling get up you baffoon and fight to honor the centaurs. When Kele was down his friends protected him, they didn't yell at him and dishonor him. The Centaur was in deep thought when Kundar mentioned the healer and Jackolius came back to the task at hand "I don't want to assume leadership here but i thik it best we consider all possibilities before jumping to a conclusion like some crazy healer in a forest somewhere, sorry don't mean to doubt you but a day's walk? I don't even know if he will make it that long. besides some crazy healer in a forest is kind of suspicius but we can try it if you wish. I know why don't we make a quick voteyay if we should nay if we shouldn't.

While Jackolius waited for everyone to decide on their vote he pondered on wut he should do. If he travels with these people he would need to run by his cabin first and get his other stuff. If he travels with them that would mean he would be a part of a group again, which is almost unbearable bc it brings back memories of his previus army and wut he did or better yet wut he didn't do. He thought to himself maybe i should give it a go they seem like nice people though i know nothing about them.

Mourn glanced down at her sword hilt, once again occupied by her sword. After a few tries she was able to withdraw it from the dead draconian that held on to it so tightly. Her gaze fell back upon Kele. "I don't know if I trust him, but Jackoliusis right, we must find help as soon as possable," she looked at Kundar hopeing he understood.

OOC : You should read the thread,lucksterjr, my character is a nerakian veteran whose not prideful of what had become the chivalry these days. The rest of the group don't trust me so much cause I'm a dark knight, but I'm one of the more honorable knight in the dark army. I serve the Medan who's one of my best friend. I have a rivalry with Mourn who have really bad prejudice about dark knight and I never stop to tease him. We are on a quest to eradicate a black dragon who's terrorising some villages of the Qualinesti.

Damn fairies messing wit hthe enviroment and nature. there are too many trees over there. by this time he had been away from the group for about a day and had ran at full gallop all the way to his cabin. he noticed the bricks he had layed many years before that led through this enchanted forest and straight to his cabin he started to follow them when his senses picked up a group of something, smelled like draconians, following him. he would leed them to the cabin where he had home field advantage.

Kalarin frowned when he heard about Kele, he looked at him, and said, "Quick put him on Matilda, she is quicker than you lot and she can go ways we can't."
Kalarin ignored their strange looks, once kele was on Matilda's back he enchanted a small piece of vine to grow around Matilda, holding Kele down againist her. Matilda walked off, and Kalarin looked turned around to the group, "I am fine, I have everything I need, apart from one thing, a special herb called Casado, it is green with a purple headed flower. I will be able to heal him totally with that. The last time I saw it was when I ran into a kender, well it was easy to know where it is, his name was Scrounger something. After Matilda has put him in the Pool, she is going to come to us and we are going to find the herb."
kalarin then just stood there patiently awaiting his companion, a few minutes passed and Matilda crept silently into the clearing, he slipped onto her back and she started to walk, in the direction of the Centaur's hut.

Jackolius went into his cabin and looked around. Home at last. He went over to a chest sitting in the corner. He opened it and pulled out two bags. He put some religius study books, armor polisher adn cleaner, adn some survival tool into these bags. He pulled out an enchanted long narrow box and strapped it to the top part of his horse half. He then reached in and pulled out another long narrow box, not enchanted, and strapped it to his waste. It resembled a sword holster. He then pulled out an amulet and put it on. At this point he shut the chest adn got to his feet. He used his sense t odiscover that the draconians had come extrememly close and were probably waiting to ambush him right out side. He also still sensed the other creature out there it was still a mystery on wut it was. He drew his Axe and opened the door...

Scrounger heard a sound and turned to see the centaur open the door to his cabin holding an axe. Then, out of the corner of his eye he saw a draconian approaching. He was barely able to block its swing with his short sword. :eek:

As Jackolius opened the door he saw wut looked like a person, sorta. The moment this new creature opened the door a draconian came flying out from the brush and attacked the creature. The Creature blocked the Draconians attack swiftly and got into the braw with the Draconian. Jackolius saw six more draconians com out of the brush towards him. Jackolius wipped out his crossbow and got two shots off before they reached him, He was fast but not fast enough. as the other four reached him he dropped the crossbow and unsheathed his axe. He landed a genius swing in the chest of one of the draconians and pulled it out quickly. He then dodged around the other three. He turned around and met 7 more draconians face to face.

