Here is the go im going to DM this tread for something different i stole the idea of Grimgor. I dont want to make "RULES" up so they are more guide lines. Ill post options sorta and just deside what happens without playing peoples charaters. ill try and post once a day which i normally can do. so dont join if your not going to post

i would like 5 players (please onley one kender and no mules) and i dont want a charater so powerfull he can beat Thor in a fight just start simple and get beter. saying that this is in no way D&D ive never played so i dont know how to do that

ill wait for two more posters and we will begine in southern ergoth at the beging of the wotl just as the first silvensti elves reach the island.

here is my Prelude so that every one know what is going on at the time of this thread.

The leaves of the great tree were turning gold with the fadding summer warmth. it was the first day of Autumn and to the Wilder elves it was the very end of there world. For many years, for an age of Krynn the Kaganesti had remained un touched by their kin, they remained isolated in the forrests on Southern Ergoth, their forrest and their home.

War had come to Krynn and it came fast races fell and died by the reign of the Dragon highlords as childrens stories became real. They came on winds of death and nothing could stop them. From far away the kin came, yes they were Elves but they were Kanganesti. The Silvansti where a proud race driven from there home land elves so differnt they looked on the Wilder as no more than human. And so the speeker of the stars Children came to stay in there homeland.

But no one is ever safe. Darkness came also to Ergoth, the red dragon high lord Verminaard sent forth Darksoul a Human Commander who was tasked with crushing the knights outpost on Southern Ergoth. However rummer came to his ears that the Dark Queen had a beter plan for him. There was once an object of power hidden in the mountain caves of southern Ergoth that could be a usefull weapon it was his new cause to find it...

OOC: Hello, I think I will join. I am just going to have to think a good character through. i wanted to be a Cleric of Zeboim but, where there are not many clerics around right now. Perhaps she can be someone who grew up around the sea, and in time as things change and the gods show there faces again she shall become a Cleric of Zeboim perhaps. I will get back to you though with her starting out atleast.

ooc- I'll start off although I am still fairly new at this..:)

in- Khara Silverwing stood just outside the tree line banking the River of the Dead and watched as the boat carring it's sorrowful cargo floated by. She had been waiting for most of the morning to pay her final respects. Bowing her head silent tears trickled down her face, so much death, so needless. Almost invisable against the trees she blended in with the background, and with a final salute to the fallen warrior, she slipped back into the bushes. The Silvanesti had been making slaves of her people since they arrived, luring the younger Kagonesti away with flashes of gold and silver, Khara vowed never to allow herself to become like them, she was fiercly independant, the last of her family and determined to carry on her family's values and teachings. Slinging her long bow across her back and hefting a full quiver of arrows Khara walked through the woods intending to go hunting, something that was becoming more and more difficult each day.

BIC: Raeray thought this place was really interesting with all the dead people and all. She grieved for all the dead people but at the same time it seemed to liven up the place. She walked along the river and watched the dead float past.

Atrina saw her friend Khara walking. Khara and her had known each other for a while, and remained the best of freinds. Although Khara helped with a couple of the "assignments" Atrina was given to do, Atrina didn't think she supported her being a rogue and a mercenary. Her two griffons walked behind her, gracefully tucking there wings in as not to hit any trees. Dawn was a light brown collor and dusk was a dark black color. Twin griffons since their birth and found by Atrina when she was seven. She raised them and developed a telepathic link with them, now, they're her partners in whatever she does.

"Wait Khara!" Atrina shouted. Atrina knew what was wrong with Khara and had to cheer her up. She knew what had been happening her lately with Kharas family. Atrina quickly sprinted, Dusk and Dawn following close behind her.

"Wait up," She says as she ran to Khara's side, "Don't get upset. I brought you a present."

She walks over o dawn and pulls out an amulet from one of the bags around the griffon. It sparkled a beautiufl green color, clearly from a treasury of the dwarves.

"Its all yours. I got it off my last ASSIGNMENT and decided 'you know, this would be perfect for Khara' So you like it?" She asks tossing it to Khara.

