OOC: Just to annoy dalamar_thedark I'm going to name my character Kiki instead of Raeray :p
BIC: Kiki Lockpicker was walking down one on the streets of Haven when she saw an Inn. It was getting late she thought. She should stop for the night. She then turned her steps toward the Inn.
BIC: this takes place about two years before the WOTL

[Kyra Starleaf]

Topknot flying, Ima Thistleknot slammed into someone or something outside the inn. Looking over her shoulder, she smiled seeing that she had lost the angry shopkeeper that had been chasing her. " Hi" she said as she helped the other person up. Seeing that it was another kender she happily asked " What do you have in your pouches? Want to see what's in mine?"

Kiki jumped up in down excitedly."Ok, but lets go in and get a table so I can sort my stuff out on the table." Kiki said opening the door the inn.

[Kyra Starleaf]

Hearing angry voices coming up behind them Ima grabbed Raeray's arm and hurried into the inn. " Admire one little ring..." Ima sighed " I was going to put it back!" They sat down at a table and Ima proceeded to empty all her pouches onto the table. A feather, a rock and a ring landed in her lap. Picking the ring up Ima wondered " How did you get here? I put you back!"

"Must be magic," Kiki said examining the ring.

[Kyra Starleaf]

Glancing up from sorting through her treasures Ima shrugged. Stuffing things back into her pouches she paused " I'm Ima Thistleknot by the way" she said holding out her hand.

"Kiki Lockpicker," Kiki said shaking her hand gaining the ring in the process.

[Kyra Starleaf]

A huge smile broke out on Ima's face " Pleased to meet you" she said " Are you from Kendermore? I haven't seen you around here before..then again I haven't been here long myself." Pocketing the braclet from Kiki's wrist, Ima added helpfully " But they do have a nice jail!"

"I know it's the best jail I've been to and no I'm not from kendermore I'm from Hylo origonally but now I'm on Wanderlust." Kiki said while signaling the barmaid for two beers.

[Kyra Starleaf]

ooc- This will be my last post tonight.

bic- Ima nodded, she had been on her wanderlust for some time now. " Well I have been almost everywhere on Ansalon. My favorite place was near Icewall" she added with a wistfull smile. " have you ever been? " she asked and with out waiting for an answer launched into a story " Ther e was this ice bear, he was as big as a house, and there I was with only my hoopak..." The waitress arrived with their beer so Ima stopped talking to take a drink.

Kiki gulped down the half the beer in one gulp and kept on listening to Ima story deciding if she wanted to go there next.

After finishing her story Ima waited expectantly for the exclaimations of awe for the wonderful adventure she had just shared with her new friend. Streching her arms up she yawned loudly. " Gee I must be getting tired!" she said, and putting her head down on her arms she promptley fell asleep at the table.

ooc- By the way a brief description of my character: Ima Thistleknot, 30ish years old, auburn hair( in a proper topknot), bright pink tunic, red leggings, green soft leather shoes of elven design, and of course lots of pouches. :)

Kiki startled about Ima Falling asleep on the table decided to get a room for them to share. She then shook Ima's arm hoping to wake her.

" Is this yours? I found it for you!" Ima exclaimed as she came awake. Seeing Kiki standing over her she grinned. " Oh hello!" she said " I thought you were someone else." Getting up from the table Ima looked around the common room of the inn. " Boy there are sure some interesting people here tonight! Hey look at that one !" she cried pointing to a hooded figure seated in a corner. " What's wrong with his hands?" Everyone within earshot of Ima turned to look.

ooc- Anyone can jump right in and be the mystery person....:)

"Huh," Kiki said glancing at the hooded figure.

ooc- O.K. ... are you Raeray or are you Kiki? I am getting confused!

OOC: I'm Kiki, I told him it would get confusing but NO

ooc - Just keep it straight who you are, Kiki or Raeray, or both? 'cause I am getting a little confused. :)

bic- With Ima's loud outburst everyone in the Inn had turned to look at the stranger, while he had withdrawn deeper into the shadows cast by the firelight. Ima got up from the table with the intenetion of making the strangers aquaintance, however more and more people must have had the same thought because Ima found her way blocked from reaching the stranger. " Well how do you like that?" she exclaimed smiling happily "People around here sure are friendly!" .

Kiki following Ima found herself lost in a crowd of people. when she finally found Ima she grabbed her by the soulder to be sure she wouldn't loose her in the crowd of people.

Feeling a hand come down on her shoulder, Ima turned swiftly and reaching for her hoopak with one hand, she flailed out with the other, knocking the one who had grabbed her to the floor. Seeing it was Kiki, Ima smiled " Oh hello, what are you doing down there? Here let me help you." she said as she reached to give Kiki a helping hand off the floor. " You know you really shouldn't sneak up on a person like that." she added helpfully.