Valas saw the seven draconians running at the centaur. He said a few arcane words and a fireball flew from his hand and exploded infront of two of them slowing the rest.

Mourn ran after Kalarin and Matilda. "I want to help! I'll work to the best of my abilities!" she promised.

Jackolius dodged the attack of one of the draconians and swung his axe in the direction of the other draconians. He then saw another creature come in. this one was from the group he must have followed me. He then threw his axe at a draconian who was coming up behind the new creature. He was now weaponless adn he pu;;ed out a sword that was in a box that was strapped to his side adn used it to dice up a nother draconian.

BIC : ''I'll help too!Even if my help cannot be like the one of a chosen of light like you. But euh, Mourn... I wanted to say that I respect you a lot now. Valas saw that the centaur was now unarmed so he said a few more words and a ball of lightning shot out towars one draconian and when it hit it expanded and snaked out to hit two more.He was about to cast another spell when two draconians came out of nowhere and sent him flying into a tree.

Matilda gently plonked along toward the centaur's cabin, Kalarin looked at the rest of the group, "Where does he think he is going? he doesn't know where the kender is, matilda is following his scent. One of you might want to go after him."

Krynin rubbed the trinket and like lightning was running over to help the centaur, pulling out both shamshirs he ran passed the draconian with both swords out to the side cutting the draconians side open.

Scrounger blocked another attack from the draconian. He then jumped up and swung at its neck, successfully chopping its head off. He then rushed in to attack another draconian.

Jackolius turned around to see 6 more Draconians coming out of some brush. "grrrr!! don't they ever stop." He swung wildly at two others trying to back them up so he could take control of the situation....

Valas looked up to see a huge draconian heading strait at him he said one word and disappeared just in time and reappeared to see the draconian struggling to pull his axe out of the tree where he had been sitting.Valas turned to help Jackolius he said some more arcane fraises and another fireball scorched three more draconians.Valas saw five more come out of the trees behind the centaur.Where are they all coming from he wondered,as he started a new spell.

Krynin saw the fireballs and used them to his advantage, as the fireballs distacted a few draconians Krynin put one shamshir away and and ran at them. Stabbing one in the back, he pulled it out and slashed away at the backs of the draconians. The fell over grasping at their backs bleeding to death.

OK, I think i'll go after him! When you've find the kender get here! Kundar heard the sounds of a battle near of here : ''I think the duty call me!'' Kundar charged at the sound.

IC: Matilda walked on, she circled around onto a path and slowly walked along it, Kalarin heard the battle ahead, he told Matilda, and she ran.
Matilda was a jugernaut she passed through a group of draconians hitting them to the ground, her claws killing all of them, meanwhile Kalarin used his powers to control the flora. Vines pun from trees and bushes wrapping draconians and friends alike, Entangle had worked, but too well as only Matilda and Kalarin were able to move.

Mourn had followed Kundar towards the sound of the battle. Once on the battle sene she was about to strike a draconian with his back turned to her, but found herslef intangeld in vines. She glanced around and saw that her friends, as well as the dracoanians were unable to move. She noticed only the bear and Kalarin were free from the vines. He betrayed us, she thought angerly to herself.

''ARGGG!!!! Kalarin, what have you done! I'm entangled. But...wait a sec....'' Kundar's sword set aflame, burning rapidly the vines that was entangling him without hurting him. After being able to move Kundar set aflame many of the draconians vegetals cocoons, consuming them one by one.After he killed 10 or more draconians by this way, his sword lost his fire and he cut down the vines that was imprisoning more. ''Are you okay m'lady? I don't think Kalarin is a traitor, he just can be impotent some times... like in the old days...''Kundar smiled on turned around investigating if some draconians were always there. ''Sir Jackolius, do you know why some much draconians are near your cabin?We are losing a precious time, our friend kele need our help we afford to lose time with some stupid butchery!Kalarin where are you? I cant see you with all those vines!''shouted kundar

Mourn smilied as Kundar helped her up. They had now know each other for a long time, but they were already speaking like old friends. She began cutting the rest of their group down from the vines, when she cut down someone smaller then the rest. "I found the kender!" she called.

Matilda leaped over the vines and landed next to the kender, which Mourn had discovered. "Good work elf, now Scrounger, give me the herbs that you 'borrowed' from me. It is important."