She shot a quick glance at Dusk to make sure her weapons were still attached to the griffon, they were there, but Atrina had some thought that someone was watching there every move, but who.

IC: the small fishing villiage was almost deserted the arivial of new elves had in a way intised people to leave cause instead of the elves that left them well alone now there was hundreds of elves shapeing the earth and they didnt really like the small population of humans dwarfs and kender liveing in the town. so onley a few remained behind and would surely leave soon when the elves moved closer. the romur of war too struck fear into the hearts of the town every day wilder elves would take the last jurney out to sea. most of the town beleved it safer neer the knights strong hold or one of the larger towns on the north west side of the island.

He leaned back in the chair and wiped his mouth with his sleeve as he watched more and more people bustling about, packing possessions.
"Grumph...cowards." Dalgrin grunted as he reached around the side of his chair and gripped reassuringly the warhammer that sat there.

Race:Dimernesti Sea Elf
Gender:Female
Class: Cleric of Zeboim evetually, the sea elves kept their faith even when others didn't

Discription:She is about 6 feet tall, she looks slender next to a human, but next to an elf she looks quite muscular then them. She has light blue skin, her fingers and toes are webbed. Her hair is silver and long and is braided in a couple of places with shells on them. Her eyes are an indigo color. She would be considered 23 in human years, while on land she wears a lite white dress, and a dark robe to cover the color of her skin from prying eyes. She came to the dry lands in search for Temples of Zeboim, the goddess she had heard from some of the people her people had resceuded that the Gods had deserted them and she came to find out the truth. She finds people to be interesting, but a little bit intimadating. She tries to keep to herself. She carried a couple of knives under her cloak, and a Trident.


Ulana is down by the water on a private shore that not many come to in the village, she had just come out of the water from her Daily swim. She clothes herself, and heads back into the village. She notices a dwarf sitting infront of a house, she hears what he says and turns towards him her hood covers her face and her hands are covered with the sleeve of the robe even though she is carrying her Trident with her "That is rather rude don't you think, master Dwarf?"

Dalgrin turned his head in the direction of the voice and raise an eyebrow as the watched the approaching figure. "My great grandfather used to say that the truth could be rude sometimes." he said with another grunt. Dalgrin leaned forward in his chair and spat on the ground, "What would you call a bunch that is running away from their homes instead of defendin'em?" he asked as he brought the bottle of brandy up to his lips for a swig.

Dalgrin turned his head in the direction of the voice and raise an eyebrow as the watched the approaching figure. "Sane, thoughtful of their own lives. Is it not better to, protect your life and the lives of your children? Especially if there really is no way to protect them from what is coming. I am sure all of these people, have their own reason for why the want to leave. What I want to know is who are you to judge these people? Are you planning on staying and defending this place?" She says with a slight accent in her voice, that only tend to come out now when she gets irritated.

Dalgrin sloshed the brandy around in his mouth before he swallowed and let out a satisfied sigh, "Ahh...they didn't ask, I didn't offer." He took another swig, draining the bottle. "You talk of protecting ones children. Honorable a task indeed. But these people dont have the lifespan of the elves. To me, it seems they have worked and lived a hard life to provide something for their children to grow and prosper from. Now they leave it behind. I hear no talk of resistance or joining arms with other villages to someday reclaim what they have worked for." he gave another grunt and stood up retrieving his warhammer and hoisting onto his shoulder. "Once you sever the roots, the tree will not grow properly....if at all."

The teenage kender was home. Though she liked it alot on the road it was always good to be home. She could see the small fishing village where she had lived most of her 15 years. She was wondering the streets trying to remember where her home was when she saw what seemed to be a sea elf though she had never met one she had heard stories and she meet the description of one. She noticed that she was talking to a dwarf. Hmm... that's curious she thought. I'll cheak it out Raeray decided. So she skipped happily over to the dwarf and the elf.

