I've only just started coming on the webite more often and i am now starting to get confused with all the different games. I never new there were any. Can anyone please briefly explain to me what they are?

Thank you :)

Well, depends on where you're talking. There is of course Dungeons & Dragons, a vastly popular roleplaying game based off the d20 (in its modern era), which Dragonlance was developed way back in the day for as a campaign setting, or a pre developed world for Dungeon Masters to run their adventures in (or run published adventures in as well). It is no longer (as of last month) an actively officially supported setting in terms of game materials (the novels are still out of course) but who knows what the future holds. The Dragonlance Nexus (which I hope you are familiar with?) hosts unofficial rules and has for some time, and will continue to.

Now then, there were a number of older editions of D&D Dragonlance plus the SAGA Edition, but if you're new to it, I'd check out D&D 3.5e (which all modern Dragonlance stuff was made under).

There were also a number of video games if that's what you were talking about. They're all old and maybe they were good back in their day, I don't really know, but you'd have some trouble getting them to run on a modern computer I'm sure, not to mention that if you did your computer is way too fast for them, it would probably ruin the game.

That's about it, I think. The Nexus has some more information on the video games if you are really interested.