Krynin stood there looking at the group in slight amusment as they tried to get organized, He leaned against the tree waiting for them to decide what they were going to do. Krynin looked up at the sky and saw that it was darkening, "So what are we going to do, better decide quickly the night is approaching. It also looks like it might rain, I know I don't want to be standing here when the sky opens up." Krynin said. For once in this whole journey Krynin thought that he might have to step up if they were ever going to kill or even reach the dragon Sulphuric.

Kalarin gave up with the kender, he patted Matilda gently on the shoulder; she reared up and brought her claws slicing along the kender's chest, blood splattered across the brown fur, staining the rich chocloate colour. Matilda roared and bit down on the side of the kender's neck crushing the neck and stilling the scream that coursed through his blood soaked body.
Kalarin reached down and picked up the kender's pouches, and found what he was looking for, a glass vial with a weedy looking plant in it.
He looked around at the assorted group and said, "Right then back to Kelevandros."

''I see you haven't lost the old manner of a knight of takhisis...'' said kundar disguted by what he just saw. He kept his hand near his sword.

Krynin looking at the dead kender, shifted his eyes to the bear. Here I thought it was lazy, the kender was bite size compared to the bear. I'm gonna keep on eye on that bear, one of us could be next. Krynin thought to himself. Forcing a smile his face, "Was that necesary, you could of asked for it, then if he still didn't give it to you then you could have sicked your monster on him.

Mourn stared at Kalarin in horror. "I want Kele to be healed as much, maybe even more, then anyone here, but that was no way to ask the kender politely!" He had just given Mourn another reason to distrust him.

''Kalarin what was the big idea in that?Taking one life to save another... that's just plain stupid. Wasn't you the one who deserted the knighthood because it was to rude? You'll need some serious explanation to me after you healed my friend. Don't waste time please or you will have another meaningless death on the mind.''

I don't like this. We could be next. Valas thought keeping an eye on the bear.

Jackolius stood there in amazement at the sight of the dead Kendar. He looked over at the bear and the traitor who had ordered the attack. Wut the hell did you do that for??? He would have given it to you!!! I will let this attack of that beast go but if that thing turns on me or any one else i will kill it and you adn trust me i will come out without a scratch, oh and just to prove it..." Jackolius reared up adn landed its front two hooves straight through the skull of the bear. He looked over at the rider "Why wait, right??? Lets get moving." At this he smiled and and looked at the others. "i apologize if this is not wut you wanted but i am not taking my chances with a beast that could simply take me in my sleep."

Krynin stood there, looking at the dead bear and kender and for some reason his stomach turned. "Can we start moving, I'm starving and night is approaching. We beter get back to where ever it is you live cleric." With that said, Krynin stood beside Jackolius waiting to get moving.

He didn't have to worry abotu an attack from behind bc he made it very clear that if oyu attack him from behind his senses will pick yo uup and then he will nail you with hiws rear hooves.

"Was there really a need to kill the bear?"Mourn was shocked by Jackolius' actions, "you have just given him a reason not to help Kele!" Mourn looked at the kender and the bear. The kender had not even said to words to them and the bear was ordered to kill the kender. She began to feel sick to her stomach, and dizzy. She tried walking over to a tree for support but fainted.

i wasn't going ot take any chances with getting anyone else hurt, besides he should have thought about the life of his damn bear before he had it attack the kendar. besides why should it matter if he helps him or not we have plenty of magic users here and we havce that weeed now so lets get moving so we can help our friend.

Jackolius couldn't help but smile at Valus' actions. He was growing quite fond of the whole group but Valus was different. He had made a very good impression on Jackolius and he wasn't going to forget that.

As Krynin's his stomach was settling, he watched as Valas walked over to him. "Valas, I don't think were ever going to reach this dragon. Yes Kele is important, but I want to kill what I was sent for. If we don't get on the way, the dragon could do alot more damage before we would know it." Krynin talked in a whisper, he didn't want the others to think he didn't care if Kele recovered. He did but more lives were at stake here, he shook his head and looked at the group.

jackolius sighed bc his excellent hearing heard wut was jsut said, and the problem was he was right. "Alrihgt, listen we have a choice, we can either all go to our friend adn help him which would give the dragon more time and power to do wut he wants. or we could split up ad nsome go to our friend and the rest go adn find this dragon. After the our friend is healed yo ucna come find us adn help us, if we need it. or we could jsut let our fallen friend die s owe can use all of our remaining power to get this job over with. i personnally think we should split but i am not in charge here." He looked at the group hoping ot get a respoinse from someone. " If we split i am going for the dragon."

