Hmm, I was thinking of going back to my roots in role-playing and starting the very first role-playing game in these new forums. I wanted to base it on the new beginnings after the WoS, so basically the setting would be with the gods newly returned to Krynn and the dragon overlords falling from power. It will be a sorta newbie adventure, a place to start out new characters in a new village, going on a quest that pertains to the new problems arising in a new age, post-WoS (notice, alot of "new"ness :p).

Also, I'd like to make this thread a sticky in the new RP forum (if possible), so it can serve as a general off-topic thread for everyone.

Hehe, I "stole" the idea from your DL.com OOC Thread :p And yes, when I joined the RPGC for the very first time a couple of years ago, I mainly did role-playing. But when the DL.com moved it's official message boards to their own website, I joined and basically stopped RP-ing when there wasn't anymore good threads or people to role-play with.

Not in the slightest. As long as the character is relatively new and un-powerful. We're going to try and make this a newbie adventure (seeing as I am a newbie to RP-ing, not having RP-ed in a looong time).

Also, I just wanted to add: This new RP I was thinking of might not get off the ground for a little while, seeing as I will be sequestered in a stuffy little cottage far from home, computers & TV's, and civilisation in general for the next week or so. In the meantime, people should start some other RP's in anticipation (if you're actually that excited, which you're probably not...)!

Yes, actually, all you have to do to reply to that particular post is go to the bottom-right of the post and press the "Quote" link. It'll bring you to a page that has the original text of the previous post quoted for you.

Nah, I would have told you guys, except you all abandoned all of my threads, so I figured you could find it yourselves :p Nah, I just knew Prophacyks was smart enough to find it all out, and nice enough to tell all of you. i wouldnt put it past you you proberly trying to get a head start and get up the next 3000 posts but from what ive seen slothus is almost double your posts whats the go your not the master poster any more your washed up retireing whould seem like the only option now

hm...my fave roleplayer?...hard to say. Prophacyks is pretty good at twisting the threads and killing them (looks back at old forums) you got that right motl. But then Beardies has a real way of making them interesting. So does Grimgor. And...I'd have to say, I'm probably one of the most amateurish RPGers here, at least from the old forums that is.

So I'll think on it...

Beardies is Beardies. kendercommander is well.. he's a person that likes to play characters that most people wouldn't play (ei. kender, orge magi, etc.). I well I don't know. I guess you can rate me yourselves.. (don't make me look bad). But I like to play characters that are fun to play as (ei. characters with conflicts, stupid characters as in intelligence, gullies, kender, etc.)

Well, if you want to join it with what to do with a Year? I have a good storyline and adventure coming up for that. As for the other two I had mentioned, I could probably come up with something to do or even Grimgor could also. We just need more going on. Like the far, far, away one has almost stopped completely. It is me Grimgor and two kender. We need a little bit more to get something going on it. We could use some people who actually live in the town. It is up to you though, if you are going to join in with What to do with a year, PM me and let me know what you want to be. I might even have a role you can fill if you cannot find something.And the other one Grimgor is DMing we might be able to use some others in there also. I know we lost alot of people moving over to this site.
