I thought maybe this would be a good place to have all the speculation about what repercussions this story will have on Krynn....so...Have at!

Speculate how? Only a handful of people have even read it yet.

Ooh ooh, I think that the book is gonna have Mina in it!
and she's different somehow. Really different. Like Chemosh. He's way different too. Maybe they'll be different together?

Now I think that Chemosh and Mina are gonna do something to try to annoy Zeboim, who isn't too different. And Zeboim will get mad, and do stuff with other people. And chemosh and mina will do more stuff. and stuff.

I think =-)

oh man, Talinthas, u said exactly what i was thinking!

Hmmm, I hope Mina dies in the end of this trilogy. But then Chemoch might bring her back as a Lord Soth type character and she'll be around forever.... NNNOOOOO!!!!!

It might be funny to see undead Mina being tortured as a Death Knight for the rest of eternity. :D

Wonder which god finally did get Soths soul. Maybe he's hanging out with hot elfchicks at one of Paladines summer palaces?

Well I could say with almost certainty that with Chemosh already plotting in the First novel of the series that any would be heroes arnt going to get much rest and it looks like we are gonna jump right into another struggle. Would be nice to see some restructuring and rebuilding maybe even different alliances being formed permanitely. Like when the Ogres and elves teamed up and stand together to protect Blodehelm and Silvanesti.

Elves defending Silvanesti??? the minotaurs already bagged it while the elves were trying to fight Mina. I think as far as spoliers go, Chemosh is definitly going to try to get it on with Mina. Yall just think Mina will get with him but I think it will take a while... I mean she's be devoted to Takhisis since birth.
Yall also forgot there are still loads of dragons going around.... Mina didnt kill them all. And the minotaurs are going try to take Krynn...but somewhere in the trilogy they're gonna get torn a new one.
My question is who for the last books is gonna be a bigger character in this one.... there are few heros left that are young enough to defend Kyrnn. The rest a too old, all of them are taking daily vitamins and viagra. so whos it gonna be that becomes a hero?

There are always new heros....thats what this Age of Mortals is all about :)

They need new heros. Like the companions. Heros that they could stick with and not just got rid of after a trilogy or two.

Well....Id rather that they didnt stick with them for three trilogies and a ridiculously huge score of stand alone novels. I bet we will see development with Dhamon, Gerard, and the monk and kender nightstalker in Amber and Ashes.

I probably one of the few DL fans who like mina. (from what I've seen on most message boards) I know she was rather one dimensional in war of souls, but I like the idea of blind faith and how she did everything for her god. Hopefully she learned a lesson and this is looked at in the new series. I also like the idea of Chemosh finally being more involved in Krynn. (though I can't see him being more powerful than Sargas).

And hopefully something foolish dosn't happen, like her becoming good.

SSHHHHH Vincent, don't give them ideas.

Yeah, you're right, they probably don't need any more kooky ideas. Next thing you know they'll bring Tak and Paladine back from the dead. Oops :D

Paladines not dead, my friend. Only roaming the world as an elf.

I dont see Paladine or Takhisis ever returning to godhood. Paladine is jsut so much more interesting now....and Takhisis?.....well...as the munchkins say....Ding Dong the witch is dead!

Vincent

Oh yeah thats right Darknight, I forgot about that. I could probably tolerate reading about Valthonis, its got a good story potential.

Tak can stay in the Abyss though ;)

Just wait....I have a feeling that just because Mina worships a new god now, it doesnt mean her vengeance threat on Valthonis is lifted yet!

Samar

Personally i think that Paladine will probably have a pretty big part in these books coming out. I mean every single dragonlance book by weis has always had some "wise-man" that helped with the criticle parts of the book. And I think it would be a little too much to bring Dalamar back or Raistlin back "again" when they don't even kill anything anymore. So what do you think: Paladine thanking on this new role or bring in some new mage or cleric to do it???

Serena DarkMyst

I highly doubt that Valthonis will play the part of wise advisor....at least I hope not...I fear that if he shows up in the books he'll get his comeuppance from Mina (At least thats how she sees it)

Dalamar would be much more simple to bring i...since he is living, and the head of the Black Robes now.