"I think your right Jackolius, not all of us are needed to watch over Kele." Krynin said "What do you think Kundar, since YOU'RE the one we're being guided by, I think you should decide. you are a Knight of Neraka" Krynin said sarcastically.

''What the abyss is going on here. If we keep like that there will be nobody of our team alive at the end of the day.'' tought Kundar. ''I think it's a good idea to split in two groups, before than some of us die. So I suggest that me Mourn and Kalarin we are going to heal Kele. The others shall go hack and slashing all they want away from here. Good luck and may the lost gods help you'' in reality the sentence kundar was thinking was: ''May the god make you lost. But he kept that for himself. ''As soon as they go away, we shall try to lose them'' said kundar to Kalarin in a secret nerakian gestual language.

OOC : What are you doing ? You want that to end in a total-party kill?

OOC: who was that comment directed to, just so we know who should answer. But I kind of like the idea of what your doing. Makes it so exciting!

IC:Krynin hearing what Kundar had said. "So, it's set. We'll go kill the dragon and you's can stay and cure Kele."

Krynin looked towards Valas and Jackolius. "We can take on a dragon. How hard can it be?"

Mourn opened her eyes only to hear the group was splitting up. She got up and brushed the dirt off her, even though she was still feeling a bit sick. "I don't know if it is such a good idea to split up. You cannot take on a dragon by yourselves!" she knew nothing would change their minds but she could atleast try.

Right you are in for a beating now people. I deliberately killed Scrounger because he was BANNED and so he could never reply to a polite way, plus it ties up a loose end if he can never be in it again.

IC: Kalarin mourned Matilda's loss, he sat on the ground and placed his hands gently on her side; rustling grass and popping sounds could be heard, as vines grew and budded extending over the blood soaked Matilda. Birds flew into nearby trees, calling in their mournful cries, animals looked around trees to see their friend dissapear.
The body was covered and there was no sign of her, the bear was slowly drawn under the earth, Kalarin's hands held onto his precious bundle until there was no sign that a bear had ever stood in that spot.
Kalarin stood up and started walking, he spoke to no one and his eyes were set towards his destination. The birds that were in the trees flew down and pulled Kalarin off the ground, tens of birds flew him back to his home.
Kalarin went straight into the tree house and healed Kele. Kele awoke and said grogily "Who are you?"
Kalarin replied, "Does it matter? Ask your friends, they will be here soon. Goodbye Kelevandros" With that Kalarin waved his hand, and a hole appeared below Kele.
Kele plummeted to the ground and landed on his back with a loud *ooofff* and a loss of air.

Jackolius looked back at Kalarin he kinda felt bad for the creature he had just killed. He had never felt bad for something he had killed before. He turned towards the rest of the group "well we shouldn't split now..i don't think so why don't we all get moving so we can kill the dragon."

"Ok then it's settled we will not split up lets move as quick as possibleif we take much longer it will affect our overall goal"Valas said trying to stop the argument.

''Kele! It's so good to see that your alive!Where the man that healed you? Is name was kalarin. Turning his head to face Jackolius : I think Kalarin fled because of the brutality of SOME OF US. He was a good friend, now I've came here with all of you and we all destroyed what was his paradise by killing his only true friend. I hope your happy of what you've done even a drunk knight of neraka couldn't have done better!I just wish Kalarin can live far away from all of us for the rest of his life. Now let's go. I just want to finish what we've came to do and after I go far away from some of you me too.'' After that speech Kundar calmed himself and look at Kele with a big smile helping him to stand up: ''Are you okay friend? You think you can finish that quest with us? I knew that a good guy like you couldn't die from some bite oF stupid spawn .''

Krynin looked around the group. "Now the dragon will be a breeze to kill. As long as we don't get injured along the way."

