OOC: Hey all, this is the first RP game I've come up with to host. I'll try to make this as fun and intesresting for everybody as I can, but you may need to bear with me at the begining :D

The story takes place very shortly after the end of the War of Souls. Those Elves who stayed on the borders of Silvanesti while the others went to attack Sanction were forced to flee into the Plains of Dust to survive the attacks of the minataurs and knights of neraka who now occupy Silvanesti. Thanks to the efforts of Gerard Uth Mondar, a small group of Solamincs were sent down to help the evles on their attempt to reclaim their land. However, not nearly enough were spared to make more than a minor dent on the enemy forces.
I am Fruril Swordhand, the leader of the Knights of Solamnia who were sent down to aid the Elves. We need Elven warriors and anyone else willing to fight on the side of good against evil, as we must make a stand to at least regain some land in the forests of Silvanost, since the plainspeople will kill us themselves if we stay too long in their deserts.
Who will join in the fight to make a place in the world for the Evles? Or will the entire race be doomed to extinction...

Gender: Female
Class: Warrior

Bio: Angry with a world that robbed her of her land as well as her parents, she usually keeps to herself. She is very sceptical against that there will ever be a chance for the Silvanesti to take their homeland back, but she is very eager to die for the cause.

She watched as the knights arrived, and snorted mentally. So that's all. All that the humans could spare. By all means, it wasn't exactly as the elves had helped the humans more in the past, but it was still pathetic. They shouldn't have come at all. Waste of warriors, it was. They had no real cause to die for here, would probabaly be of much more use somewhere else. Because that was what they WERE going ot do, all of them. Die.
The thought was not all that unpleasant.
Oh, they were so hopeful, some of them. She'd like to see them try to be hopeful now.
Ha!

Fruril looked over the knights and Elves, gathered around a camp group in the Plains of Dust. What a pathetic lot they were. They were gunna need a whole lot of luck to re-take Silvanesti...but that could wait. They had to start slowly. He called for silence into the crowds and spoke up. "Alright, everyone. We're largely un-prepared for what lays ahead of us. We don't know how many people we're up against, how organized they are, anything. I'm organizing a small group to do some scouting in Silvanost lands. I'll need some Silvanesti Elves in the group to help get around. Who's up for the task?" Fruril waited, unsure if anybody would even step forward to offer their services.

Name: Berethor Solam
Race: Human(Solamnic)
Class: Solamnic Footman
Weapon: Classic longsword
Bio: Berethor comes from a long line of Solamnic Knights. His Grandfather (Yeah that seems about right) supported Sturm. His family was slaughtered by Minotaur raiders in their new conquest. He is out on bloodlust hurting and speaking out against minotaurs in every opportunity. He saw this as an opportunity. He has no stance on elves a wants to make a good impression of the Solamnics to them.

IC: Berethor was the first and most eager of the Solamnics. "I'm ready to crush the minotaurs!!" He cheered, not really caring when the other Solamnics looked at him like he was crazy.

Seated in the front row of the assembled crowd Tiera tried to focus on the words being spoken by Fruril and not on the whispered comments of the disbelieving crowd. When Fruril asked for volunteers Tiera looked around to see who and how many would lend their support to the cause. The grim looks she observed others wearing did not bode well and with a mental sigh of disgust, rose regally to her feet. The soft shimmer of the silver gown-like robe refected the light and made her seem surreal as she glided forward towards Fruril " I shall offer my aide." she said softly then turned and faced the onlookers " And for the sake of our homeland I encourage all of you to do the same in one form or another." As she silently observed the faces of those looking back at her she watched the spirit and determination light up on a few and knew in that moment, they had hope of victory.

Name: Baron
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Class: Warrior
Weapon(s): Longsword, dagger
Bio: Originally from Solace. Family was ambushed outside of town one evening by a band of thieves and only Baron was able to escape; he was only 17 at the time. Began mastering the sword shortly there after with a group of warriors staying in Solace during the winter months. Will fight for any good cause and has found that in the attempt to regain Silvanesti.

