The redemption of Dagoth ur

OOC: This is a story about a made up thing in a made up town.
Plot: In the decently large town of Dagoth ur there is a clan of crimanls that run the town murders theifs and even the mayor all crooks lots of noble men that are croooked there are alot of them and they control the city and no will stand up to fight them. With the money the leader the mayor bribes everyone even the local authohrites.
IC : Calin sat at the back of his wooden chair at the back of the seat around the table he looked over the others in his group. They were alone in the room in the inn the inn. To talk. Calin had livd there al his life back when the life their was great he lived trought the hole thing the last 20 years the clan grew strong and he decided it was time to make a stand. He looked at the four other and this is what he saw.
OOC: only four pepole will be premited to this tread after that you have to pm me and it will be hard to allow you but I might. No one can be the clan only the members of the group.All races alowed except irda

Name- Calin tious
Race- Human
Apperance. About 6'0 sorta long dark blond hair big lion blue eyes.Wheres differnt aromour at differnt times usely where a green traveling suit with a hood.
Weapons of choice- Realy anything but he caries a long sword a short bow some daggers and a set of brass knuckles.

Bio: Orphaned, taken in by someone who hated the crooks and was brought up to hate them.

IC: Kyle looked around the inn, he had just arrived and there was one man sitting in a chair. He walked up to him, "Hi, I'm Kyle", he said holding out his hand. "You asked me to come"

Name: Arthanc
Race: Human
Appearance: Wears a dark robe with a hood covering his head and face. For some reason(magic) his hood never falls back and no matter how much light you shine into it you will never see his face unless he wills it. It indimidates his opponents because of his dark appearance. His face is scarred and burnt from the test.
Bio: Black robed mage that isn't that evil, just wanted the quick and easy way into magic. He is good friends with Calin. He hates the criminal group because they disgard magic as evil and do everything to try to destroy it. He has come to join Calin and is very impatient.

IC: Arthanc's black hood leaned in and muttered to the rest of the group, "I've made a map of the city and strategic locations to hit and run." He snapped his fingers and dark lines started to run in different direction till they formed a recognizable map of Dagoth Ur. He pointed to a building that was pretty large. "This is one of the headquarters of the criminals. They pose as good people. Their flag is flying high there. We must take it down and replace it with our own flag. Rumors are already spreading about us. If we do this we may be able to rally people to us. After all we can't take the city ourselves. There HQ will be defended quite well against full scale assualt, but our group of four should have no trouble of sneaking up there and fighting to the flag."

IC: Calin stood and shook his hand " Yes I did invite you to come listen.'' He then filled him in on the group. Then he turned back to Arthane. ''Yes this plan shall be our first action . This will lets us be better know and spread a little upset through the city.'' Calin looked to the rest. ''What do you think.''

[Calus]

"Im ready", said Kyle, twisting his hands around the hilt of his longsword.

'' True late again my dear freind are sure you had no tail''? The calin walked over to her and slightly whispered her the plan. ''Ahh where is the other member Calin thought fustrated. Then a look of alarm cam over his face they may have found the other member on his/her way here. But then he rembered the report of the member he or he was to be late. Calin decided the other member would be here shortly ' So he began to get ready. Knowing this was sure to be a misson of stealth so he sliped on his leather aromour. Undid his longsword and replaced it with his longest dagger in its silent case.

"Katenria, you have missed our meeting again." Arthanc got up and walked across the room almost gliding. "The plan is to attack one of there HQs and take the flag. Once we have the flag we can replace it with one of our own. The place is guarded by full-scale assault, but the five of us should be able to sneak up there, if the other member comes.."

IC: Calin was ready to go he jumped up and walked over to raeray. ''Hey girl didn't think you'd show up but thanks for telling me you would be late.'' Calin then told her the plan. He seemed to be clam but inside he was a little excited and worried but ready and only arthane could see it. '' He turned to arthane what route should we take to get there unnoticed.'' looks towards door as raeray walks in"*laughs* well atleast i'm not the last to arrive."

"Great no we are all here, lets get this party moving", he said Jumping up from his seat.

"I agree lets get going,"she said pushing in her chair

IC: Arthane gives the group the best route. They all leave the inn and head down west twoards a rode on th e back of the HQ. There feet tap quickly on the cold cobblestone street as they all increase to a jog. They went in and out of dark alleys to get there undetected. As they make it to the last alley there is a concrete wall at the end a gate that goes all the way arpund the building they stop to rest from the quick jog there. Calin sits down letting the cool road touch his back. ''Ok Here we can create a distraction on the other side of the wall on in the front do you have an illusion that can do that
Arthane? Then we can give raeray the flag being the most stealthy and probly the quickest to the roof. If you could climb that would be great. And the three of us left could intrude inside to pull all suspison of the roof and to assisit on the way out. Sound good?''