[Midnightstrider]

Mourn embraced Kele, "I'm so releaved your alright," she said with a sigh of relef. She stepped back and smiled at him. Most of her worry seemed to deminish when she saw that one of the few people she trusted in the group was okay. She looked at Kundar and found herself agreeing with him. Before this quest she would never even think about looking a knight in the eye, now she respected one and even trusted him with her life.

[Calus]

Kele returned Mourn's embrace and turned to Kundar, "He healed me and left, he seemed ok though, he didn't act like he had lost a friend. Well come on everyone lets get moving", Kele started moving off and then he saw the centaur. "Oh, your the horse, I mean what I thought was a horse. Well thankyou for your back centaur."

Jackolius chuckled, "I am at your service sir...." He smiled adn turned away looking at the path that lay ahead. "I don't sense anything on our path up ahead but my senses are a little worn from a previus attack..."

Kele led the group passed the tree house, he stopped and looked into the tree house, seeing nothing moving he too moved off. He walked down the path a bit more, when he remembered about the attack, his first thought was his sword; but he had that, then he thought about the actual group.
"Krynin you were the one that followed the goblins, how large is their group to be able to send a nasty force againist us?"

[Prevail]

Kyrnin thought about it, "Then they had about thirty draconians, give or take a couple and a very small group goblins. They were lead by seven spawn, not including the three that attacked us."

[Calus]

"Oh if that is all, then we can leave them for the Qualinost defenders, well lets go gentlemen and gentlewomen." Kele started to walk off, along the path once more until he suddenly turned off the path.

'' Yes, let's not keeping this dragon waiting? Anyone now in witch direction are we supposed to go? Huh...Sorry but I think we lost the kagonesti guide... :eek:

There's a little town north of here, if Sulfurix hasn't already destroyed it.We shall be able to speak with the peasants to know the location of the dragon lair.''

Kele poked his head out of the tree line, "Where are you lot off to? Sulphuric is this way."

Krynin followed Kele, he was glad that the leader of the group was back. He was getting tired of the group ignoring him, and knew that they didn't igonor Kele. Ayways it wasn't fun being the leader, Krynin figured he wasn't leader material.

Kundar looked at Kele atonished : ''If you say so I guess he's there but how do you know that? Anyway,we can't afford to wait any longer...''

[Calus]

"I because if you remember, the kagonesti told me back at Qualinost. You see that range of mountains up there", he said pointing towards rock, their peaks hidden by clouds. "That is where we need to go, but be warned we are going to go passed some enemies, like them actually." Kele stopped and tilted his head as an arrow flew whistling passed his head to hit a tree.
Draconians ran out of the underbush, charging the group, fifteen baaz in total, with two bozaks at the back casting their spells. Two lots of magic missiles were sent out, one at Kunder and the other at Mourn, the bozaks started casting more spells.

''DAMN! TAKE COVER!''Said Kundar just before the magics missiles hit him right on his torso making him falling prone.Kundar stood up, and painfully unsheated his sword, only to take another missile on his blade-arm. Kundar gnarled in pain, but he had friend to protect and he wouldn't fall to such enemy. ''Everyone! Take prisoners! The more we will know about the dragon the better it will be.'' Kundar made a move aside and charged on a baaz trusting his flaming sword right in his belly.

Kundar unsheated a small blade from his boot dodged three vicious blow from the baaz and rolled behind the Bozak that seemed to be their chief. He grappled the Bozak by the time he was weaving a spell. Kundar put his sword on the throat of the draconian. ''Now nobody of you pesky draconian move! Put your weapons at your feet an after slide them at one of my friends. One rapid move and your loosy chief is dead. We just want to talk with you maybe we could have some arrangement...'' said Kundar in draconian.

[Calus]

OOC: Wow that was short, too short, so lets have some fun. :D

IC: Kele ignored the arrow that flew passed his head, he flipped his bow off his shoulders and pulled out an arrow to shoot the nearest Baaz in the head, he saw Kundar hit the floor; Kele shot another baaz down and when he looked again Kundar was at one of the bozak's throat.
The bozak with the knife at his neck, smiled and said, "You think you are going to take me alive? My orders were to kill you all, so just by moving forward, you would kill me, and I would blow killing everyone else here. I would still have completed my mission."
The other bozak nearby released his spell, another magic missile was released hitting Kundar in the back.