He sat patiently, listening to the speeches in front of him, and taking in the whispers of those around him as he pondered what exactly it was he wanted to do. As he collected his thoughts, he watched as the elven woman stood up and spoke to the group around her. He could see that she was into this campaign whole heartedly and would not leave her to do so by herself.

"I too shall offer my aid" he said, standing up. "Perhaps those of you sitting here whispering amongst yourselves about what to do should do the same. If we are not all going to work together on this, our cause is for sure going to be a failure."

He left the group to stand up front with the elven woman, waiting to see who else from the small band might also join in.

Teren, muttering something under his breath uninthusiastically, slowly rose to join the growing group. "I'll contribute somethin'," he said a bit too loudly. He looked out the window to gaze at the dark moon.

Teberyl rose up, brushing a hand through her short-cropped hair. "Fine. Why not?" She stepped over, throwing cynical sneer at Tiera. So tragical. All those dreams of victory. She heard some of the humans roghly cry out, something about slaughtering minotaurs. Pity on such a galant idiot to have to die. He would make an excellent Fool.

Silently Tiera stood at the front of the crowd and nodded her head to the human who came to stand beside her. In her heart she knew that for the campaign to succeed they would need the combined strenght of everyone assembled, including the dark elf she thought to herself and repressed a shudder as he too rose to offer aide. "Fine. Why not?" a voice called out. Teberyl stood and walked forward with a cocky air, throwing Tiera a scathing glare. Mentally Tiera sighed, there was no loveloss between Teberyll and herself, one always striving to outdo the other. As Teberyll approached Teira looked at the other elven woman calmly " We have enemies aplenty, we need not fight amongst ourselves." Suddenly the calm was gone and fire lite up the cool green of Tiera's eyes " However once this is over, we shall settle this once and for all!" Tiera was unsure how it all started, she had known Teberyll all her life and as far as she could remember there had been competition between them, they were pretty much even in strenghts, Teberyl a warrrior and Teira an archer. Still no matter what goes on in the world around them, life went on with all it little nuissances.

OOC- Hope you don't mind that I made up a little history between our characters AmimiquaiBleeder, if not just let me know and I will edit my post. :)

Fruril smiled grimly when Berethor shouted out. That one was a good fighter, but a bit brash. He feared it might prove difficult to keep Berethor from charging straight into Silvanesti, swinging his sword madly. The other Solamnic he recognized was Baron, a relatively young man who had a good head on his shoulders. He was glad to have both of them aboard.
He was especially glad at the whimsical Elven woman who had come up and offered her service. He felt her optimism spread into him, and as her words reached his ears hope reached his heart. The next two people to volunteer were both Elves, but neither seemed very enthusiastic. One of them seemed to glare rather unpleasently the fair Elven maiden who had made her speech. The other looked distracted, and Fruril noticed he wore black robes; this one was a dark elf, possibly exiled from the lands he would now fight to save. Fruril gathered the names of the Elves and wrote them down on a clip-board under the names of the Solamnics. He then wrote breif descriptions as to which elf was which, since the names were all very similiar to a human and would confuse him to no end. He was fairly pleased with the outcome, and adressed his scouting party. "Thank you all, this first step will be just as vital as the actual re-take of Silvanesti. Our plan is to stake out the outside of the city, and attempt to gather as much information of their defenses as we can. Or even better, we are to attempt to capture a knight of neraka, to get information out of him. It'll be risky for us, but I'm sure we can do it." He turned back to the once again loud crowd, called for silence again and called out, "Will anyone else be joining us?"

“Whatever,” said Teren. He gave Tiera a smile as his dark eyes flashed. “I’m sure some people-” he glanced meaningfully at Tiera “- will undoubtedly go with you all the way. But others, I’m sure, will always have their own greater ambitions to guide them through whatever treacherous path they have chosen. As of I…” Teren turned to Tiera.

Kalimda saw the firelight, he walked slowly towards it, trying to recognise what race was present. With his elven eyes he was able to discern elves and humans, some were Solamnics so he knew they would be friendly.
Kalimda stalked slowly into the camp, "Erm hello, can you help me?" he said cowardly holding his staff grimly.