IC: Ulana feels a twinge of longing for her own home for a moment "Says you, they might just grow stronger on there own. You never know." She says obveousally not talking about the villagers anymore.

Khara caught the green gemstone as it was tossed to her, bringing it up to catch the sunlight, she smiled " It's certainly pretty Atrina." and with a flick of her wrist sent it flying back " But you know I can't accept it, not knowing where it came from." Khara sighed " I guess there's no point in hunting now, your friends would have scared off any game in the area for miles. " She walked over to stroke Dusk on the shoulder, being Atrina's friend she felt comfortable in petting the griffons however she knew they only tollerated her. "When did you get back?" she asked " Do you know what has been happening here?" Tossing her hair over her shoulder, she looked back towards the river a sad look in her eyes.

But now, she sees them everywhere and knows why not many are fond of them, she whips back around to look at the dwarf with a bit of a fury. When she does this, her hood falls away from her head, to reveal her race.

A robe figure leaning up against a house steps back when he sees the sea elf. "report anything strange" that was what he was told. with his bandaged hands he pulls his hood way over his head and starts running towards the woods. what a strange elf this news could be usefull to Darksoul.

She gasps and puts her hood back up, revealing on of her webbed hands. She then starts backing away, and then quickally turns to start rushing away. She dares not stay long not knowing what the others are thinking.

Ulana rounds on him, thinking him insane. She points her Trident at him, to keep him at a distance "Have you gone mad, I am no Ogre. Apologise or I will bring the wrath of the sea goddess around you."

Dalgrins halted his movements, coming to stand ready for battle. "Dont be spreadin' any of your lies." he said grinding his teeth, "I heard stories of ogres havin' skin like yours. If you ain't an ogre, then what in blazes are you? A sea witch? Just as bad if you ask me." Dalgrin spat on the ground and showed his teeth.

"She ain't an ogre," Raeray said thrilled,"She's a sea elf!!! I've never met one before but I've heard lots of stories, they sound really interesting." Raeray said fast and excitedly.

Dalgrin didnt turn his gaze from the robed figure, but did adress the kender, "How do you know she's a sea elf and not an ogre. You just said you never saw one before?"

"Her hands are webbed, she doesn't act evil, or has she and I wasn't listening," Raeray stopped and pondered.

[Calvillas uth Dalgrin]

"Hmph.." grunted Dalgrin. "Could be some kinda ogre trick. Heard ogres used to be like that you see, very tricky." Dalgrin just eyed the sea elf/ogre.

Ulana rolls her eye "Do not judge by the color of skid Dwarf, because if I did I could suspect you of being a Kender. I am a seaelf, I will tell you that though it does not matter what I am because it has nothing to do with you. And if you want trickery I will give it to you." She moves smoothally and skillfully, hooking the trident into the Dwarf's clothing and catching him in it. She then moves the trident with the Dwarf on it over to a dock holding the dwarf over the water. She chuckles "Would you like to go for a swim Master Dwarf? I am sure Zeboim would enjoy my sacrafice."

OOC: I dont think you could support a dwarf on a trident suspended over water. But thats ok. :)

"By Reorx," Dalgrin swore as he hung out over the water. "Put me down you bloody witch or Reorx save you I'll have your head!"

OOC: Well actually I am sure she could, for the fact that she would be stronger the others because she has been underwater for so long. And the fact that the Trident would have to be made out of something fairly strong so I couldn't break to easily. Actully on one part would make it difficult, his clothing which I think I will use in here. :D ;)

IC: "Apologise to me and the rest of these people and I will think about it." As the Dwarf moves on the end of the Trident, you can hear a little rip come from his clothing as a part of it rips off of the Trident. Ulana grip becomes a little bit more difficult to handle and Dalgrin shakes closer to the water. Ulana chuckles "I would hurry if I were you, I do not think that I can hold you much longer."