"Fine with me," Rae said.

Arthanc said, "I have a very good illusion. Calin you come with me and I'll draw the guards from the back door. Then the three of you can rush in and attack and we'll sneak in and help. Raeray, you go climb the building dispatch of the guards on the roof and place the flag. Come back to us and we'll get out of there. Raeray, there is a good pipe to crawl up of right there out of sight. Let's start." Arthanc walked, almost glided to an area in sight of the door. "Get ready. Protect me Calin. When all you are ready Calin give the signal."

Calin stood in front of arthane. When he saw all were ready he gave the signal.

Arthanc started muttering a few words drawing some awareness from the guards. suddenly a large explosion happened behind Arthanc. Arrows flew at the guards all missing them. They were smoke arrows. They were all meant to miss so the guards would not find out. An endless stream of them flew at the guards. They were all panicing thinking they were under attack. They were. One guard had some sense so he charged the mage knowing that wherever a mage was chanting there was trouble.

OOC: That's the signal to charge. It's up to you MotL to describe the guards and protect Arthanc.

Calin readyied himself as the guard charged on him. As the guard submerged out of the smoke his neck was met by Calin's blade. Then a guard came from the left on the little out post on the corner of the wall an arrow from him flew right at arthane ,Calin dove in its path it hit him in his arm. Calin removed the arrow and fired it back killing the archer.

Most of the guards fell to the grown trying to evade the illusion attack. The smoke blinded those who formed ranks. Before they could organzie Calin would but them down with his bow. Looking into the smoke Calin saw one of the higher ranked members of the clan. Manto and his big body guard Relturn. They ran towards the hq. Calin hoped the others could hold them off raeray. Also knowing if they made it to the roof they would see it was a false attacka dn organize their men.

Katneria quicky shot a gard coming their way. She was going to keep them off raeray as best she could no matter what it took, even if her skill wasn't as high as calin's or kyle's.

[Calus]

Kyle steadily took the bow off his back and strung it, took an arrow and placed it on his bow. He drew it back and held it there until he saw a glimpse of guard or a glint, he then let loose his arrow, made no response to the death scream of a guard he had hit and then refitted another arrow.

[Kendergod]

The gurds finally realized the arrows were made out of mere smoke. they charged into them seeing that they were only four. Arthanc sent a small barely noticable dart of flame into one of the guard's chest taking him down. Another guard charged foward and came close to hacking off Arthanc's head as Arthanc ducked.

[Calus]

As the soldier passed over Arthanc's head, an arrow pierced his back. Kyle then reloaded and shot one of the three guards running at him. He changed weapons and prepared for the charge.

[Kendergod]

Arthanc, releived then threw a small capsule and it released a thick green smoke. He rushed in and said, "Kill them know while they can't see!" Arthanc shot a couple more darts into the smoke. A shrill scream told him he had hit a guard.

[Calus]

Kyle shot another 5 arrows, each with a scream, and then he stopped to listen there wasn't anyone around.

Katneria listened to the eerie silence. She began to get nervous hoping the guards we're planning an attack on them.

[Kendergod]

OOC: I'll be gone for a week so MotL (if you still exist) you take control of all my characters in all my threads till Tuesday. I might be able to get on though. Fat chance...

IC: As fog cleared a group of guards charged surpirsing Arthanc. He let loose something special. A special spell that created a perimeter around the guards of green light(like a green laser). The guards stopped instantly, eyeing the wall. Arthanc had rehersed this spell with his companions. This was a simple illusion of light. It couldn't harm you unless you were allergic to light. He yelled, "Charge!" taking up a small sword that felt awkward in his hand.

[Calus]

Kyle ran toward the bunch of guards, he shot one and pulled his longsword out ready to kill any guard, that came through the illusion.

OOC:Ok raeray you haven't posted in a while and your important to the story so I am moving along with your charcter post again at any time.
IC: Rae finaly made it to the top she lowered and raised the flags. Just then The two important officers emerged from the stairs leading to the roof. Rae took of and a dead run and jumped of the building swirling and stabing a dagger in the wall . She then let down a rope and slid down. Calin took up a firm grip on his sword and chaged the soilders he swung and hard blow decapitating one he then stabe over and over at another. As cailn saw Rae running back he called reatreat. Arthane shot a ball of thick smoke on the ground. They all ran for the wall and jumped making it over they new they couldn't wait long they ran to their in to seek refuge.

Kyle saw them run so he ran after them.

Katneria ran as well, she hadn't had and adventure for a long time and it got her a little bit excited.
