Moping With Gannets - Temporary Title in all Likelihood - Invite Only

Those who have been invited know who they are. Currently the only ones who haven't responded due to not being here are Saitheron and Archangel21.

Okay, so, you can post your bios here. I'm not requiring anything really until I see the bios, but I'm open to most anything.

My basic, short plot outline is this: Khadilah, by virtue of her god Zivlyn, recieved a very hazy vision involving Sirion and his brother, a Black Mage, Eruantien. Seeing as these two have a bad history, including the fact that Eruantien cursed Sirion's body, Khadilah is fearful as Sirion proclaims he's going to find out what the vision means. This entails finding Eruantien, who has...well, he's sort of gone into hiding, I guess. After cursing Sirion Eruantien was proclaimed a Dark Elf and banished from the family estates in Silvanesti and the elven land. The first place Sirion would start looking for him would be the Conclave, so I'd be needing a mage, if someone could play him/her. Obviously, Eruantien isn't there, and the Conclave only know that the last place he was sighted was Flotsam. So it is there that Khadilah, Sirion and the mage travel. The mage is assigned to them both for the Conclave's own reasons and to aid Sirion, as Eruantien is not someone any ranger could defeat.

Eh, I'm not sure how I'd incorporate others, likely their picked up in Flotsam because Sirion has some sense knocked into him, and realizes that, whatever happens with Eruantien, if it comes to a fight he'll die. All in all, everything he does is based around confusion, as Sirion's mind has been in dissaray for a long while.

I was hoping to start the thread with them in the woods on the way to Flotsam, and so Aspen and whoever plays the mage would start along with me, and we'd work the other characters in fairly quickly. I've been toying with some ways to get Eruantien in there early to give Sirion some logical forsight that leads him to gathering more help. Maybe Khadilah has another vision of Sirion laying dead and a black figure shrouded in the background. Any suggestions from you all would be quite alright and encouraged.

Sorry Targon. I was trying to avoid being the first one to post due to my newb shyness. ;)

I'm still not 100% sure what kind of character I want, and I'm reluctant to play a mage since I'm not confident that I have enough background in the ToHS to portray one as effectively as someone else might. I'm still not certain how powerful/experianced of a character I need.

I was looking at a sorceress (assuming this is set post-WoS), but I'm wondering how well a wizard of high sorcery would get along with her. :D

Name: Cain Shalkio
Race: Elf
Class: Ranger
Animal Companion: Panther named Shadowkill

Personality: Cain is very silent, a sort of solomn body guard. He has never smiled, nor made jokes of any sort. He can be very condescending and never seems to make friends. If anyone crosses him, he will be quick with retribution.

Equipment: Slim long sword, long bow, quiver, leather armor. (Everything is blood red)

Appearence: Cain has brown hair pulled back into a pony tail, he is very slim and refuses to hide his elven heritage. His eyes are always blood shot read, and he has a scowl that seems stuck on his face.

Bio: When Qualinesti was destroyed, Cain began to feel something growing inside of him. He didn't know what it was, but he wanted to turn around and kill everyone who caused the destruction of his homeland. When the minataurs took over Silvanesti, the feeling grew, and soon others felt the same way. With the return of the Gods, Cain turned to Sargos, seeking power to fuel his vengence. He returned to Qualinesti and fought against the Dark Knights. Knowing one day he'd be caught, he moved closer to Silvinesti and began to harass the minotaurs. The bull-men proved to be too much of a challenge for him and on one outing they nearly captured him, but Cain was rescued by Sirion. Finding that the minotaurs were harder prey, Cain decided to follow his newly made companion to Palanthas. There they splite ways for a slight period of time, Cain doing odd jobs to make some money. After a while the two met up again, and Cain joined with him and Khalidah in order to repay his debt to Sirion and find his brother.

Name: Blithe Haven
Race: Human
Gender: Female
Class: Cleric of Mishakal
Equipment: Pouches of herbs and powder hanging from a silver girdle around her waist. She carries no weapon but her faith in her god.

Description: She looks to be a small girl with platinum-blonde hair concealed within a blue shawl wrapped around her head. She has gentle violet eyes and light brown skin. Her body is concealed beneath a plain, sky blue robe with long sleeves, only her hands and feet are visible.

Personality: Highly pious. She blesses everyone and prays for anything that could be down on one knee. Blithe accepts all things in the manner that everyone was created by a higher being. Passive, she would not react to those who have done wrong, but only to which she scolds them and keeps a watchful eye on them, making sure they do not do wrong again (as long as they are around her). Nonetheless, she is kind-hearted and sympathetic to all those who need healing of the heart, body, and mind; she would never leave a creature wounded.

Well, I tried to get Saitheron to play Eruantien, Sirion's...different brother, the one who cursed him with singular polmonary, uncontagious and never-going-to-kill-you-but-will-make-you-suffer-till-you-die tuberculosis, cause I know Sai could really tear it up with that part. But Sai posted in Will Be Gone For Awhile, and I haven't gotten a reply from him, so I don't know about that yet. If it comes down to it, I may just control him myself or bring someone else in. I'm open to any side ideas as well. I'm still thinking on additions.