OOC: Well, I was just thinking that on average you probably have a dwarf that stands about 4'6 and weighs somewhere around 150lbs, maybe more. Of course this will vary depending on your idea of a dwarf. But you also add in his equipment(chainmail, breastplate, warhammer, various odds and ends) and you probably got 200 or more pounds being supported at the end of a 6'2 or 6'3 trident. You would have to be a hoss to hold that up. But anyway :)

"Uh, very well. But for only apologising to me." She moves over a little bit releasing him, right into the water. But luckally for him it was right at the shore. Ulana jumps off of the dock and walks over to the Dwarf and hold out a Webbed hand to help him up.

Dalgrin lands in the water with a thud. He sits up holding his arms out to the side and gives them a shake, flinging water off of them. He waves the elfs hand away and stands up on his own. He then reaches down into the water and pull his hammer out and hoist in onto his shoulder. Dalgrin glares at the elf and says,"Thanks alot, not only did you rip my good shirt, but you got my only pair of breeches soaked through! Bah!" He storms past the elf back up to the house where he was sitting, his feet sloshing in his boots.

Raeray fell down laughing at the dwarf and the sea elf. Then she started to get the hicups and lauged so hard that when she finally stoped she started choughing. When she finally stoped coughing she turned to the dwarf smiling.
"Told ya so," Raeray said sticking her toungue out.

"the blue one get her" hissed a voice. the wood line now held the shadows of four robed figures each now holding in there bandaged hands a long single edged curved blade. "he wants the blue one, kill the others" ordered the snake like voice as the robed men ran from the trees.

Dalgrin lands in the water with a thud. He sits up holding his arms out to the side and gives them a shake, flinging water off of them. He waves the elfs hand away and stands up on his own. "Very well then." Ulana says, as she watches Dalgrin walk away. She smile at the good time the Kender is having with this situation. She thinks to herself that she should move on now, not wanting to bring anymore attention to herself. She walks over to Dalgrin and the Kender "Be happy that is all I did, I could have thrown you in as a sacrafice to the Goddess. But alas I will leave you alone, how I will miss this interaction." She says with sarcasim, she then turns and walks away to start heading out of the Village knowing she should move on.

Raeray watched the sea elf go down the road than she suddenly remembered where her house was right down the road this road!!!
Raeray happily skipped down the road, until she got where her house should be, then she stopped. No, she thought to herself, this house can't be it, they must of moved Raeray thought looking at the deserted house.

Dalgrin was dumping the water out of his boots when he saw four robed figures swords in hand run in the direction the sea elf took. Dalgrin shook his head and slipped his wet boots on, then picked up his warhammer and began running after the four figures.

one of the robed figure jumped out at raeray swinging its curved blade in an arch to take of her head maybe if she was a little taller he would have. seeing the dwarfs charge another of the shadowy figures left at him. the other two made there way to the blue elf the prime target the first smashed straight into her trying to make sure he didnt hit her with his blade the second assalent went over the top of his companion to dissarm the elf.

Dalgrins charge was cut short by one of the robed figures. The figure made a thrust with its sword, but Dalgrin managed to parry the blow with his handle of his hammer. Dalgrin swung his hammer in an arch at the figure but missed. Dalgrin jumped back from a slash that caught the end of his beard that sent bits of hair flying. He felt the end of his beard and shouted,"Damn bloody beast! I'll have your head for that!". With that the figure made a lunge at Dalgrin who sidestepped and brought his hammer down hard between the shoulder blades of the figure. An audible cracking sound was made and the figure fell to the ground with a thud. Battle lust in his eyes, Dalgrin turned to face the rest of the group.

From seemingly out of nowhere an arrow sailed over the river and thudded into the shoulder of the dark robed figure attacking a kender. Khara stood on the opposite bank renotching her bow and looking for another target. She couldn't stand to see someone small like a kender being put upon by a larger foe, there was no honor in that! Especilly when it was two against one.she thought as she sighted in on one of the robed figures just about to attack what appeared to be a sea elf, even though she had never set eyes upon these distant cousins, Khara instantly recoginized the elf for what she was.

