Help a novice

Hi. I really enjoy reading the posts on the role-playing forum. I would love to join in on a story line but I don't know where to start. I don't know the rules.. or the basics. I'm intimidated by it all...and I'm kind of shy, so would anyone have some advice for me?

I know how you feel, I just signed up a few weeks ago and jumped right into the role playing...I looked at a few to see if there were any I could join, then I decided to start one of my own...just pick a character...anything you like..and jump in! I had to be told a few things while roleplaying but the veterans will help you out along the way...but be careful...it can be addictive! ;) If you want to you are welcome to join Raeray's thread Wanderlust..it is just her and I and we need a mysterious stranger to join in! Feel free! :)

I'm just over here lauging. I'm new at this but some peopleconsider me to be really good especially at roleplaying..........Even though the only things i've been is a kender and a blue dragon......but i am awesome at being a kender(don't ask why)

There is a new thread just posted about a murder mystery that sounds like it will be a lot of fun and don't worry...I'll kick Dalamar_theDark's behind up a tree if he teases you too much... :D With a name like Aspen I would say you are leaning more towards an elf character, I love elves! Then again I like anything DragonLance! And the great thing is that you can have more than one character and be anyone you want to be...then again...you probibly know all of this anyway :rolleyes: Look forward to roleplaying with you!

well its always sunny here thats got to count for something it only rains for a few months unless there is a cyclone that is pretty bad like the ones in america now exept not as bad but more regular so maybe that is just as bad. and to think back packers flok to here just so they can see the great barrier reef (finding nemo) woo hoo fish note i hate fish the really arnt that interesting why dose anyone want to see fish if the army didnt post me here i would never go any where nere here
