I know that Dragonlance features in several other places like in some Ravenloft novels and if I remember correctly, one kender went to Forgotten Realms in Fistandantilus Reborn and Spelljamer or whatever it's called features some dragonlance chars.

Can anyone tell me which novels have connections to Dragonlance?
I wanted to compile a list very soon so that I can look for those books in London in 2 weeks, any help will be welcome.

I already know and own Ravenloft's Spectre of the Black Rose.

There is a book called "Beyond the moons", it is the first book in the cloakmaster saga of Spelljammer, a forgotten world of TSR. The book is not quite bad and starts in Krynn right after the War of the Lance, and the main hero was a foot soldier in the battle of Clerist tower. So, a dragonlance is mentioned and most of the plot happens on Krynn, before the fellow go out to space. Yep, Spelljammer was the world of AD&D in space.

Emilo Hamersack, the kender, from Fistandantilus Reborn when to Forgotten Realms and appeared in the book Tymora's Luck (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0786907266/qid=1093719550/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl14/103-3250118-1821404?v=glance&s=books&n=507846).

Aside from that, along with the Lord Soth books, that's all I recall at the moment.

I already know and own Ravenloft's Spectre of the Black Rose.In case you don't know, there are two about Lord Soth in Ravenloft. The other one is called Knight of the Black Rose. It came out before Spectre... :)

Beyond the Moons, Into the Void, The Maelstrom's Eye, The Radiant Dragon, The Broken Sphere and the Ultimate Helm are the books in the Cloakmaster Cycle. The main character throughout each is from Krynn, the first book is set on Krynn, the second is largely in Krynnspace, and there's a kender or half-kender in the third or fourth book. Sadly, I've not got hold of the last two, although I seem to recall a review of one of them saying something along the lines of 'If you find this book second-hand for less than 20 cents, buy it and burn it. More than that and it's not even worth it.'

I'm not sure how likely it is you'll find anything in London for any amount of American currency, but I can tell you that while Forbidden Planet is a fantastic store, it's famous enough that you will not find anything old or second hand there. I have a greater number of Dragonlance books than they do, and I don't even have multiple copies of the best selling ones. Well, not many. And those are only because I merged my collection with my fiance's.

As for all the second hand book shops... well, I could barely find DL books, let alone the other random maybe-related ones.

If you're wanting to get the Lost Gods trilogy, Fisty Reborn and Tymora's Luck are the second and third books. For more of the tale, you'll want Finder's Bane. If you want more of Finder's story, you'll have to look at some of the other Finder books, most notable the Azure Bonds ones, which are good books.

Knight of the Black Rose and Spectre of the Black Rose deal with Lord Soth directly, but there are some (well, at least one) Sithicus tales in the Ravenloft short story books. Sithicus is detailed in the Ravenloft Campaign Setting and Gazetteer IV or V.

What would be nice is if there was a list somewhere of all the Dragonlance short stories from back issues of Dragon magazines. I suppose I could have a root around in my old collection...

*wanders off*

#225 - Kindling - Malys arrives.
#227 - Mission from Kendermore part 1 - 10 kender wander off to warn other people of Malys
#228 - Mission from Kendermore part 2 - conclusion
#229 - The Taking of Mount Nevermind - Pyrothraxas arrives. Hilarity ensues.
#230 - Mirta's God - Girl finds (false) god. Girl loses god. Girl gets wisdom.
#231 - The Measure of the Home Guard - Farmer attempts to join Solamnics. Hilarity ensues.
#233 - Thunder and Ice - Formation of Duntollik, due to Dragon Overlords.
#234 - Firstborn - First blue dragonspawn is created. Hilarity ensues.
#235 - Relics - Peddler peddles real magic items, not false ones.
#243 - Honor and Guile - Raistlin/Sturm story. Issue also has 'The Treasures of Krynn' article.

#242 has an article on Krynnish magic in SAGA, and #250 has article on Dargonesti, and fiction by Tracy Hickman.

My guess would be that the magazines in the gaps between the ones I have also have lots of Fifth Age stories in.

Hmm. This is interesting, for those of you who know the spells from D&D. There's an article in #243 about enchanting weapons, by one Mike Nystul.

Forgotten? I think not!

Ya I know. I went to Forbidden planet when I was there last year and they had almost no dragonlance books which I didnt have. Now I have all the books they had there. Im planning to go to several books stores and to the store where I bought Draconomicon. Shinare willing, I'll find something good. If not, I'll buy them over the Internet.