Kiki smiled at the comment. "Ok, I'll remember not to do that again." Kiki said with a giggle. "Can you even see the man now?," Kiki said kind of sleepily."People seem so anxious to meet that man."

[Kyra Starleaf]

Jumping up and down, Ima tried to see over the shoulders of the people in front of her. Turning to Kiki, Ima winked " I am goingto go and see what is going on." and with that she elbowed the man in front of her and pushed her way through the crowd.

Raeray sat back down and waited for Ima to come back out deciding that since she was the smallest she would do it better.

[Kyra Starleaf]

Ima tried to get close to the stranger however the crowd prevented her from moving any further. "Get out of my way you overgrown wart toad!" Ima yelled at the farmer who was blocking her way, but he ignored her as the men in front grabbed the stranger and carried him out the door. " I wonder where everyone is going, and where are they taking that man?" Ima wondered. " Maybe I can help!" Grabbing her hoopak and holding her pouches, Ima ran for the door followoing behind the crowd.

Raeray saw Ima leave and followed her out the door runnign gracefully after the crowd.

Ima followed the crowd to the middle of town where almost at once there was a loud bang and a flash of light. People started yelling and running away untill the stranger was all alone. " Wow! What was that?" Ima asked, looking about. The stranger looked about slowly then started walking out of town but before he got halfway there, he started to stumble. Ima ran up to him as he was about to fall and offered her hand. " Here let me help you" she said " Are you ok? You sure do know how to clear a crowd! My name's Ima Thistleknot, what's yours?"

ooc- Someone else can jump in here anytime and be the stranger! ;)

BIC: Kiki ran up to help Ima with the man.

Turning Ima saw Kiki running up behind her. " Hi Kiki!" she smiled and looking back at the stranger said " This is my friend Kiki, Kiki this is...uhhh what was your name?"

OOC: Hey!! Mono Wake up. Fun yacking!!!! Oh, yeah that proably got your attention.
Kiki waited.(in other words I know you are on right now so post Steph!!!!)

ooc- Well Raeray it doesn't seem that your friend Steph wants to join in and be our stranger so I am opening it up to anyone...we need a mysterious stranger, preferably a mage but any one will do..except another kender :( .. sorry, please feel free to jump right in!! :p

ooc- Never mind Steph, I started the stranger so I will be him...if you ladies are ready? :)

bic- Ima helped the stranger to his feet " Gee I am really sorry mister, I don't know why everybody got so excited, I just wanted to know what was wrong with your hands....and what did you say your name was?" Patting himself down, he gently retrieved the small pouch that was about to disappear into Ima's pouches " I didn't give my name" the stranger said softly " Thank you for your assistance young one, good day." Gathering his robes around him he started to walk down the road. " Hey where are you going?" Ima asked as she skipped alongside him. The man sighed and pushed back the cowl that had been shading his face, gazing down at the kender with bright yellow eyes, the man waited a moment then resumed walking. Ima looked up at him " Wow!" she exclaimed " I've never seen eyes like yours, they made me feel kinda funny when you stared at me, what are you? I thought you were human but no human I've seen had eyes like yours! And your hands too! What's wrong with your hands?" The man stopped walking and turned to face Ima " If I answer your questions will you leave me alone?" he asked. Ima nodded a huge smile on her face " I am a magic user " he said simply " Now good day to you!"

Steph it' s like this...ooc= out of character, if you want to ask a question, talk to Raeray..what ever...bic= back in character, you are speaking or acting out your character, ... always post one or the other so we know who you are :) also it's a good idea to post a small description of your character as well ;)

bic- Ima looked after the magic user in awe, she had known a few magic users in her lifetime but never one that looked like him. Hurrying after him she tugged on his robes " Hey, can I come with you? You seemed like you don't know the area very well and I have been all over here, I could be your guide and my friends could be assistants!" The man stopped short and looked down at Ima " Where I go is no ones business but my own." " Well " said Ima " You know, I could help, my great, great uncle...or is it cousin..is the famous Kronin Thistleknot, the one who slayed a dragon highlord!" she stated proudly " Brave deeds run in the family!"

Race: Dark Elf
Height: 5"6
Description: Parlik has bright green eyes, with streaks of yellow that cut thru the sides. His hair, thu a younger elf, is streaked with gray hairs that fall down right before his shoulders. He wears a dark black "go-ty" (spelling on that haha). He is a well built and looks well trained in battle, his face is that of stone. Unable to read any emotion. He is dressed in all black, and a cloak, dark as midnight, wraps around his body.