Anyway, Steph, don't pick on AA21 for resurecting Mazuto(Sorry, guys, I am not afraid to say it! ;) ) You brought Sudar back into the first thread I ever participated in, 'And into death....' and that was with AA21 in it as well. What I mean to say is that you can't pick on AA21 about Mazuto. You bring back your annoying characters too. I seem to remember a certain pair of elven brothers. :rolleyes:

^-^ Lol! Don't worry, Majere, I'm just playing ^,^ (and I hope he knows that, too) But yeah, I know that Sudar had her little reappearances... but to me she's dead. She got stabbed in the heart and now she's marked her year. So yeah, there's nothing to be done about it, but usually I don't play with "deceased" characters, it's like once they die... they die (forever) O.o That reappearance was before her death year so she was playable as a cameo and that was it.

I hope that clears that up, Majere and Targon, that I hold no spite for Arch or -- yes -- Mazuto. *raises right hand* I will not show any grudge or anything bad towards the guy during this thread. ^-^

Also, if we're still short the wizard we need (not Sirion's brother, but the contact from the conclave), I could try to play a white robe instead of a sorceress. I'm kind of notorious for waiting to see what the party needs, then playing that part to round out the group. ;)

Descrition: Tall, slender elf with long silvery hair and deep blue eyes. She wears tan coloured robes with gold and green ruins enbrodered on the cuffs and hood. She carries a long walking stick.

Bio:
Both Khalidah's parents were scallors and her love of nature made her path as a follower of Zivlyn very easy. She has been living in the woods outside of haven for many years undesturbed but as of lately she has been getting visions of things that have been and things to come..... That was nearly 900 years ago.

Along with these blessed visions, Khildah has been granted the youth and longevity to see her visions come to pass. The only hook is that free will gives people the chance to change their destanies. Each time someone changes their course from what Khaidlah has seen, the druidess is granted new visions and must start her quest to fufill her visions once again. Often, is she sees great parel, she will try to infulance people towards a less destructive path.

As I'm sure you can imagine, having insght into the contant future and what has happened and not happened and will happen can make it hard to keep what is real in check. 900 years of this has untered the Khaidlah's outlook on life. She takes peasure in the simple things and worries little about what is to come as far as the day to day worries many have. That and her hold on reality is not always the tightest so she appears to be les than sane.

Khaidlah met Sirion as he and a group of companions freed her and another elf (a friend of Sirions) from a slave trader. A bond between the two was made imediatly and when the group parted ways, Khaidlah and Sirion took to the road, following the wind. They spend many years together in the woods outside Haven but drifted apart, neather willing to admit to the other their true feelings for one another. It was only after spending a few months apart that Sirion sent word to Kahdilah in the form of a letter carried by one of his cousins.

I don't have much time, so I will start and finish quickly. I am terribly sorry for my sudden and silent departure. I had business to handle here in Silvanesti. I do miss you, to an extent I had not realized I held when with you. If I manage to make it as far as Enoch has managed on my behalf, then I'll be safe from these perils of my blood to show you how much I love you.

But I am in trouble. Doubtless Enoch has noticed, and he'll likely tell you as much. He can explain in greater detail if you ask him. My brother is here, greatly unexpected by myself. He is a Black Mage, and aide of the Council. But he has long been consorting with...less convenient people. Demonic alterations of life, of several kinds. He is straying from the path of our family, though my parents do not seem to notice. They are old and foolish, and my brother is playing his cards in that direction. I have kept his secret for a long time, but I fear he realizes what I will do. He has long loathed me, though what started it I do not know.

Name: Argendarah (Darah) Televas
Race: half-elf
Gender: female
Class: White Robe Mage

Description: Medium height, deep auburn hair almost the color of a rich red wine, slightly almond-shaped, violet colored eyes. Inherited her father's more delicate facial features, and pale complexion, and her mother's slightly heavier ( and curvier) body and fuller lips. The mark of her test in the tower is, that while her skin is a normal color, it appears to glimmer and sparkle somewhat as tho she has been dusted in a fine silvery powder. Darah's hands, feet, nose, ears and lips are always icy cold to the touch.

She is warm and open, and does her best to extend kindness to all, even those who aren't kind in return.

Bio: Her father was a second son of a less house and was termed a dark elf and cast out after refusing to give up his study of magic. He traveled north and between Port Balifor and Flotsam he came across a lady and her brother being assulted by thieves. He managed to save the lady's life almost at the cost of his own. She, in turn, took him in and helped him recover from his injuries. The end result was their marriage and Darah's birth two years later.

Darah was raised in Port Balifor, and was preparing for the day when she would take her own test in the tower. Her father was killed under mysterious circumstances and rumor had it his death was at the hands of a mage of the black robes. Tragedy struck once again a year later with the coming of the Chaos War and subsequently the departure of the gods of magic.

Darah and her mother made hte long and dangerous journey to the Isle of Schallsea a few years later where her mother became a mystic at the Citadel of Light. Darah was apprenticed to former mage ( a friend of her late father) who was both and herbalist and an alchemist by trade.

After the fall of the last Dragon overlord and the return of High Sorcery to Krynn, Darah was able to continue her studies, and was one of the first to take the test after the return of thee three moons.

Equipment: white robes, scroll case, parchment, ink and pen, spell components, spellbook, dagger, and a mohogany staff inlaid with silver runes, tipped with a diamond, backpack with the nessecaries for travel.

I recently recieved a message from Saitheron saying that he was going to be able to play the role of Sirion's brother. However, there is a cost, and one that suits me perfectly. ONE post per day. Yes, yes, it is all TERRIBLY slow, but it accomodates both Saitheron's work and my own struggles. So, I shall start the thread tomorrow. It won't be perfect, but then, what is?