Baron stood, studying the rest of those who had stood to join him and the others. He recognized a few faces but only vaguely. From the looks and sounds of things this was going to be a challenge against not only the forces of evil that awaited them in Silvanesti, but also amongst several of the elves who stood before him. It appeared that there was some sort of past, perhaps a rivalry of sorts, that needed to be settled or else put aside if they were to succeed. Then he heard the voice behind him. The group turned; Baron quickly grabbed the hilt of his sword. He was barely able to make out the figure from the firelight. It appeared to be another elf. Hopefully another ally, he thought to himself. He waited to see if anyone responded to the question of help.

"Who goes there?" called out Fruril. He drew his sword to be safe and approached the figure, but he soon realized it was a young Elf who looked fairly frightened. "Who are you? Did you get separated from us before? You must have. Go find your parents, alright?" Dismissing this subject, Fruril turned to his second in command, Davian. "You stay here at the camp and watch over everyone. I'll be taking our scouting party out now. Lead the way, Elves," he said, turning to the 3 Elves and 2 Solamnics who had offered to accompany him on this short journey.

Baron began walking with the small group of humans and elves who had volunteered to travle to the inner part of Silvanesti. This was looking like it might have been a bad idea with the bickering amongst a few of those around him, but for what it was worth, something had to be done. He walked near the back of the small group, keeping his eyes peeled for any sign of danger.

Teberyl smiled to herself as she slipped soundlessly over the shadow-cast ground. "When this is all over" she had said. What did she think? That they were just going to stroll in and take back what was theirs. "Excuse me, mr. Minotaur, but can we have our land back now?"
Tss.
But fair enough. Her naïvety wouldn't hurt anyone except herself, and it seemed to bring up the mood amongst the humans.
"Hope? Hope is just another word for shutting your eyes."
She didn't mind the mage, though. Teren kept to himself and out of her way. Whatever he wanted to reach through this she had no idea. She didn't care either.

Tiera glided silently through the trees, gracefully making her way towards what was left of her homeland. She knew the others thought her to be a fey creature however she did not mind letting them keep this mistaken impression of her. Knowing the enemy as she did, Tiera knew that before the end results there would be a lot of surprised humans and elves. Tiera smiled, she would just keep her special knowlege to herself for the time being. Falling back behind the rest of the group she waited untill the last human slipped behind some trees in a bend in the trail before she slipped off behind some bushes to change her cloths. The silver gown glossamer robes may be pretty to look at and comfortable to wear however they were not practical for a scouting mission or engaging the enemy in battle. Untieing a small satchel from her belt Tiera quickly withdrew her forest green tunic and leggings and drew them on. Her breastplate of leather she left in the satchel as she did not believe she would need it as yet and she found it uncomfortable to wear. After replacing the silver gown into the satchel Tiera was about to leave to catch up with the rest of the group when she heard a stealthy sound behind her.

"Do not shoot me, dear friend" Teberyl smiled caustically. "I just wondered what you were wandering off for. But obviously it was to be sensible. Didn't know you had it in you."
To herself, she could admitt that her goading Tiera was simply a way of giving rest to her highly-strung nerves. If there was one thing that wouldn't change in a world that was falling apart, it was the mutual battle between her and her... what was it? Next-cousin? Something like that.

Tiera sighed inwardly at the attitude of Teberyll however she did not allow any of her feelings to show in her face, smiling cooly she looked the other woman up and down " There is a time and a place for everything...cousin, and right now I have neither the time nor the inclination to deal with you." Dismissing Teberyll as easily as she would a servant, Tiera stepped back onto the beaten pathway to catch up with the rest of the travellers. She knew it was possibly a mistake turning her back on her cousin however Tiera knew that no matter Teberyll's faults, and there were many, the other woman would not stoop so low as to attack her back.

Fruril, waiting for the two Elven woman who had disapeared, decided to turn to this black-robed one. "You chastised me for calling you an Elf," he stated, "yet you clearly are one. If you're so ashamed of your heritage, why would you fight to save this land? What are you after?"