Upon seeing the scaled hands, Ulana sreams and struggles a little more "By the Goddess of the see what are you?" Then trying to put a face to what these things might be she scares herself so much she goes limp in there arms, fainting.

Being on the opposite side of the river, Khara did not hear the words the creature hissed and let fly another arrow, this one landing directly in one of the two creatures throat. " Bullseye" Khara murmered. Reaching back to her quiver for another arrow she watched as the sea elf appeared to faint " Oh no, get up!" she cried, for the other creature had the elf held in front of him and she had no direct shot without the sea elf being in the way. Powerless to fight, all Khara could do was watch.

Atrina caught the gem and slipped it into a pouch attached to Dawn.
"I took the dwarf assasian out in the mines, took it off of him. I don't know much, but I do know a little."
Atrina saw everything happen very fast, and then it began back in normal speed, Khara shooting arrows and then standing and staring motionless. She had to do something. Hoping on Dawn, Atrina sped through the air, sending a telepathic message for dusk to grab Khara and bring her across the river.
From five feet in the air, Atrina jumped off of the griffon and landed safely on the ground. She pulled out her two daggers and started to stab at the creature, assuring to make it dead. If it could regenerate, then it wouldn't do much good because a special posion was seeping through its veins.
She stepped back and threw of her robe, revealing a leather armor skirt and a leather armor top. She only smirked and slid her daggers away.

Ulana wakes up, looks around her then notices that the robes figures holding her are no longer moving. She tries to get her arm out of their grip but the notices it is stuck in its stone grip "Someone help me please, I seem to be stuck." She says in a slightally worried voice.

the house was a strong one the onley stone structer in the town with a 6 foot high walled court yard it once belonged to an ergothian lord. the house had small windows wooden floors and most of it furniture still intacked and was two story high the second story one hall with a star case at one end. the kitchen and two bedrooms were on the botom floor. the court yard had a stable like shelter anoth for maybe three horses and an out house the gate was large and iron and could be bolted shut as well as the door to the house which could also be bared. the building had a cellar with a bit of food left in it but most had been taken when the owners fled north.

rain started to drizzel down.... and the stone draconians crubled leaveing onley dust robes and their curved blades.

As the door swung on its hinges, Dalgrin swore a curse for what stood on the other side....a kender.

No sooner were the words out of her mouth, the first drops of rain slashed against her upturned face. Shouldering her bow, she started at a run in the same direction the others had gone.

History:Grew up in qualinesti in a senters family. Younges of 3 children, and was the only girl. Aspen sat in the upstairs library of the empty house. Content to have a quiet moment before she continues her travels where ever the Gods took her. The silense was broken by the sound of the door being opened downstairs.

the wilder elves outside the stone building could now see the lights hundreds of them flaming in the whiping wind of the storm. the tourches moved around frantacly and what the lights showed was more robed figures surounding the town. hissing voices carried in the now puring rain called for archers. and the elves were soon to know why as arrows wiped past them and there griffens it would not be long till one found its mark.

Khara had just taken a step when an arrow thudded into the ground in front of her foot. Swinging her bow off her shoulder, she quickly notched an arrow and looked for a target, her blood froze as she saw the vast number of torches surrounding the small town. Quickly Khara headed for an open doorway for cover " Atrina find shelter!" out of the corner of her eye she saw the griffons take to the air. Letting an arrow fly, Khara quickly notched another without waiting to see if the first arrow hit. " We can't keep this up for long!" she yelled as an arrow thudded into the doorway, narrowly missing her head. Spying the open doorway of the house the dwarf and the sea elf had entered, Khara ducked her head and ran for it. She had almost made when pain sliced into her as an arrow landed in her thigh and with a cry, fell into the mud. Half walking, half crawling Khara headed for the relative safety of the house with enemy arrrows flying around her.

Everything moved so fast after following the dwarf into the house, that the next thing Ulana knew was she seen an elf outside trying to make it to the house. She opened the door and ran out dodging the arrows flying at them, she could see the elf was hurt. She took most of the burden of the elf and helped her into the house, setting the elf up against the wall for a moment.

