IC: Mkanus Kintar sits in his study, looking over his new spellbooks. As one new to magehood, he has only the simplist spells, but an abundance of them. He stutters over the ancient text.
"Is all this really necessary?," Maknus askes his personal messanger, "I really do not see how I could be of help in finding this 'all powerful artifact'. Who's to say it even exists?"
"You dare question the power of the artifact? We all know it exsits, even the lowliest gully dwarf!", his messanger replies.
"You are right, lets go to meet the others."
Maknus starts packing his extra cloak, spellbooks, and other necessities for the journey, "Wherever that may be to" Maknus thought. He knew that the artifact could destroy Ansalon, but he had not yet recived word of whether or not it was in Ansalon.

Anyone mind if I join? Is this only for mages or do u care if a renegade cleric enters?

Anyway, heres my character, same as from Dragon Hunt (different name though), minus the dragon.

Name: Flarics
Gender: Male
Race: Minotaur
Weapons: throwing daggers and a glaive.
Bio: A renegade war cleric of Mishakal. He is shunned by minotaurs for turning away from their natural born Diety, Sargonnas. After being kicked out of his home, he travelled to Ansalon, hoping he would be more welcome here. Although he tried to be on the side of good by joining the Knighthood, he was always ridiculed (sp) and frowned upon by the citizens. they look at him in fright instead of hope and friendship. He wants his image of evil to be turned into an image of justice, goodness, and rightiousness but realized he couldn't find that in the knighthood. He is now on his own, a renegade cleric, searching for mercanery work whereever he can find it.