Kalimda was slightly put out by the comments of the group, he only asked for help. He was ready to leave again when he saw something familiar, the black robe. Kalimda sat down by the fire that they had left behind, trying to remember where he had seen the black robe.
It took Kalimda more than an hour before he realised, it is was Terbyrl! He and knew each other from his village in Qualinesti Forest, before the Exodus.

Baron listened intently to the remarks from Fruril. This is true, he thought to himself. Why would a dark elf, obviously ashamed of his elven features, want to help the side of good in reclaiming what he despises? His thoughts ran amuck in his head as there was so much to take in. Silvanost was close, but these Plains of Dust were not something to overlook before the real quest began.

Fruril shrugged. Obviously he wasn't gunna get a straight answer out of this one.
"Eh...Elves...enigmas, every one of em..."
With a swift movement, he was in fighting position, darting around to where he heard a noise. He saw the young Elven child from before. "You?" he called out. "What are you doing here? Oh, never mind...it's too far to send you back to camp by yourself now, you might as well stick with us..." Fruril turned around again to see Tierra and Tiberyll walking back over towards them. Teberyl shook her head as she watched her cousin. She couldn't tell what it was that bugged her so enormously with the woman, but she did not really care. She had no reason to ponder more than necesary, it would all soon be over anyway...
To die seemed a relief compared to the endless strain and unfreedom that was life. Why had she survived? Why?
These humen... Something like respect glanced against her mind. They tried. They hoped.
Maybe it was that that made Tiera grate on her nerves like that. Always the unbending optimist, that one. Teberyll did not want to believe in a life after this battle.

Keeping her eyes on the path ahead, she did not acknowlege his presence As if I don't have enough problems..first Teberyll and now Teren... she thought. Once the humans were for enough ahead of them Tiera quickly looked over at Teren " What do you want?" she hissed.

Tiera looked to Teren in surprise at his admission of regret "I was unaware those of your...profession apologized for such behavior. I thought such mannerisms reflected those who wear the black robes." Brushing a tendril of black hair back behind her ear Tiera reflected on her past experiences with Teren, he was still a youngling to her standards, and younger still to be wearing the trapping of a mage. She could remember him as a young elf, she had tried to include him in activities however she was always brushed off and hense stopped trying to get him to interact with the others. Looking at him now she wondered what was in store for the future, she was sure he knew more than he was letting on. Tiera just hoped it did not bode ill for the party bound for Silvanost.

Finally the group entered the cool forests of Silvanost. It was a refreshing change from the searing heat of the Plains of Dust. Fruril still lead the way silently, but he was glad to hear the others interacting amongst themselves. It was always better to fight alongside those you know. He kept a close eye on the young Elf and the dark mage. "Not too far now," he anounced to the pleasure of the group. However, that moment of joy quickly evaporated, as they heard the sound of voices coming towards them. Fruril did a quick head count-everyone in their party was currently here. "Everyone, get in battle formation!" he called out quietly, drawing his sword. Soon their presence was noticed, and a gruff voice called out, "I see people! Elves! And humans wearing the regalgia of Solamnics! Attack!" Fruril saw Minotaurs charging them, 8 of them. They were out numbered. "Damn!" he cursed under his breath, and prepared to attack.

Baron drew his sword and readied himself for the oncoming attackers. He had fought only one minotaur in his life and had barely escaped to talk about it. But now here he was, with his small group of companions, outnumbered by these large beasts.

"Do you want us to charge or stay back in the defensive?" he asked Fruril out loud. "With their size and number, this is going to be a battle to the death."

The minotaurs drew closer and he tightened the grip on his sword, preparing to fight.

For some strange reason unknown to him, Teren strode in front of Tiera protectively, drawing his dark robes about him and reciting the words that had long ago stirred his thin blood. A crackling flame sizzled from his fingertips, turning one of the minotaurs into a sizzling pillar of fire. It didn't really kill it though. Half-turning, the last thing he saw was a blade coming down fast.