She takes her own robe off, only leaving her in a light white dress on. She then sets it on the floor for the elf to sit on, knowing that the elf was probably shocked by what she was and the fact that the seaelves and their cousins never had a very good relationship she reaches out hesitantally to help "If it would be all right cousin, I can tend to your wound?"

Khara was watching for Atrina when the sea elf walked out of the house and before Khara could follow her the dwarf tossed a bottle of spirits with a rag trailing from it into her hands. Quickly grasping the idea she followed him out the door and stood on the other side of the sea elf waiting for a sign of what was to come next. She still could see no sign of Atrina and she hoped that Atrina's griffons had helped her to escape the barrage of enemy arrows. " Well are we going to stand here all night or are we going to escape from those things, whatever they are." Khara muttered to the others. Tossing the bottle back to the dwarf she swung her bow around " Here you can have this back< I'm a much better aim with this" she said brandishing an arrow.

Upon seeing what happened, and knowing that they could not take on all of these then hearing the words. She grabs ahold of the dwarf and then turns towards the Elf "We need to get back in, this is to much. atleast in there it is harder to hit us." With that she starts dragging the dwarf back towards the door.

From her hiding spot at the top of the stairs, Aspen can see very little of what is going on outside. Then out of the blue, a flaming arrow smashs through the window nearly setting the kinder on fire. She runs down the stairs and and stomps the flames out.
Now standing infront of the open door, Aspen can see a thick fog filled with flying flaming arrows. And through all of the chaos she can her the sounds of a spell being spoken.
Aspen looks down at the kinder and asks,"What have your friends stirred up?"

" Well it looks like we are surrounded" she sighed disgustidly(sp) and upon seeing the sea elf and the dwarf shaking hands went over to see what they were planning. Smirking Ulana takes her hand away, and looks at Khara "It is nice to meet you Khara, and yes I am Ulana of the Dimernesti" She shake the other elf's hand. She could not help but giggle a little bit, as she took her hand away "Excuse me, I mean not to laugh. It is just the people back home would not believe me if I ever told them that I am making friends with a Dwarf and a Kagonesti elf. And I am willing to bet a Kender will be added into the mix also. Of course no one ever thought that I would ever leave the water either." Her eyes grow a little sad.

Ulana thinks on what Dalgrin said, and then watches the interaction between Dalgrin and Raeray. She then goes to think to herself, but she ends up speaking it instead "Oh, boy. I think it may just be safer out there. Rather then staying in here with these two."

I just need all of you to agree with me on this, and not to try to save me again. " The last sentance she looks at Dalgrin out of the corner of her eye.

Dalgrin sat in the the corner his arms folded, grumbling to himself. At the mentioning of Ulanas words, he turned to face her, a dour expression on his face. "Listen lass, that idea accomplishes nothin' cept for what they want. I cant speak for every one else, but I'll have no part in turnin' an innoccent over to Reorx knows what. Besides..." he pauses feeling a shift in the floor beneath him. Dalgrin looks down at the floor seeing only a area rug. He moves his feet again, feeling the same shift. Dalgrin pulls back the area rug revealing a door in the floor. "Besides," he continues speaking to Ulana, "theres always another way."

Khara looked at the trap door in the floor and smiled " Well I guess that if this isn't a way out, we wouldn't be in any worse situation than we are in now." Looking out the widow she could only see torches in the darkness " At least we wouldn't have to worry about stray arrows " she said as one flew in through the window to land on the floor in front of Ulana.