OOC: Right everyone, you will all be able to get an action in before Kundar's little talk. So feel free to post, and at the end you can join in the conversation the bozak is having. Btw I think I should remind you of how these draconians die, the baaz turn to stone temporarily trapping weapons in their body, and the bozaks blow up thereby killing evreyone around them. Oh and there are the two bozaks and 5 baaz left.

Kundar gnarled whenthe magic missile hit him but he didn't losen his grip. ''Maybe you would reconsider what you've said if you knew that this blade is enchanted the way that your agonic spasm will not have effect and you'll die in vain. So reconsider that or maybe I could get you to your master and say that you have failed. I'm sure he would love to have a new toy.'' Kundar turned to face the other bozak and by this way making a shield with the draconian he was grappling. He tigthened his grip with the knife creating a pearl of greenish blood.

Kundar was bluffing, his knife is nothing more that a little silver survival knife and he was fearing to be forced to blow-off the bozak with himself, his plan was to attract the other surviving draconians within the explosion area and if the gods were with him maybe he could survive

Jackolius looked towards one of the arrows flying towards him after Kele dodged it he reached up with his shield trying to block it unaware of the magic force it had. It threw him back adn hiws shield was shattered. He stood up quickly adn pulled out a crossbow shooting one of the Bazaks (or wutever the spellcasting one is called)

[Prevail]

Krynin weaved in and out of slashing swords, knowing that mage's hands were the key element to casting a spell. He rubbed his speed trinket, drew one of his shamshirs and ran and cut the free bozak's hands off. Krynin having two blades decided he could use one and if it was caught in the body of a dead baaz, he could still fight and get it later. He ran at a baaz and cut acrossed its neck, beheading it. Maintaining his speed he ran at two more, he stabbed one in the gut and left his blade. Unsheathing his other shamshir, he rolled and popped up behind the other baaz slashing it across the legs cutting its tendons in its legs disabling it. It fell to the ground, squirming all over the place. He beheaded it and went to move on when he felt a arrow hit him in the side. He fell to one knee and looked up to see a baaz ready to shoot another arrow at him.

ooc:Nobody is useing the enemy counter, how many draconains are left?

Mourn almost dodged the magic missile, but it caught her on the shoulder. She fell to her knees in pain, but she had to help the group with the draconians. She withdrew her sword with her uninjured arm, and stood up. She saw the baaz aiming at the injured Krynin, and charged at it from behind. She stabbed it before it could hurt the mage anymore. Kneeling down to help him, Mourn looked around at the rest of the group, wateing to see what would happen next.

[Calus]

When the bozak died, his body burst killing any remaining draconians, but also spread along hitting the group and the remaining bozak. There was a slight quietness then the second bozak blew up.

OOC: Have fun you lot, you have two bozaks blowing up.

OOC: midnightstrider, krynin isnt a mage, hes an assasin

Krynin covered his eyes before the one bozak exploded, it exploded and sent krynin flying. He went to uncover his eyes when he remebered about the second one. The second one blew up and parts of it alomost hit him.

OOC : Huh i'm kinda lost. Is the Bozak I was grappling blew up? Use the enemy counter please.

[Calus]

OOC: If you look back there are only two bozaks, so your bozak has blown up Papytofu.

The bozak exploded, propulsing Kundar right onto a tree with a violent shock. Kundar had bruise everywhere on his body and his two legs and his sword arm where broken, but the worst was his right eye that have been perforated by a teeth of the bozak. ''Damn, I said take prisoner, not try to kill me. But I think I'm okay, sort of. After Kundar coughed blood. But He hold his grasp on his life, took his survival knife and he got ready to fight fo his life. ''Danm I can't see with my right eye! What happened could someone tell me how I look?''

Ic : I always thought that Kundar would look more cool with an eyepatch so pealse don't find a way to cure back his eye. And will shall not lose a long time to cure Kundar okay? I don't want to slow the rythm of the story again.

EC : Not any change, I think there is 5 baaz heh?

When the first bozak exploded, she sheilded her head with her arms, wich didn't help much, and was sent flying with Kyrnin. After she narrowly dodged the second explosion, she looked up to see if the rest of the group was okay. She then heard ''Damn I can't see with my right eye! What happened could someone tell me how I look?'', and she turned her attention to Kundar. Immeaditly she ran to him, "Terrible," she replyed.

