View Full Version : Dragonlance Adventure vs D&D Basic

This month Wizards is releasing their D&D basic game, like they have before this is a box with basic rules, dice, characters, etc to intro new players to D&D. Next Month Sovereign is releaseing the Dragonlance Adventure Game. Which, if I'm not mistaken, will be very similar, the differences being this will follow the original DL module and have The Companions as pregenerated characters.

Unfortunately these products will be directly competing since it seems unlikely that someone will buy both. I also find it interesting (if not utterly strange) that both adventures seem to feature a Black Dragon as the main antagonist... indeed both boxes have Black Dragons on the cover.

So really I have to ask, other than being Dragonlance, which is enough for me and most of us on the forum, what will make the Dragonlance Adventure Game a superior product?

Its a natural question.