Seeing no working lock on the door, Dalgrin examined it a bit closer. He tapped the edges and ran his finger along the small crevice around the door. "Theres air moving around down there. Dark Souls keep somewhere in southern ergoth

the hissing voice was bringing him more bad news aparently the high lord was right the clirics had returned or so it seemed. he had thought it a fools erand to be stationed here so far from the red dragon army but the aperance of elves had made life more interesting. he had carried war to the wilder elves with unrelenting ferosity and they held him but soon they would brake his plans in motion but now this cleric had come to his island.

if the high lord was right and the clerics could be a threat he would end it here with the cleric surounded and a full company of dreconians in suport he would crush the worthless cleric then push fully into the elves. also it would seem that other elves had come to his island so he would kill two birds with one stone.

"By Reorx's beard!" he yelled, "I've had bout' enough of these shennanigans!" he hollered as he hefted his warhammer in a high arc and brought it down hard on the floor next to the trap door, smashing the planks to splinters. Once Dalgrin had removed his hammer from the floor a hole big enough for a kender to slip through, could be seen. Dalgrin got down on his knee's and stuck his arm in the hole. He stood back up to face the group,"Just as I suspected." he said proudly, "A breeze is blowing in from the direction of the river. Might be a culvert or such running down there." Dalgrin went to a table and struck his flint to the wick of a candle. He turned facing the group. "Yall can take the chance with those things outside if you feel like jumping out a window. But before I do anything else, I'd like to have a look down there."

the hole in the floor dose infact lead to a small passage and a store room the passage going the the other way leads into a very dark winding tunnal

a huge bang is heard in the house as the robed figures outside use a fallen log to smash into the door though the sound of hissing war crys fill the air and clawed hands smash into the windows trying to grab at anyone in reach afew archers have reached the house window and the sound of clawed feet on the roof says trouble is imadent

As Dalgrin peered into the small room seeing the tunnel he heard the bang on the door. "Well," he grunted,"no time for a detailed search of the place." he said as he began to break the planks in the floor big enough for all to slip through. "But I'd say we have a better chance going out this way than any other." he said as he looked at the group.

Gathering his senses about him he quickly looks around and darts over to peer into the tunnel. Feeling the slight breeze on his face he hollers back to the group,"Hurry up you loafers! We aint got time for gawking!"

Khara stood with her back to the hole in the floor " Go! I will hold them off if any manage to get inside. " she yelled already notching an arrow in her bow and aiming out the open window. Spying a target as one of the creatures passed the window, she let fly the arrow and smiled with satisfaction as a cry of pain echoed back to her. " Hurry!" she gestured to the others and waited while they dropped down in the hole.

the tunnel winds slitly to the left untill its out of sight but seems to head toward the rivers mouth well since there ids a dwarf i think he knows hes derections and will guess that

there is a small room futher up the tunnell which is empty save for the corpses in tombed in the walls. there skeliton remains rooten away so that some are bearly reconisable. the family that owned this house may have dated back to the cataclism proberly a long proud history as the coat of arms in the room sujests but apart from that the tunnell gose futher left

the crashing sound from the roof indicates the robed men are brakeing the tiled roof up to get in. and it wouldnt be long befor the door brakes in

Dalring ran down the tunnel past the little room. He caught the faint odor of decay and paused to see coat of arms on the wall. "Some kinda family vault no doubt." he said to himself. "Thank Reorx for the designers choice of running a tunnel through here." Dalgrin turned back to see if the others were following him. Hearing Khara's hollers he assumed they would be along any moment. Dalgrin turned and began running down the tunnel as it veered to the left.Boy I hope this works he thought to himself.

Ulana runs just in time not to be seen, but still out of the corner of her eye she sees what happens to Aspen. Part of her wants to run back to save her, but her feet tell her different. Her feet keep running away, her eyes shut as she runs with a silent prayer to Zeboim Please do not let her die, not like this and not for me.

We must escape." and with that started down the slippery riverbank towards the small boat tied to the shore.

Forcing the rage to subside with in him, Dalgrin heeded Khara's words. He swore a silent oath and spit on the ground, then turned to follow after the others. Reaching the shoreline where the boat lay, Dalgrin turned back in the direction of the village. Smoke from the fires were already reaching high into the air. Dalgrin gritted his teeth as he began to turn back towards the boat, when something caught his eye. Quickly turning his head, he thought he had seen some movement in the sky, but if he had, it was now gone. Dalgrin shook his head and jumped into the boat with the rest of the group.