"Stay on the defensive!" called out Fruril hurriedly. "We'll retreat if we must!" Spotting the minotaur who had called out, and assuming it to be the leader, Fruril ran forward and brought up his sword. Steel clashed, but the minotaur's strength was far greater than the humans, and Fruril was shoved almost effortlessly backwards into a tree. He sidestepped quickly, and the leading minotaur jabbed his sword deep into the tree. Fruril took this oppurtunity to get a good stab into the minotaurs right shoulder, which agrivated him, but didn't seem to do much damage. He flailed out, and hit Fruril hard in the chest, knocking him down to the ground. Fruril stood up uneasily, and suddenly had to shield his eyes when one of the minotaurs caught fire. Putting that down to be the work of the mage, Fruril dove onto the back of his opponent. The minotaur thrased around madly, trying to shake him off, but Fruril wrapped his arms around his neck, and managed to slit the minotaurs throat. As it fell face first to the ground, Fruril got up and looked around to see how the others were doing...

As soon as the minotaurs were seen Berethor rushed into one of the first. He ducked under the blade and stabbed around the heart area. His blow did not strike home. He pulled his sword back just in time to dodge the minotaur next blow. Berethor did not expect the minotaurs to be so tough. He pulkled back to the others leaving the minotaur with an almost fatal wound.

Smiling widely, Teberyll drew her sword in one swift, fluid moment. Granted, she would not die yet, it was far too early. But it was fighting she was here for. Knowing the minotaurs to be far stronger than anyone of them, she tried to keep out of reach, giving her opponents glancing blows to drain them of blood. Fire flashed, probably the mage, and she heard voices calling out around her. All of it was creating some exhilirating kind of buzz, that filled her head and body, came bubbling over her lips in the form of joyful, slightly manical laughter.
She almost did not notice as one of the minotaurs managed to get a hit, drawing up a bleeding gash along her arm. It was not important anymore. Only the battle and the cries of the commander... That was all that was left of the world.

Baron watched as one of the minotaurs went completely up on flames, hearing it cry out in agony. Astonished at the fact that it did not die, he gripped his sword tighter. Fruril took towards the minotaurs and clashed with one. Baron saw the fight, watched as Fruril battled and ended up the winner, slitting the beasts throat. As the rest drew in closer, Baron charged into the battle.

He took to the first minotaur he could find. He knew in his head that although he wasn't exactly a small guy, his strength was no match for that of this huge beast. The minotaur laughed as Baron advanced on him. As Baron drew closer he saw the minotaur begin to swing his battle axe. With a quick roll to the ground he was able to duck under the beasts powerful blow. With a quick hop to his feet he pulled his hidden dagger from his belt and stabbed it into the beasts left rib cage. The beast let out a growl, but Baron knew all he had done was anger it. The minotaur took another swing at him, connecting this time. Thanfully his armor held out for the most part, only allowing the blade to penetrate a small amount into the skin of his left arm. Baron drew back and without knowing what was behind him, tripped over a tree stump. Before he could do anything, the minotaur was on him. Baron looked to his left to see if anyone in the group might be able to help him.

As soon as the minators appreared Tiera turned and raced back the way they came about twenty paces, she wanted to put as much room between herself and the approaching hoard as she could for the moment. As the others surged forward Tiera choose her standing spot with care and turned to peruse the battle. Seconds passed as she stood assessing the enemy then with a determinded look on her face brought up the precious long bow she had carried with her. With unbeleivable speed, she had drew an arrow from the artfully crafted quiver slung across her back and took aim. Letting the arrow fly she smiled in grim satisfaction as she saw it strike the minator attacking Baron, it landed with a sickening thud in the middle of the great beasts throat but rather watch while it struggled to breath Tiera was already sighting on another monstrosity. Arrows flew to embed themselves in the minators, not killing for it would take more than a piddily arrow to fell one of the beasts, however wounding them enough to allow her comrades the advantage.

