War of the Lance pre-Orders

Hey Jamie (or any SP folk for that matter);

If I pre-order the War of the Lance right now...what are the chances of being able to get it in a couple weeks? I'd rather get it locally (so I don't have to pay $55)...but I'm willing to pay that amount if that means I can get it soon. :)

How are supplies doing? I assume you won't be shipping any until after DragonCon, right?

I was wondering the same thing about the wotl and tohs left over from gencon...can we buy them anywhere online?

I always encourage our customers to support their Friendly Local Game Store. However, if you don't have one in your area or would like a signed book, then MargaretWeis.com is the answer! It's also possible for us to sometimes get copies of a release out before it hits the shelves, though we can never makes promises to that effect.

We do have leftover stock from GenCon and will be filling pre-orders on a first-come, first serve basis.

Is it possible to cancel my order if you sell out of your pre-stock?

The only reason I want to order it from you is so I can get it before October. But like you said, money aside, it's always better to buy from the local game store (even though Horizon is horrible at getting SP stuff in a timely manner).

Yes, you can always cancel an order by e-mailing sales@margaretweis.com or giving us a call at the main office number. In general, I can tell you that ordering from us is a good bet. :)