IC: Parlik saw lightning escape from the finger tips of the magic user, sending the crowd in to a panic, running every which way. After teh commotion settled all that lay left, was the 7 foot wooden stake they planned on tieing and torching the mage to. Parlik waited in the shadwos of the ally, wrapping his cloak around his body, becoming one with the night. He watched the magic user attempt to walk, but exhuasten caught him, and he colapse to the ground. It was Parlik's time to act, unsheathing a dagger from his belt, he advance from the ally way...

OOC: This is a lil late in my opinion, but i realyl wanted to get in on this storey :) , my first day here. Tryign to time that Parlik moves to finish the mage, not seeign the kender, and maybe spotted :D .

IC: Two figures jolt passed Parlik, sending fright thru the young dark elf, they pass him without noticing, or carrying, and run to the magic user, who lays helpless on the ground.

Kiki(see I remembered) saw the dark elf with the dagger and stuck her hand out.
"Hi my names Kiki Lockpicker."

IC: Parlik completly startled by the innocent kenders approach, and polite hello...stumbles with his dagger, and stares in confusion. Up ahead the mage, hears the encounter and glances towards the ally, clearly regonizing the rouge. Parlik realizes the precios time he has lost, and with a great aura of anger, goes to shove the kender out of his way, and advance on his victim. Like a cat stalking a mouse.

The strange mage looked up from Ima when he heard the commotion and upon recognizing the dark elf sighed and shook his head " I'll never get any peace" he said. Ima turned her head to look for the person the man was talking about " Huh? Oh is that a friend of yours? He talking to a friend of mine...I guess that means we are all friends here!" she said happily. " No little kender" the mage said softly " He is no friend of mine." A turning waited for the dark elf to approach.

IC: A light shove from Parlik pushed the kender over to the side with much ease. The kender mumbled some sort of a apology about how she was in the way. Regripping his dagger, Parlik let the hood that covered his face fall down to his shoulders. His bright green eyes focused, like a hawk watching its prey, on the mage. Walking to the middle of the road Parlik coems to a halt, directly in front of the mage. The mage standing bold against the rouge, and the rouge standing strogn against the mage. Lightning strikes off in the distance sky, as a rushing wind shoots thru the streets, sending the mages robes flutterign around him, and the rouges cape swaying in the wind. "I think you know why i am hear old friend."

OOC: Give me a little plot to work with :D , going to work il post again at 9:30est.

Kiki after getting shoved decided to start a game. Not paying attention to what was happening she grabbed the dagger and playfully started running.

ooc- Well I don't know a whole lot about mages...he is my first so bear with me ...:)

bic- The mage smiled bitterly " I have bested you once old friend, have you come for a rematch?" Keeping his strange yellow eyes on the dark elf, he gestured to Ima " Run little one, this is one battle your not strong enough to fight." Ima backed up a few steps but refused to go any further, she was never one to miss anything interesting about to happen. As the mage stood and stared at the Dark Elf his yellow eyes began to glow with an inner fire " I took the test, I bested my demons and now it appears I'll have to relive it all. Are you sure you want to do this?" At the dark look the elf gave him he sighed, " Very well then, just remember, you asked for this." and with that his eyes flared and streaks of flame flew from his outstreched fingers and engulfed the elf. Ima stood and stared as the heat from the fire washed over her, the mages eyes were bright yellow and so were his hands, as she had seen in the tavern but had forgotten untill now "Wow" she whispered and settled in to watch what she was sure was going to be a spectacular display of magic.

ooc- Sorry, can't think of why they hate each other...I'll leave that up to you! ;)

Ima saw Kiki come closer and gestured to her " Hey Kiki, over here! I have a great view!" Ima smiled as Kiki ran over, grabbing her hand she started to hop up and down " Isn't this exciting? I wonder why they are mad at each other, if they end up killing each other we will never know." puzzeled Ima watched her 'friend' the mage " Hey !" she yelled " You two should stop that this instant! Someone could get hurt, then we won't get to go where ever it is we are going!" She was always ready to go on an adventure and figured everyone else was too.

"oh, yeah I can see alot better, but hey why are yoyu killing each other seriously?? " Kiki said curious, " You really could hurt someone though... where are we going" Kiki asked yawning.

Ima elbowed Kiki in the ribs " Wake up lazybones, your going to miss the fun if you fall asleep!" Shading her eyes against the glare of the magic users battle Ima watched in antisapation, wondering who would come out the winner.

Ima turned at the sound of a new voice and seeing yet another kender a huge smile broke out on her face " Hello Steph, my names Ima Thistleknot glad to meet you. We are watching two mages fight, it's all very exciting! Maybe we'll get magicked! " Ima said happily and turned back to watch the magical battle. Flames and lights washed over them in the most wonderful colors of blue and red and green. Even though the colors were very pretty, Ima was started to get bored and everyone knows there is nothing as dangerous on Krynn as a bored kender.