Baron saw the arrow leave the notch on Tiera's bow and land with a sickening thud into the beasts throat. He knew this was his opportunity and he took it. Rolling to the side he jumped to his feet, sword in hand. The minotaur lingered nearby, gasping for breath as the arrow sat tightly in its throat. Paying no attention to Baron, the minotaur gasped and groaned; he never once saw his attacker coming at him. Baron charged full force and thrust his sword into the beasts stomach. It penetrated completely and dark blood began to flow from the wound. Baron pulled his sword free and the beast fell to one knee. With another quick slash of his sword into the beasts chest, it fell over, blood gurgling from it's mouth as it tried to get one last breath of air. Baron let the beast lay and looked around for the others in his group who might be in need of help.

Teren got up, frazzled, ignoring the pain in his right shoulder. Some of the minotaurs were dead. Good. He scattered a bunch of sand over one, and shut his eyes in concentration as it fell asleep. Then a few…well several actually…plunges of his dagger into its skull finished it. Teren looked around swiftly, wondering if anyone was hurt. It didn’t seem like anyone but him was otherwise injured.

Fruril looked around. All of his group was still standing, and 3 of the minotaur had been slain. That left 5. Shrugging off the pain from the last battle, he hoisted his sword and cut a large branch of a tree. Using it like a club, he bashed one of the minotaur over the head with it twice, knocking it out cold. "Do not kill this one!" he shouted to his men (and women, of course). "We take him back to camp for questioning."

He saw how Fruril knocked one minotaur unconscious; he also saw Teren and Teberyll taking care of another. Three more were still lingering, blood thirsty as ever. As he regained his composure one of the beasts came charging his way. The beast, wielding a large spiked club, took a massive swing at his head, missing wildly and connecting with the tree behind him. With a quick turn he sliced into the minotaurs arm, sending blood everywhere. The beast howled out, enfuriated. The minotaur took a quick swing with it's uninjured arm and connected directly into Baron's face, sending him sprawling backwards. He hit the ground with a thud and dropped his sword. As he rolled to his side, the wind knocked from his body, he struggled to get to his feet. He knew if he didn't react quickly he was as good as dead. The minotaur came up from behind him and kicked him in the back, sending him sprawling to the forest floor again. Thanfully this time he still was able to breath easily. He saw the beast fast approaching and threw a rock he found, hitting the minotaur in the face. It bought him just enough time to jump to his feet and grab his sword. Enraged, the minotaur began to swing wildly with the club; Baron was able to easily dodge the blows. In return, he connected a quick swing of his blade to the beast's knee, causing the lumbering creature to drop to the ground. With all the power he could muster, he kicked the minotaur square in the face, knocking him unconscious.

Kalimda charged into the minotaurs, there was only two left standing; he raised his staff above his head and brought it down hard and fast down towards one the minotaur heads. The staff raced down, picking up speed and whistling through the air, towards the minotaur. A large, muscular hand caught the staff, the minotaur didn't even flinch, even worse it laughed in its large deep laughter. The minotaur ripped the staff from Kalimda's hands and Kalimda was pulled towards the floor; he landed in front of the minotaur, placing an arm to cover his head to gain some kind of protection, while the minotaur brought the staff above his head ready to club the elf.

Groggily sitting up, having recovered from the short unconciousness caused by bloodloss, Teberyll quickly scanned her surroundings. Obviously confident that she was out cold, none of the minotaurs had bothered to kill her, somethig that she was eternally thankful of. Dying because you happened to faint in the middle of a battle was all too humiliating to think of.

From her vantage point Tiera could watch the bloody battle unfold in sickening detail, firing arrows as fast as she could notch them, she was quickly running out of ammunition. Bringing her bow up, Tiera fired the last arrow she had point blank at the monsters chest, it stumbled a bit then glaring at her with murder in it's ferril red eyes, gave a loud roar and raced the last few steps between them.

