Kashnik Thornhand entered the building. He looked around wih a smile, thinking of how rich the mage must be. But he waits for the other warriors to show up.

Garath entered. He was a rugged veteran. Scars covered him all over. He was dressed in a dirty, sweaty, loose shirt. Around his waist, a small crossbow and a few throwing knives was stuck. His pants is roomy and easy to move in. Other than that, he is earing a pair of boots. On his back was strapped an overdimensioned flamberge. He gets in, not taking notice of the kender. He finds the nearest chair, sits down and places his feet on the closest table, ignoring the fact that mud was oozing from them.

Kashnik THornhand wals over to the man. He is wearing brigtht blue legging sand has a yello shirt. His short sword and pouches are with him.
"Hello. I am Kashnk Thornhand, kender fighter. And you are?"

[Grimgor]

Garath strains his neck to turn and look at the kender. "Garath, dragonslayer, mercenary, pirate, cityguard, outlaw and barkeep. You here for the wizard money?"

[kenderman]

"No. I'm different than other kender. They get wanderlust. i get bloodlust. I'm here for the fight. Ad if any money comes my way, you know im gonna grab it."

[Grimgor]

"You're here for the wizard money. Guessed so. You know anything of the assignment?"

Kashnik looked at the man with a grin.
"Of course. Well, at least of got a good idea. THis war is firece. Many are fightin. The mage wants us to fight for him and get him some glory. Or maybe he wants us to aly an ogre. How should i know."

[Grimgor]

"Well, I was promised a handsome reward, so I don't really care. As long as it does not involve getting in the way of two mages duelling."

A huge man enters the room covered in head to tow in in weapons and heavy armour by most warriors that know him call him the aresnal.He takes of his huge helm and throws it on a table showing his true race half ogre.he is smart for a half ogre thow."Hey little one pointing to the kender.Where is the mage?"

Garath raises his eyebrows, straining himself a little more from his comfortable seat to look at the half ogre. "None of us know. Be seated and wait with the rest of us."

A white robed man enter the room.
"I am the mage. And now thatenough of you are here I'll tell you what I want you to do. I want you to find a man. His name is Friz. He has a magic item of mine that I need back. But it's power is preventing me from findinghm. I need you to search the land. I know he is heading for Solace. Begin there. And you are wondering about a reward, right? Bring him to me, with the magic cown he has, and I will give each of you 40,000 steel peices."

[Grimgor]

Garath listened to the speech with absent interest. When the price was named, however, he whistled lowly. "That does sound like a lot. Whats the catch?"

The white robe removes a crown from his pocket.
"The crwon you are looking for is this one's twin. THe two have the power to produce any kind of disaster the wearer thinks. One can counter the other, but if he manages to get this one, I can stop him no longer, and the war will shift into Thakisis hands.

Interesting, thought Angrod as he listened at the doorway. Something to learn. Perhaps he should help these people on the side of light, or betray their purpose to the side of darkness. Perhaps...

Angrod shoved his thoughts away as he heard someone approaching. He quickly ducked into the shadows.

Riddik stopped making excessivly loud noises when the dark figure moved away from the door. "Good" said Riddik in happy tones," I thought he would never move".

" Were going to find wizards?" Riddik asked himself, including himself in the group, " Look, their even waiting for me, I hope one magics me!" As the Kender walks into the room you can see the customary hoopak in his right hand. You also notice that he has blood red leggings and a brown vest. In stead of having many pouches like any other kender would Riddik only has one resting on his left thigh.

"So where are we going?" Riddik said sliding in next to the half-ogre. "My name is Riddik Deeppocket" he said, extending his hand"What's yours?"

As the new arrivals show up, Kashnik turns.
"We have enough here. Lets see. Me, another kender, a human, a mage in the shadows, and another human. We have a good party here. Ready?"

[Grimgor]

"Wait a minute, wait a minute. I've got a question," Garath gets up and looks directly at the mage. "The reward for one of us is enough to buy the High Tower mages and most dark god priesthoods and you're offering it four times to individuals. What's the catch in this?"

[kenderman]

The mage turned to the party.
"The catch is the item he has can literally bring the world to a halt and then burn it to a coal. Most of you will die on this journey. But only if we get that ite mback can the war be stopped."

[Grimgor]

"Hmm, magic, overhanging risk of death, the end of the world. A crazy mission. Absolutely insane. I'm in."

Angrod moved closer to the doorway when he heard someone hint about him moving away. Quite bored with having to keep quiet he went inside and said, "Okay, okay, I was eavesdropping. So now what?"

Looking around, Kashnik relaizes there is a good chanc e this party wopuld suced.
"Well, we take the mages instructions and head to Solace, where the man was going."

........ as the party of would be heros start to plan for their trip to Solace a cheerful new kender walks through the door. He looks at the party and says, "Wow! And to think I just came in to get some spiced potatoes! You look like you getting ready to go on an adventure! "

The kender opens up one of his many pouches and pulls out a map. He climbs on the table, in the middle of the party, and starts to unroll his map. I know this shortcut you see, (he pionts to a place on the map).

He looks up with a cheerful smile and see's everyone staring at him. "Oh, I'm sorry. My name is Pix. Pix Pocketts."

[Grimgor]

Garath glares in surprise at the kender for a second. "And where do you think YOU'RE going?"

BIC: Raeray watched the kender go in and got curious about what was going on, or her kender side got curious. Raeray slowly walked into the room.

.... as the party discuses the route to Solace, pouting because no one wants to take the "shortcut", Pix notices that Kashnik is no where to be found.

Pix thinks to himself, "They won't mind if I go walk around for a bit." He also wonders how Garath's money pouch found its way into his pouch. "Oh well, he must have dropped it. He is much too busy to bother with it now. I'll be sure to let him know he lost it when he is not so busy. he will be so happy!", shortcut all but forgotten, and quite proud of himself, Pix goes off and looks around for Kashnik.

Raeray saw Pix leave and followed after him since there was nothing else to do.

Pix noticed Kashnik speaking with patrons in the tavern the other day, he seemed oblivious to the adventure at hand. How rude! To bother others to this cause and then to completely ignore them!

Kashnik's mother must have the manners, and smell (wrickles nose in disgust), of a troll.