Forcing the rage to subside with in him, Dalgrin heeded Khara's words. He swore a silent oath and spit on the ground, then turned to follow after the others. Reaching the shoreline where the boat lay, Dalgrin turned back in the direction of the village. Smoke from the fires were already reaching high into the air. Ulana shakenly brings herself to the shore, not really feeling or hearing anything. Instead of getting into the boat she submerges herself in the water with only her head above trying to calm herself. She grabs the side of the boat, to wait.

Dalgrin leans over the edge of the boat to look at Ulana. He notices the blank look on her face and leans back again. He shrugs and says to himself, "Elves....distant in relation or not are still elves and are a mystery in their ways." Noting that everyone had gotten into the boat, he picks up an oar and shoves off from the bank. "I'll never understand'em."

bic- As the dwarf rowed the boat his powerful strokes carrying them away from shore quickly Khara sat with her back to the others keeping an eye on the shore line. With her elven sight she could see the enemy swarming around the back of the house and starting to head in their direction " We had better pick up the pace we will have company soon." Leaning over Khara was relieved to see Ulana keeping pace with the boat as Dalgrin put distance between the enemy and themselves.

all seemed to be quite on the river even as the night sky was filled with the fires light. the boat makeing its way up river it slips into the darkness but the shaps on the bank cannot be mistaken a body was hostided up a tree by two robed figure the Atrina screamed, torch light from ahooded figure showed Atrinas agony. she had her skin half flayed from her corpse her ears cut off. Atrinas cloths were ripped from her body telling she had been difilled her blood had body twiched as her screams died and the look of sheare agony on her face struck terror into all that watched.

Atrina had once been a wild elf but the robed figure had desecrated her in life and death her griffens were no where to be seen. around her body hung others the last of the townspeople it would seem or just those who had thought as in the fire light of the villiage the companions could see children and women and a few men being draged of

Ulana sees Khara jump out and start swimming towards the horriable sight, she swims after her grabbing her to keep her from going anyfather. She then reaches out a hand pointing it towards Atrina, she whispers a prayer and a storm appears around them and then a single bolt of lightening comes down hitting Atrina killing her instantally "I'm sorry, that is all I can do."

Dalgrin was concentrated on putting as much distance between the village and the boat as he could, when he heard Khara's scream. He turned and gasped at the horror of what he saw. Stunned and in complete bewilderment, Dalgrin halted his rowing and was only brought back by the sound of splashing water. As he shook off the dazed feeling he looked around to see Khara swimming off in the direction of the shore, Ulana close behind. "Bloody hell," was all he could mutter as a bolt of lighting cracked in the sky. Dalgrin shook his head and began to row again, steering in the direction of Ulana and Khara. Pulling up side them, Dalgrin hauled Khara's dazed and weeping form into the boat, with the aid of Ulana. Once she had settled, Dalgrin hefted the oars with grim determination to leave this site. The boat continued on the stream in silence.

Khara huddled in the bottom of the boat, to wrapped up in her own grief to notice anything around her. In Khara's mind flashes of childhood and memories of Atrina ran through as silent tears corsed down her face. Atrina was a fighter, she would not want me to carry on like this Khara thought and wiped the tears away. Staring out over the water, she glared at the thing standing closest to the burning tree where Atrina's corpse hung I will avenge her death she vowed to herself I will not rest untill that thing is dead

Dalgrin remained steady on the oars. He seemed to be lost in his own thoughts, occasionaly mumbleing something incoherent outloud. How in Reorx's forge did I get myself into this mess? he thought to himself.

The river winded on through the forrest the over handing trees made erie shadows on the crystal water the sounds of the massacer faded into the night as the mist rolled in. from the high lands to the north. and the stars slowly faded as the compaions are consumed by the fog. but there was nos sign of the enemy.