The minotaur arched it's back backwards, as the sword scraped through his body, scraping againist bone, muscle and cartilage. Blood rushed out behind the sword staining the ground and the end of the staff; the minotaur's eyes were wide in shock, and blood trickled out the the muzzle of the great beast. "Kid! You're gunna get yourself killed!" screamed Fruril, rushing towards Kalimda. However, something snagged his foot, and he hurtled forwards, smacking his forehead right onto a sharp rock. Blood flowed down into his left eye, and Fruril squirmed around to see the minotaur who he had designated to be held prisoner firmly grasping his leg, preparing to hack it off with his sword. Fruril gripped the rock that had injured him, a good sized one, and used it to block the sword swipe. Sparks flew, and the minotaur was shocked, and loosened his grip. Fruril broke free, and threw the rock straight down at his opponents head as hard as he could. He grounted, but wasn't knocked out again. Fruril backed up a few steps, and noticed that Baron and Kalimda had teamed up to kill the other last remaining minotaur.
"Suround this one!" he ordered, and as everyone pointed there weapons at the last one, he grinned and added, "You aren't going anywhere. Come on, let's head back to camp. Guard him with your life!"
He leaned against his tree, feeling woozy from his head wound that was still bleeding. 7 Elves and Humans had taken on 8 Minotaur, without a single death, although just about every one of them had been injured. Perhaps there was hope, after all.

Although she now had the quiver of arrows from the minator, they were inferior to her own arrows so she quickly went about getting her property back. Once she pulled them from where they landed she checked them for damage, the ones that could be repaired she kept while the rest she left to lay amoung the fallen bodies of thier hated enemy. When Tiera had retrieved all she could she walked back to where everyone stood in a circle around the minator. Tiera's face flushed with anger, she could not believe what she was hearing coming from people who she had assumed knew what they were doing. " It is true we could not carry the beast however I suggest you bind his hands, feet and legs so it can not move, then we can find some long poles and fashion a travios and drag the thing in the dirt behind us." Cold emotion filled Teira's green eyes which she flashed at the leader of the group "If you want to get the minator to our camp alive, I suggest you heed my words." I still say it would be better to make him walk on his own or use some type of magic to move him back to camp. Yes, it's obvious he is not going to want to willfully walk into any enemy camp, but I do know this; I'd rather converse with the enemy and be alive than die trying to run. It only makes sense. As Tiera swung her bow around she shot Furil a look that told him what she thought of his last remark, she notched her arrow and pulled back on the bow string, keeping the pressure on untill she was certain of her shot. The minator ran faster almost as if it sensed she was sighting on it's fleeing back and just as it reached the outer edge of the woods, Tiera let the arrow fly. It landed precisely where she had intended, directly in the creatures back just below it's thick neck, neatly embedding itself in the beasts spine. The minator took a few more staggering steps, moving forward of it's own momentum before it dropped to the ground. Lowering her bow Tiera turned towards Fruril "There's your prize." then turned away. Baron saw the minotaur one minute and the next minute the beast was gone. He looked over at the mage and saw the look on his face. What a strange world this was....

"Well, we have this problem solved. Now what?" he asked.

"Figure it out. Or ask someone," said Teren.

OOC: Here I am...guys, I'm sorry, but if you haven't noticed, I've been posting a lot less lately. My life's just been rather busy. However, this thread doesn't have to die. Here. I'll take us back to camp, and one of you can resume the role as leader and control the story. Perhaps I'll be back before it ends, if not, then good luck to you.

IC: Fruril led a solemn march back to camp. He kept casting furious glances at the black-robed elf, and looking sadly at the rest of his companions. Hardly anyone spoke, but the silence seemed louder than thunder.
Fruril's head ached horribly from where he had cracked his skull against a rock, but he refused to complain about it in front of his men. However, upon returning to camp, he drudged back to his tent where he collapsed to the ground, over-come with blood loss and exhauston. The rest of the group split up, going to chat with friends and family about their near-death encounter.
It was Baron who entered Fruril's tent to find him delirious from pain. He called out for a healer, and had the Solamnic commander delivered to the tent for the wounded.
"Damn...blasted Minotaur..." muttered Fruril. "I'm out of commision, it would seem...Baron, I want you to rally the troops and give those minotaur hell," he whispered.