Jackolius was pushed back by the two explosions but remained standing. He looked around the ywere all dead. "Hmmm i only got to kill one." At this he turned towards the woundedone can it be fixed?

''I swear that those draconians can go with my eye but not with my life! Mourn... is that you? I cannot see with all this blood. Could you bring me my sword? She will know what to do with me...''

[Midnightstrider]

"I will hand you your sword," Mourn said reaching for the knights weapon, "but I will not let you turn it on yourself." She turned to Kele, "We need to find a healer, and I'm not sure if the closest one will even speak to us."

[Calus]

"Didn't someone mention a village not far from here?" said Kele his brain working over time. "Jackolius can you get him there ahead of the group?"

[papytofu]

I didn't want to turn her on me.... I'm not that type of feeble man and even if I was she wouldn't let me. I'll hold life until I cannot grab it anymore. Look at the pummel of my blade, you see that little girl carved on it? It's my daughter, the day she died... slayed by solamnic knights, she sweared that she would always look over me. That I should never give up and always have a good memory of her. That I would find a way to make this world a better place to be. And i tought under the reign of the Dark Queen the world could be better than that light that many leader are blinded by. But bring me Sarah, she'll know what to do with me... Please, I'm beginning to see stars...'' Indeed on the pummel was carvel a little girl her eyes were made of little opals. Tears glowed for the opals...

As Mourn placed the sword in Kundar's hand, she saw the girl with opal eyes. It brought tears to her eyes to hear the story. She to have had the people she loved killed by knights. "You must regain your strength, so you can fight this war for your daughter," she said looking into Kundars eyes.

A tear of the little girl falled on kundar, seting aflame one of his wounds. Kundar gnarled, but after the flame had finish burning,the wound wasn't there anymore,Another tear fall down, bringing the same result, and another, and another. In less than five minutes kundar haven't any wounds left, except for his eye... ''Thanks Sarah...''He looked the small figure, the opal eyes weren't bright anymore... It was like if Sarah benedictionhad been robed from the sword, not delivered because she wanted to be there...

''These day, magics items are losing their powers like the god that we have lost...Sarah wanted to be smith when she would be older. She wanted to bring me the arms that could make the world better. That's one of the first sword she did :''Fire of Father-love'... But... I think I lost some of our precious time with my personal stories, we shall go now now!''

Kundar stand up, took a part of his pants to make a bandana that he put to cover his hollow eye hole.

[Calus]

Kele stood there dumbfounded, he suddenly thought, "Well why hadn't he used that on me?" Kele then spoke to the others, "Well it seems that Kundar has repaired himself, so we had better be going towards our goal." He walked alongside Kundar, unsure of how he was going to walk, as his sight had changed dramatically so that he couldn't tell the depths of objects.

[papytofu]

''Thanks Kele, but I think I'll be okay, it's not like if I was blind, I have one eye left and this one shouldn't let me behind before a while. I think that was a little fee to encounter a man like you... And a woman like you Mourn.For the other...I can't say that I'm a lot happy to be with you but it could have been worst ans I admit you're all pretty good with a weapon in the hands''

OOC : (Kundar couldn't use that on Kele because It was Sarah that was in the sword that decided to cure Kundar. It was a miracle that Sarah have done. That like that i wanted to illustrate that. Kundar had no idea that the sword would do that, he just wanted to see Sarah to find what to do.)

Krynin who had been perfectly comfortable stood up ignoring what Kundar had said, he wiped himself off and looked at Valas. "Hey, are you ok."

OOC : Calus I know you are busy with ansalon regatta but could we progress in this story i think it is worth to have an end...

The group was walking for a good two hours. Kundar started to be tired because he had the feeling that he didn't progressed a bit.'' Kele, is the dragon lair far from here?''

Mourn looked at Kundar with concern, the group was tired and they needed rest. "I think we should stop for a night before we go dragon slaying," she said expressing her fatique.

[papytofu]

'' Yes that's a good idea, make the camp I'll take the watch for all night. Don't be affraid, with that eye I don't think i'll be able to sleep today. Rest well, we have a dragon to kill tomorrow.'' Kundar had a sad smile to all the team with the bitter feeling that maybe tomorrow will be the last of his days or of one of his comrad, the veteran had this feeling many times before in his numerous campaign but he had never been able to get used to it...