OOC: Well Hexum, I'm putting you in charge. I'm sure you'll do a fine job, but if you don't want the position you may pass it on to someone else. I'll still be checking in from time to time, but I'm just to busy to run this thread. So long, and good luck.

What are you glaring at me for, Teren thought slightly angrily to himself.

Wonderful. The leader seemed to be near collapse and at that angry with Teren, who in turn seemed royally pissed off, Tierna was so pointedly ignoring her that she might as well have shouted it out loud, and her arm was hurting badly. Just great. Wondering to herself if she should try to talk to some of her friends, Teberyll collapsed tiredly at the ground. No. No, what would it avail to? Instead, she grimly started to tend to her wound, feeling some kind of grim pleasure in causing herself pain.

OOC- I am going to have to bow out of this thread as well for now, it seems that I am in one to many, however I may be back....sorry.

BIC- Tiera had done a lot of thinking on the long walk back to camp, she knew that they needed more information about the minators than they currantly had. Stiffinging her shoulders she walked proudly up to Baron and pulled him aside " A moment please Sir, I have a proposition for you." Glancing around to be sure they would not be disturbed Tiera quickly outlined her plan to go alone into the minator territory and scout out their weak points. " You see we have not much choice in the matter, if we are to win this battle, we need more information and I have a much greater chance of success if I go alone." Not allowing any objections to sway her decision Tiera went about the camp gathering supplies then without a backwards glance walked out of the camp.

IC:Serena felt the after affects of the extra-dimensional door, it felt like she was going to be sick. However, the nautiouness washed away and she found herself standing in a clearing in the forrest. She could hear voices and she walked into small camp of what appeared to be solamnic nights and elves. Walking up to a black-robe she asked, where is the leader of this expedition, I desperately need to talk to him".

"The leader of this band of misfits?" Teren asked rather dismally. "Oh it's him." He pointed to Baron. "But you probably won't get much out of him. He's just some old coot that thinks he's in charge."

Raistlin M.

"Yes this band of misfits" she said dryly. Walking over to baron she says: "I would like to join your next expedition into the wilds of Silvanesti, whether as spy's or a hunting party. Either way I would like to come. I could be a great asset to this journey".

Baron looked at Teren and smiled, a small smirk in his awkward grin, and he turned his attention to the new comer.

He looked her over cooly, taking his time to study her appearance.

"Indeed, I have been put in charge by Fruril while he is absent. He was called to other matters for the time being. I see you have come from... nowhere, it seems. What makes you think you could be such a great asset? I don't think you really know any of us... do you?"

Teren frowned slightly and shook his head as he walked away. How could this newcomer know anyone from the group. If it was anyone, he'd bet it was Tiera. After all, they were both girls right?

What makes you think you could be such a great asset?

"what makes you think you could be such a great asset?" Serena said making her voice sound exactly like Baron's. As Baron watched in amazement Serena body writhed and twisted into the same exact shape and form as Baron's. "Now do you know why ?", she said with a smirk on her face.

He stood calmly, watching Serena's body morph into an exact replica of his own.

"A doppleganger? Tis old knowledge to know that dopplegangers are usually the work of evil... unless you do yours simply by magic. Even so, you still didn't answer my other question. How do you come about knowing any of us?"

Teberyll watched the conversation and the tranformation of the strange woman with a small frown. What was this? Another human? Did they grow up like mushrooms, or why did they seem to swarm the place. Shrugging, she looked at Teren's retreating back. Indeed this party was an odd collection of fools and keepers of secrets. And what was her role in all this, really?
She couldn't tell.

Raistlin M.

Serena gave a little smile. "No not a dopplganger, a gift from my patron. As for how I know about you, my god has informed me of you. I will not reveal who he is now, but if you deserve my trust I will explain it in due time. My god has his own interests in mine, but the securation of Silvanesti is the first step in his plan's. So may I join your excursion"?

Baron thought things over for a minute, pondering all possibilities of this strange woman in his head.

"Well in a time of need, it would be foolish to say no. Chances are a shapeshifter like yourself might come in handy sometime down the line. As long as you're here, you might as well join up."
